Mia

Mia is an NPC on Planarcadia, located in Pearluxe Tower. She disappears after completing Adventure Mission Blood of the Lone Wolf.

Profile

Mia was the secretary of Pearl. She is discovered to be a spy from the Marketing Development Department planted in Planarcadia.^[1]

History

During the events of Planarcadia, Mia was tasked by her boss to bring bioweapons onto the planet to cause chaos. Unexpectedly, this was compounded when the weapons were instead replaced with Shuhu's cells, but the plan continued nonetheless.

As Skott failed to acquire the mask from the Synwish Syndicate, Mia hired the Daybreak Squadron to eliminate them, as they had gotten involved in something they weren't supposed to in the first place. They also ran into Skott, and Mia told him that she had no intentions of killing him as he was not involved and offered to work together. Skott, knowing what they had signed up for, declared that he would rather die a lone wolf than a dog, forcing Mia to order his death.

While investigating the origins of the mask the Synwish Syndicate acquired, the Trailblazer, Silver Wolf, and Fugue discovered more to the syndicate's destruction and Skott's murder. Acquiring a recording from Hayek, who Skott had ordered to go into hiding, Silver Wolf leaked the feed to the public, catching Mia's attention and forcing her to eliminate them with hired muscle. She was easily defeated, and knowing she was at death's door, revealed that she was not responsible for bringing Shuhu's cells. After talking with Yao Guang and Pearl, Fugue and Silver Wolf agreed to let the Trailblazer decide Mia's fate:

• If the Trailblazer hands her over to Yao Guang, Mia is taken into the Xianzhou Alliance's custody on the Xianzhou Yuque.^[2]
• If the Trailblazer hands her over to Pearl, Mia is taken into the custody of the Strategic Investment Department.^[3]
• If the Trailblazer decides to let her go, Mia is initially confused, but the Trailblazer clarifies that while she's still alive, Skott hasn't been given proper justice. They reveal that they intend to release a rumor on Furbobo Weekly about her fleeing from her crimes, which causes Mia to leave both "bewildered and terrified." Fugue states that this decision is "no different from killing her," and she is then reported by Furbobo Weekly to have committed suicide.^[4]
