A Post-Honkai Odyssey Chapter 2/Base

The Base is the main headquarters of the Captain's squad in A Post-Honkai Odyssey Chapter 2. Captains can check out all of their collections here, interact with the characters, and receive certain rewards.

The base is first unlocked upon completing II - Cold Armory, [Fighting Back]. The top right has Moon Ring, Characters, Inventory, Rewards, Supply, and Submerged City tabs, while the top left features the Captain's current mission and the Open World menu option.

Outside of the user interface, there is also furniture unlocked after completing [Organizing the Base] that can be interacted with that will lead to other menus such as the Collection and Daily Tasks.

Moon Ring

The Moon Ring is the first tab where Captains can see their current Moon Ring, level, and additional information about each activation. Captains can also activate or deactivate each of the four cores here.

Characters

The Characters tab is the second tab and is unlocked after II - Cold Armory, Upgrade. Here, Captains can see a list of their current characters and upgrade them or check their Ratings.

Inventory

The Inventory, also called the Storage Box, is the third tab where Captains can see the current list of items they hold. Only unlocked items will show here, and will adjust according to use.

Rewards

Rewards are the fourth tab in A Post-Honkai Odyssey's base. Here, Captains can obtain extra materials after completing missions. There are three sub-categories per certain rewards.

The Collection can be found next to Carole's shop and will lead to five different subcategories and [The Story Before]. Unlocked after completing [Organizing the Base].

Events

Also called [Story]. There are 27 entries in total. Unlocking a new entry rewards  Volatile Krystallum ×600.

Files

Files is an archive of important story items in A Post-Honkai Odyssey Chapter 2. They can be unlocked by interacting with specific spots or throughout the story and are only obtained once. There are 34 entries in total.

Photos

Photos lists all of the photos that are collected throughout the story and events. There are 21 entries in total.

Monsters

Also called [Collection]. Monsters lists all the enemies Captains have previously encountered in the storyline missions, [Submerged City], or through the Adventure Map. There are 30 entries in total.

Achievements

Features 52 entries. Meet specific conditions to unlock hidden achievements and receive their rewards. All achievements display their unlock date once the requirements are fulfilled.

The Story Before

[The Story Before] is a way for Captains to play the preluding event to A Post-Honkai Odyssey Chapter 2's release, Before Starfall. There are seven stages in total, and each stage can only be cleared once.

Daily Tasks

Daily Tasks can be found on the black board. Unlocked after completing [Organizing the Base].

1. Accepting Tasks
   • Captains can accept 2 new daily tasks in APHO Chapter 2 every day and consecutively keep 6 tasks in total.
2. Task Rewards
   • Daily tasks grant loads of  Moon Ring EXP to level up Moon Ring. They also offer character growth items and improve character rating based on the task giver.
3. Rules
   • Before Moon Ring reaches Lv. 20, daily tasks remain a daily activity within AHPO 2. After Moon Ring reaches Lv. 20, they will become part of the Open World Adventure Tasks.
     • When the Moon Ring is below Lv. 20, the number of daily tasks received is increased from 2 to 3.
4. Urgent Tasks
   • Daily tasks have a chance to be urgent tasks, which come with a time limit and bonus rewards. Complete them within the required time to claim bonus rewards. Urgent tasks becomes normal tasks once the required deadline expires.
5. Global Tasks
   • Global tasks have no location requirements.
