Zinovia is an open-world NPC located in Snezhnograd, Everfrozen Earth, Snezhnaya.

Zinovia is Linnea's adoptive mother. Zinovia, her husband Latkin, and Linnea originally lived in Nod-Krai, where Latkin was a naturalist by trade.[3] Zinovia's biological daughter, Yashina, was sent off as a baby to live with Linnea's fae parents due to a strange illness that was otherwise untreatable by human means. In turn, the Augury Bird couple entrusted Latkin and Zinovia with Linnea, in hopes that Linnea's powers of prophecy — and thus the suffering that the powers would bring — would be delayed as she grew up among regular humans.[4] That Linnea was herself an Augury Bird was initially unbeknownst to both Latkin and Zinovia. In Linnea's earliest memories, Zinovia is described as an observant and caring mother, preferring to communicate her love through her actions than her words.[3]
Sometime during Linnea's childhood, the young girl started exhibiting physical features typically associated with Augury Birds, such as wings in her hair and "a dusting of small crystals" on her skin. Linnea soon realized that she was a changeling. Latkin and Zinovia did not take this discovery well. Over time, the family grew distant, and Zinovia began to long for her human daughter instead. When Zinovia fell gravely ill, the couple decided to venture northward to see their human daughter once more, leaving Linnea alone in Nod-Krai.[5]

- Yashina: Didn't Celaeno tell us that Linnea is a brilliant, brave, and incredibly reliable adventurer now?

- Yashina: Hmm?
- Zinovia: No... it's nothing.
- Yashina: So, once I'm all better, let's bring the sweetest, yummiest candies from Zapolyarny and go to see Linnea! That way, our family can finally be together again!
