Vilemina

Vilemina is a quest-exclusive NPC who appears in the Archon Quest Song of the Welkin Moon: Act I - A Dance of Snowy Tides and Hoarfrost Groves.

Profile

Vilemina was one of Lauma's childhood friends, and served under her when she became the Moonchanter. Over time, she became disillusioned with the Frostmoon Scions, and secretly attempted to join the Fatui. While she was not immediately accepted, Sandrone decided to give her a chance, instructing her to return to the Scions and spy on the Traveler when they arrived.^[2]

When the Traveler showed up, Vilemina obeyed the Harbinger's instructions, and witnessed them entering the sanctum of the Frostmoon Scions, accompanied by what appeared to be their sibling (but which was in reality a disguised Rerir). She followed them and, recognizing the opportunity to impress her benefactor by bringing her the very thing the Fatui had been seeking, she stole the Moon Marrow and brought it to the Kuuvahki Experimental Design Bureau.

While infiltrating the Design Bureau, the Traveler and Lauma encountered Vilemina again, now wearing a Fatui uniform. Lauma told her the truth about the False Sky and her own misgivings about the Scions' faith. Vilemina's attitude softened, but she could not bring herself to return to the Scions. In a last show of respect to the Scions' ways, she cut off her antlers, acknowledging her status as a traitor. She then informed Lauma that Sandrone had taken the Moon Marrow to Starsand Shoal.^[3]

Appearance

Vilemina is a woman with blue eyes and light brown hair with a braid in the back. When first seen, she wore a traditional Frostmoon Scions outfit and headdress and had short antlers. After her defection from the Frostmoon Scions, she is seen wearing a Fatui uniform, and cuts off her antlers.

Etymology

• Guglielma or Wilhelmina of Bohemia (Italian: Guglielma Boema; Czech: Vilemína/Blažena) was an Italian noblewoman, possibly of Czech/Bohemian origin, and, according to her own assertions, the daughter of king Ottokar I of Bohemia.
