"Elder" Amunet
Last updated 2026-08-26
Amunet is an NPC on Amphoreus, located in Beyond Time: An Eternal Page.
Profile
Amunet was the adamant ruler of Aidonia, a fierce devotee to Thanatos and the concept of Death. She adopted Castorice as per the wishes of the Queen of Styxia, and raised her to be Aidonia's executioner, known as the "Holy Maiden."
At the end of her life, Amunet asked Castorice to grant her death as she had taught her, as her fear of what she revered had grown too strong. Castorice obliged to this request, allowing Amunet to go in peace.
History
33,550,336th Eternal Recurrence
At the end of her life, Amunet asked Castorice to use her abilities to grant her death, reasoning that she had already "died" as she had "begun to fear... [her] declining health and impending death." Despite Castorice's objections, she fulfilled the elder's wish, erecting a cenotaph in the marshes outside Aidonia for her afterwards. Following this, Castorice left Aidonia in search of Thanatos, holding nothing but respect for Amunet as time marched on.[1]

Dialogue
- Amunet: Heh... Looking at them reminds me of my sisters who were also taken in by the temple.
- Amunet: At this point, the prayers that hail death in Aidonia have become nothing but absurd delusions.
- Amunet: But I still believe that all things must come to an end. That end might be death, or to be forgotten. But until then...
- Kalista: We don't have to hold hands through a branch or avoid hugs anymore. Castorice, is there anything else you want to do but haven't been able to?
- Polyxia: Pinky promise, tickle fight... arm wrestling?
- Castorice: Huh?
- Amunet: ...Hehe. Before that, we've got tons and tons of things waiting for us to do.
