Head to Seafeld TV Tower and investigate the supernatural occurrence
Mission DescriptionαWolf's Investigation Diary:
How did a hacker like me end up doing detective work? Honestly... she just offered me way too much to pass up.
I mean, sure, I've never done this kind of job before, but truth be told, how hard can detective work really be? Bullet Argumentation, Mystery of Borisin Village, Ace Badge Attorney, The Seafeld Fin Chronicles, Resurrection of the Wicked, The Aha Family Is Dead... I haven't cleared all those deduction games for nothing!
Come to think of it, (Trailblazer) is pretty closely tied to this whole case, so I might as well bait (him/her) into joining me. (He/ She) has been solving all sorts of bizarre cases in Planarcadia lately, so (he/ she) should be of some help.
Weird, though. How come I never noticed (he/she) had this talent before?
Oh! Right! Evanescia told me before that when she first met (Trailblazer), she pulled some "supernatural" stunt and scared the life out of (him/her). It was honestly hilarious. Don't tell me (Trailblazer) is afraid of ghosts? I've gotta take this chance to give (him/ her) a good scare.
- (Talk to Timid Odd-Job Worker)
- (Trailblazer): So you're the one who posted on Furbobo Weekly about the TV station being haunted?
- Timid Odd-Job Worker: Yeah! It was super creepy! Now I just can't shake the feeling that someone's always there... watching everything I do...
- Timid Odd-Job Worker: And today, I saw it with my very own eyes... a little girl vanished right in front of me! Like a ghost!
It's just a ghost, right? What's so strange about that?
I can run into ten ghosts just by stepping outside.- Timid Odd-Job Worker: Oh come on, little raccoon! You think I can't tell a ghost when I see one? The reason why it's so scary is...
- Timid Odd-Job Worker: That little girl... she's clearly not a ghost. Yet she vanished right before my eyes like a ghost, just like that!
- (Trailblazer): Never mind, just forget about it... When and where was the last time you saw that "ghost-like little girl"?
- Timid Odd-Job Worker: Thank you, little raccoon. Now I can head to work with a peace of mind.
- Timid Odd-Job Worker: The last time I saw that mysterious girl was near the Station Director's office. Anyway, I'll be counting on you to go check it out~
- (Approach the door)
- (Trailblazer): This must be where the odd-job worker encountered that "mysterious petite girl." Let's take a look around.
- (Approach marked location)
- ???: Stop right there, despicable (Trailblazer). How dare you show your face here again... at this very place where you killed me!
After all, criminals always return to the scene of the crime.
- ???: Are you sure you should be saying that?
Wait, this isn't even the place where the showdown took place!
- ???: Eh, it's close enough.
- ???: Hehe, since you're asking who I am...
- (Trailblazer): I didn't.
- ???: That's not how it works! You gotta ask. Otherwise we're not getting anywhere.
Okay. Who exactly are you?
- ???: Thanks for cooperating.
Well, that's not gonna happen.
- ???: Fine. Never mind, then.
- Silver Wolf: That's right, I'm none other than the almighty αWolf! Didn't see that coming, did you?
- (Trailblazer): ...
- Silver Wolf: ...Whatever. You've probably figured it out already.
Yeah, I figured as much.
- Silver Wolf: But you gotta admit, that was a pretty cool entrance, don't you think?
That was totally unexpected! I thought it was Fulwish here to finish me off!
- Silver Wolf: Aw, you and Bladie are the only ones who'd play along like this. I'm so moved.
So what brings you all the way out here?- Silver Wolf: See that mountain of chairs? Fulwish was standing right in front of it, like she was about to put on an acrobatics show when we got there.
- Silver Wolf: Don't you wanna know how she built that mountain of chairs? 'Cause I'm dying to find out.
- Silver Wolf: So I snuck in here to access the security cams and see what went down.
You snuck into the TV tower just for this?
You might wanna put your skills to better use.- Silver Wolf: Hey, what's that supposed to mean? Do I look like I've got nothing better to do?
- Silver Wolf: Okay, you're probably right. But this time I'm actually here on business.
- Silver Wolf: Long story short, Pearl wants us to dig into where the Synwish Syndicate got that mask from. Y'know, the one Sunday is holding right now.
- Silver Wolf: This whole thing probably involves other IPC departments, so Pearl can't trust any of the locals. In comparison, a mercenary like me is actually more reliable. After all, it's easier to pin the blame on me if things go south.
- Silver Wolf: But anyway, I'll put the mask thing on hold for now. I'm here to investigate who killed Skott and the Synwish Syndicate.
Isn't it Fulwish?
Isn't it the Daybreak Squadron?
You mean the one pulling their strings?- Silver Wolf: Someone's gotta be calling the shots behind this bloodbath at the end of the day. And Pearl wants me to dig 'em up.
- Silver Wolf: Speaking of which, messing with that Skott guy back on the Xianzhou was pretty fun. It's a shame he got taken out all of a sudden like that.
He and I go way back.
- Silver Wolf: Mm, I think you're probably more upset than I am. After all, I only met this guy once, and you're his actual... uh... old friend.
I don't even know what to think.
- Silver Wolf: Same. I don't know why, but it's just... bugging me.
- Tingyun: As expected, turns out you're the ghost-like little girl, Miss Silver Wolf... Hm? Benefactor, what brings you here?
- Silver Wolf: Oh, Miss Terror in Fog, are you here to watch Director Fulwish stack chairs into a mountain too?
Exchange information with Tingyun and Silver Wolf
Step DescriptionαWolf's Investigation Diary:
Tingyun's a merchant, so why is she playing detective? Is Planarcadia some kind of detective training camp?
*sigh* Oh well. She's reliable and sharp, and it never hurts to have a few extra ways to solve our problems.
- (Interact with either Silver Wolf LV.999 or Fugue)
- Tingyun: The thought of Fulwish stacking up a mountain of chairs is intriguing... But I'm not here today for an acrobatics show. General Yao Guang has requested that I investigate the conspiracy behind Fulwish.
- Tingyun: I assume you two are here for similar reasons as well?
I've got nothing to do with this. I just got here myself.
- Silver Wolf: Come on, don't ruin the mood. Just pretend you came here with me, will ya?
Looks like I'm caught up in something big again.
- Silver Wolf: Just face it. This is your fate as a Nameless.
- Silver Wolf: Guess there's no point in hiding it from you. Truth is, we're here to investigate the Synwish Syndicate case and track down where they got that mask from. Y'know, the one you swiped.
- Tingyun: ...My sincerest apologies, that was not what I intended.
- Silver Wolf: Then tell us what you're here to investigate. Consider it an apology.
- Tingyun: Truth be told, I'm here investigating the origins of a certain item.
- Silver Wolf: Shuhu's flesh?
- Tingyun: Mm-hm. That's precisely why I followed the rumors here. Since we're both investigating Director Fulwish's affairs, perhaps we could join forces and put our respective talents to good use.
- Silver Wolf: Hmm... This could work. But how exactly are you planning for us to work together?
- Tingyun: Right before we met, I found a business card among Director Fulwish's relics.
- Tingyun: The business card belongs to a small company called "Noctis Trading Co., Ltd." The Xianzhou merchant guild in Planarcadia informed me that this company has been conducting smuggling operations behind the scenes.
- Tingyun: It made me wonder: Why would someone prominent like Director Fulwish keep such a shady company's business card? She probably needed something from them.
- Tingyun: So, I asked the local Xianzhou merchant guild to fabricate a transport assignment, and arranged for a representative from Noctis Trading to meet with me.
- Silver Wolf: Oh, I get it. You plan to infiltrate this... whatchamacallit company, and have me provide hacking support to help you get the information you need.
- Tingyun: Information WE need.
- Silver Wolf: Makes sense. How about this: You meet with that company, while (Trailblazer) and I will hit the top of the TV Tower, providing remote support by tapping into the tower's signal strength.
- Silver Wolf: Here, take this "Aether Sticker." Just slap it on the computer where they store important data, and I'll be able to hack it remotely.
What about me? What do I have to do?
- Silver Wolf: You'll be the brains of the operation, obviously! That's what you do best.
Wait, how did I get roped into this?
- Silver Wolf: Because you're my best friend. Don't mention it.
- Tingyun: Thank you both for your help. I truly appreciate efficient communication like this. We'll be in touch once we've reached our destination.
- (Talk to Tingyun again, optional)
- Tingyun: I'll now make my way to infiltrate Noctis Trading. See you soon.
- Silver Wolf: You sure do love going behind enemy lines.
- Tingyun: ...Haha, please don't tease me like that.
Head to the top of the TV Tower
Step DescriptionαWolf's Investigation Diary:
Tingyun claims she's reluctant, but she actually seems pretty eager for this infiltration gig. Maybe she isn't as boring as I imagined. We might actually hit it off.
Let's put a pin in that for now. We need to figure out how to help Tingyun steal the data, and try our best not to get caught.
Speaking of which, if she does get caught, are we supposed to rescue her? ...We probably should, otherwise The Terror in Fog might lose it and burn the whole building down. Smugglers are living beings too, after all.
- Silver Wolf: We're here. I should be able to use the TV tower's signal transmitter to hack into all of Seafeld City's systems. Just hold on a sec, lemme fine-tune this...
- Tingyun: Benefactor, I've arrived at Noctis Trading. Are you guys ready yet?
Seems Silver Wolf's still hacking.
Hold on a sec, should be done any minute now.- Silver Wolf: Seafeld City's system architecture is a total mess. It's like a bunch of headless, writhing tentacles... kinda gross. Gimme a sec.
- Silver Wolf: Let me pull up the security feed first... Ugh... Oh boy, the routing is a complete mess. How do people here even survive with such terrible infrastructure?
- Silver Wolf: ...Found it. Should be one of these four. Let's verify manually.
Security Camera A
- Child Challenging a Formidable Foe: *sob*... We lost again...
- Formidable Old Man: Bwahahaha! Think a little brat like you can challenge me!? I've already achieved financial independence and devoted myself entirely to the Cosmicon Collective! What a joke!
- (Trailblazer): Wow, what a nasty old geezer.
- Formidable Old Man: But remember this: No matter how strong I am, I'm just an old-timer. You have to surpass me, because the future of the Cosmicon Collective belongs to you.
- (Trailblazer): Wow, what a fired-up old-timer.
- Silver Wolf: Alright, quit gawking at the old geezer. Keep looking through the security footage for this... whatchamacallit trading company.
- (Return to previous dialogue with this option removed)
Security Camera B
- Curious Citizen: Why are her videos all over the streets? How much did she spend on ads?
- Caustic Citizen: Who knows? Classic narcissistic personality disorder. Can't help but show off wherever they go.
- Silver Wolf: Narcissistic personality disorder??? Okay, I've got your face memorized. Once I'm done with this case, I'm coming for you!
- (Trailblazer): Calm down, αWolf, calm down!
- Caustic Citizen: But hey, gotta admit she does look pretty cool and cute. I guess a little narcissism wouldn't hurt!
- Silver Wolf: ...Forget it. I'll let him off the hook.
- (Return to previous dialogue with this option removed)
Security Camera C
- Odd Citizens: O great Spirit of Surveillance, have mercy upon all beings in your cold rotation. May your unblinking glass eye see through the veils of reality and falsehood, weaving every humble prayer and unspeakable sin into the eternal electromagnetic pulse.
- (Trailblazer): What the heck!? That was unexpected!
- Silver Wolf: Probably just another Arcadian pulling some weird stunt... Not our problem. Let's just hurry up and find that... whatchamacallit trading company.
- (Return to previous dialogue with this option removed)
Security Camera D- (Trailblazer): Huh? This looks like an office. I guess this should be the place?
- Silver Wolf: Oh! This is it! Tingyun, we found it.
- Silver Wolf: Tingyun, once you're inside, we'll remotely hijack the electronic devices in the room to distract them. Use that window to plant the Aether Sticker I gave you on their computer.
- Tingyun: Understood~ Rest assured and leave it to me.
- Silver Wolf: You got this. After all, you've got quite a track record when it comes to breaking and entering.
- Tingyun: ...Haha, you flatter me.
- Meanwhile, at Noctis Trading Co., Ltd...
- Tingyun: Excuse me, is this Noctis Trading? Someone from the Luofu's Goldstream merchant guild should have contacted you on my behalf to arrange a meeting with your company's representative.
- Receptionist: Oh, hi, let me check... You're Miss Tarrying, is that correct? Please wait here for a moment. Mr. Noctis is currently in a meeting.
- Tingyun: Um... How long will it take then?
- Receptionist: Oh... so sorry. The schedule says it'll take another half a system hour. You can leave your number and come back later. I'll notify you as soon as Mr. Noctis finishes his meeting.
- Tingyun: That's fine! I'll just wait here.
- Tingyun: Silver Wolf, benefactor, looks like we've got a thirty-minute window to sneak in and find the data we need...
- Tingyun: But for a shady company, they sure have a lot of guards.
- Silver Wolf: Relax, we've got this. (Trailblazer), let's create a distraction to draw them away. That should give Tingyun enough time to reach the office area.
Play the piano remotely.
- Guard A: Huh? Is that piano playing on its own? Let's check it out.
- Guard B: Forget it. That piece of junk acts up all the time. Just let it play and enjoy the music.
- Silver Wolf: They're used to it now? Fine, let's try something else.
- (Return to previous dialogue with this option removed)
Make the car honk.
- Guard A: What a ruckus... Seriously, does anything around here work anymore?
- Guard B: Just suck it up. We'll be off the clock soon. Let the next shift deal with the headache.
- (Trailblazer): "Suck it up"? Fine then. It's time to bring out the big guns.
- Vehicle Security System: Warning! Warning! Self-destruct sequence initiated. T-minus 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5...
- Guard A: Oh no! The car's gonna blow! Everyone, take cover!
- Guard B: I knew it! I told you Noctis's collection of junk was a bad idea!
- Guard A: Quit yapping! Just get to cover before we're toast!
- (Move on to next dialogue)
Switch the camera feed.
Fry the computer.
- Receptionist: Oh no, I think my computer just died... How am I supposed to finish all this work?
- Guard A: Hey, if it's dead, it's dead. Perfect time for a break.
- Receptionist: Good point. I'll just take a nap then.
- Silver Wolf: Well, that's some "chill" corporate culture!
- (Return to previous dialogue with this option removed)
Mess with the water cooler.
- Silver Wolf: Weird... I can't hack it. There's literally no water in this thing.
- Guard B: So, is it just me, or is Noctis's "Milk Tea Only" policy a total abuse of power?
- Guard A: Totally! But since he pays for all the milk tea himself, I guess I can live with it.
- Silver Wolf: This place is a total circus.
- (Return to previous dialogue with this option removed)
Switch the camera feed.
- (Return to previous options)
- (After choosing 'Make the car honk.')
- Tingyun: Don't you think that's... a bit too much for a "distraction"?
- Silver Wolf: Save it. While they're busy taking cover, get to the office area!
- Administrative Staff: What's going on out there?
- Guard C: Sounds like one of Noctis's hunk of junk is about to blow up. Don't worry about it. It happens all the time.
- Tingyun: Well, they're certainly used to it. Silver Wolf, benefactor, looks like these few aren't moving. You'll have to give them a little "nudge."
- Silver Wolf: No problem. We're on it. Just make sure you stay out of sight.
Fry the computer.
- Administrative Staff: Oh no, I think my computer just died... and I haven't even put in my staff lunch order for next week!
- Guard C: Seriously? Is food all you ever think about?
- Silver Wolf: Great job, (Trailblazer)! She's gonna be occupied with that for a while.
- (Move on to next dialogue)
Mess with the water cooler.
- Silver Wolf: Ugh, that's a fail. This wretched place only serves milk tea. The dispenser is totally empty.
- (Return to previous dialogue with this option removed)
- (After choosing 'Fry the computer.')
Switch the camera feed.
Fry the computer.
- Receptionist: Oh no, I think my computer just died... How am I supposed to finish all this work?
- Guard C: Hey, if it's dead, it's dead. Perfect time for a break.
- Receptionist: Good point. I'll just take a nap then.
- Silver Wolf: Well, that's some "chill" corporate culture!
- (Return to previous dialogue with this option removed)
Mess with the lockers.- Guard C: What was that noise?
- Administrative Staff: It's coming from the locker area... Oh for the love of—Did Dieke seriously stash his pet Nosewalker in his locker again? Go check it out before it escapes like last time.
- Guard C: Not again... Alright, I'll go take a look.
- Guard C: Anything but a Nosewalker... Please, Dieke, give me a break for once!
- Silver Wolf: Great work, (Trailblazer)! He's gonna be occupied with that for a while.
- Silver Wolf: Now's our chance! Tingyun, get into the core area!
- Tingyun: You two make a great team. I'm impressed.
- Tingyun: We've reached the office area. But there are a lot of rooms... Any idea where the data is?
- Silver Wolf: Beats me. Let's check them one by one.
Try the restricted room.
- (Trailblazer): Wait, are you a... Star Traveler? What are you doing here?
- Star Traveler: Shh... Please don't tell anyone! I finally found a place to hide from that woman.
- Silver Wolf: That's... none of our business. (Trailblazer), let's keep moving.
- (Return to previous dialogue with this option removed)
Try the closet.
- Silver Wolf: Whoa... this place is packed! I bet half the loot they've "recovered" is stashed here.
- Silver Wolf: There's so much stuff, and it's not like they can report a robbery if it goes missing...
- (Trailblazer): Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
- Silver Wolf: Hehe, you read my mind.
- Silver Wolf: But that's not why we're here. Let's save it for next time.
- (Return to previous dialogue with this option removed)
Switch the camera feed.
Try Office #1.
- Silver Wolf: Seriously? Not even a computer? How does this guy work?
- (Trailblazer): Can't hack what isn't digital, right?
- Silver Wolf: True... but let's get out of here. This place is making me itchy.
- (Return to previous dialogue with this option removed)
Try Office #2.- (Move on to next dialogue)
Switch the camera feed.
- (Return to previous options)
- (After choosing 'Try Office #2.')
- Silver Wolf: Bingo! Look, that's Noctis's name on the screen. The data has to be inside.
- (Trailblazer): Can't you just hack it from here?
- Silver Wolf: No, we need Tingyun to plant the Aether Sticker first. Otherwise, the digital footprint would lead them straight to us.
- Tingyun: But the door seems to be deadbolted. Silver Wolf, benefactor, can you open it remotely?
- Silver Wolf: Piece of cake!
- Silver Wolf: There's a control room down the hall. We can use the cameras to hack our way through.
Hack the camera.
Hack the next camera.
Hack the next camera.- Silver Wolf: Okay, we're in. Let's see... Yep, it's this one!
Open the door to Office #2.- Silver Wolf: You're good to go, Tingyun. Door's open!
- Tingyun: It worked. I'm in. Thanks for the help, guys.
- Tingyun: Now... this one's password-protected, and it's full of data. We're running out of time. Any ideas?
- Silver Wolf: Relax. Just slap that Aether Sticker somewhere out of sight, like the back of the computer. I'll take it from here.
- Tingyun: Done... That's it? You don't need me to stay until the data is secure?
- Silver Wolf: Ugh... you've been watching too many spy movies. A real Aether Hacker doesn't need to hang around and look suspicious.
- Silver Wolf: Just get out of there now. I'll wipe the surveillance footage as soon as you're clear.
- Tingyun: Got it. I'm on my way out. Thanks again, you two.
- Silver Wolf: Piece of cake.
- Tingyun basically walked out of Noctis Trading without breaking a sweat. No one even looked twice.
- Tingyun: Now that we've got the data, let's find a teahouse to analyze everything.
- Silver Wolf: Sounds good. See you in a bit!
- Silver Wolf: Come on, let's go to the teahouse and meet Tingyun.
- Silver Wolf: Hold on... there's a shortcut off the tower. Whoa, talk about a thrill ride. (Trailblazer), let's take it!
- Silver Wolf: Now's our chance! Tingyun, get into the core area!
- Silver Wolf: Now's our chance! Tingyun, get into the core area!
That looks awesome. Lead the way.
- Silver Wolf: Let's goooo! This is gonna be a blast.
I'll pass. I'm not great with heights.
- Silver Wolf: Then just close your eyes and hold on. I've got you.
Use "Interplanar Jump!" to leave the top of the tower
Step DescriptionαWolf's Investigation Diary:
This dump of a place, Planarcadia, is littered with "Interplanar Jump!" portals, turning even the most serious scenes into a complete joke. Ugh... the Elation really knows no bounds.
I mean, I could stay serious and refuse to play along...
...But how could anyone resist!? Jumping all the way from the top of the tower to the ground floor is way too fun!
- (After completing the Interplanar Jump!)
- Silver Wolf: Whoa, what a rush! I'd love another go... but case first, I guess.
- Silver Wolf: Luckily, this shortcut is always available. We can come back whenever... but seriously, who builds something this insane? The people here do have a wild sense of humor. I'm hooked.
Analyze the current information with Tingyun and Silver Wolf
Step DescriptionαWolf's Investigation Diary:
Speaking as a deduction game player, I absolutely hate it when a case suddenly morphs into a massive political conspiracy. They're impossible to remember and even harder to understand,
and the case we're facing now is even worse. Strategic Investment Department, Marketing Development Department, Technology Department, Intelligentsia Guild... It's spies within spies within spies. A whole parade of big shots, and every single one of them has a plethora of hidden agendas. Just thinking about it makes my brain hurt. I seriously want to call Blade over to hack them all to pieces.
- (Approach marked location)
- Tingyun: Well? Did we find anything good in those data?
- Silver Wolf: Whatchamacallit Trading sure loves their paperwork. Every client's history is neatly encrypted and filed. The security is not bad... but not good enough to stop me.
- Silver Wolf: I sifted through the data on my way over and one name stood out: Gilam Quenmier from the Intelligentsia Guild.
- Silver Wolf: He arrived at Planarcadia right after the Fulwish attacks started. He barely stayed at all before hitching a ride out on one of the Noctis ships.
- Tingyun: Was this Quenmier guy trying to smuggle something in?
- Silver Wolf: Not quite. He didn't hire them for "import" services. He wanted them to help him "export" a "high-risk bio-hazard cargo."
He was trying to cover his tracks.
- Tingyun: Yeah, that's the only way to explain it.
What did he take with him?
- Tingyun: Most likely the thing General Yao Guang is after.
- Tingyun: Following the Fulwish Incident, someone sent Quenmier to Planarcadia to try to recover the remains of Shuhu's flesh, but he failed and got out.
- Silver Wolf: I agree. So I looked up his travel records... Care to guess when he was last in Planarcadia?
- Tingyun: Fifteen years ago, right?
- Silver Wolf: Bingo! Fifteen years ago, he arrived just before the Herald of Death Incident and left immediately after.
So he was the one who brought Shuhu's flesh back then.- Tingyun: Indeed. Fifteen years ago, Quenmier followed orders to bring Shuhu's flesh to Planarcadia, which caused the first Herald of Death Incident.
- Tingyun: Once the dust settled, he must have tried to retrieve Shuhu's flesh to hide his tracks.
- Tingyun: But he didn't retrieve everything. The remnants of Shuhu's flesh left behind in Planarcadia caused the second Herald of Death Incident: the Fulwish Incident.
- Tingyun: Which forced Quenmier to return to Planarcadia to try and finish the job once and for all.
- Silver Wolf: I agree with all that, but we're still sitting here with zero hard evidence.
We'll just have to ask Quenmier himself.
- Ashveil: Unfortunately, you won't be getting any answers from him.
Let me guess: Quenmier is already dead?
- Ashveil: Unfortunately, yes.
- Silver Wolf: Whoa, where'd you guys come from? We got a leak or something? My security is better than that.
- Ashveil: Relax, you didn't leak anything. I'm just that much better at finding things. Hahaha.
- Kuchiba: Please, don't be alarmed. We're here to help.
Exchange information with Kuchiba and Ashveil
Step DescriptionαWolf's Investigation Diary:
The real professional detectives have taken the stage.
Due to their positions, however, they can't investigate directly. They can only help us out on the sly. Classic.
- (Interact with either Ashveil or Kuchiba)
- Tingyun: The assistance you two mentioned earlier, what exactly did you mean?
- Ashveil: I've always been the type to settle scores, but the conspiracy behind all this runs way too deep. Kuchiba and I are too close to Pearl. One wrong move, and she'll be caught in the crossfire.
- Kuchiba: So, the three of you, who have no ties to Planarcadia whatsoever, are the perfect candidates to investigate this case.
- Ashveil: Back to business. Scholar Quenmier was found dead this morning.
- Silver Wolf: What a coincidence. How'd he die?
- Kuchiba: "Suicide."
- That's ridiculous. He was silenced.
- Kuchiba: But without evidence, it can only be ruled as a suicide. Plus, he didn't die in Planarcadia, so it's outside of our jurisdiction.
- Tingyun: In that case, I'm rather concerned about the safety of those folks from Noctis Trading.
- Ashveil: No need to worry about that. If someone wanted them dead, they'd be dead already. These guys are just ignorant delivery pawns. If whoever's pulling the strings hurts them, it'll only draw unwanted attention.
Well, dead men tell no tales.
- Ashveil: Yeah... but we're not just here to bring bad news.
So what kind of assistance will you offer again?
- Ashveil: Honestly, we're not sure if this thing can actually help you guys out.
- Kuchiba: Someone quietly wiped out a massive amount of evidence related to this case. And the surveillance footage at the Synwish Syndicate building? They were all conveniently busted after the crime.
- Kuchiba: And this... This is Skott's personal computer, but the data was also deliberately erased.
- Kuchiba: Wiping everything would be too obvious, so the mastermind only deleted the work-related information. The personal data was left intact... along with a huge collection of questionable content.
- Ashveil: This personal information is completely useless to us, even a bit mentally scarring. But (Trailblazer), you know Skott pretty well. Maybe there's a lead in here that only you could spot.
- Ashveil: Miss Kuchiba accidentally left this computer in the teahouse. She'll be back to pick it up in five system hours. Before that, the two of us are gonna grab some noodles, so you guys carry on.
- Silver Wolf: Hold on. About Quenmier, I dug something up... Might be safer if I spill it with all five of us here.
- Kuchiba: Miss Silver Wolf, what did you find?
- Silver Wolf: Quenmier sent a bunch of one-way encrypted messages during his time in Planarcadia. Multi-layered encryption, auto-delete after reading... even I couldn't crack them.
- Silver Wolf: But I did trace where those messages were sent to—
- Silver Wolf: Pearl's dedicated office line.
There must be some kind of misunderstanding.
- Tingyun: Hmm, Madam Pearl has no reason to stage all this herself.
She's not gonna silence us, is she!?
- Silver Wolf: That's what I'm trying to confirm.
- Ashveil: ...Complex thinking isn't exactly my strong suit, so I can't think of a reason either.
- Ashveil: But I utterly trust in Pearl. There's no way she'd do anything to harm Planarcadia.
- Kuchiba: ...
- Ashveil: You guys can handle the rest of the investigation yourselves. Miss Kuchiba, let's go grab some noodles.
- Kuchiba: ...Mm, take care, you three.
- Tingyun: Looks like the next step is to investigate Mr. Skott's computer. Maybe there really is some secret that even the mastermind hasn't discovered, just like Mr. Ashveil said.
Investigate Skott's computer
Step DescriptionαWolf's Investigation Diary:
Doing the legwork is obviously boring, but digging for clues on a computer is actually pretty fun. Finally, back in my comfort zone!
Ugh... though I feel like this pile of data I have to sift through is anything but "comfortable." Skott! Your aesthetic quadrant is way too weird!!!!
- (Interact with Skott's computer)
- Silver Wolf: Mechs, mechs, mechs, Intellitrons, Intellitrons, mechs... Ugh, this person's taste is seriously weird.
- Tingyun: The vast majority of these materials really are "questionable content." My eyes are going to end up with permanent damage at this rate.
- Silver Wolf: Skott was a real piece of work. His entire digital legacy is nothing but this junk...
- Silver Wolf: No! This can't be it!
He shouldn't have left these behind!
- Tingyun: You're right, he shouldn't have left these behind. To have his life exposed like this after passing... It's honestly heartbreaking.
There's no way he'd have this stuff on his computer.
- Tingyun: Huh? Could someone have planted these to ruin his reputation?
- Silver Wolf: That's not what I meant! (Trailblazer), do you remember?
- Silver Wolf: I'd be more concerned about yourself, Skott. Why were you storing your private data on an IPC computer?
- Skott: Private data? I—I have no idea what you're talking about.
- Silver Wolf: No idea, huh? I noticed you paid a hefty sum for the "end-of-life data deletion" service, so I'm guessing there must be something worth seeing.
- Skott: Y—You... you... you... stop! Stop right there! That's private! Who gave you the permission to invade my privacy? Just stop it!
- (Trailblazer): Skott bought the "end-of-life data deletion" service. These "questionable content" should've vanished from his computer the instant he passed away.
- Tingyun: So these "questionable content" were left on purpose? Because the mastermind wouldn't bother to check these, and removing them would draw unnecessary attention.
- Silver Wolf: Exactly! These mech films are a gift Skott specially prepared for us!
- Tingyun: Uh... please don't say it like that. It makes me a little uncomfortable.
- Silver Wolf: ...My bad. Yeah, I shouldn't say that.
- Silver Wolf: Anyway, if my hunch is right, Skott must have buried some information in these files. Let me check...
- Silver Wolf: Got it!
- Silver Wolf: Every "questionable content" had the same string of numbers deliberately hidden in its identifier code... and when you decode that string, it says—
- Silver Wolf: "Trust in the Invisible Hand."
Who puts that as their last words!?
Neon Genesis Capitalist!- Tingyun: Mr. Skott is a refined opportunist. He wouldn't go through all that trouble, or even abandon his dignity, just to leave us some proverb.
- Tingyun: The "Invisible Hand" must be referring to something else...
- Tingyun: ...But I really wish he'd been clearer in his last words. Like, maybe just write down the mastermind's name outright?
- Silver Wolf: He couldn't risk it. He knew full well that the mastermind would comb through his belongings inside-out. If he had left anything too obvious, they would have sniffed it out.
- Silver Wolf: So in the end, he could only go with something vague like "Invisible Hand."
- (Trailblazer): Hold on, the "Invisible Hand"... I feel like I've heard something like that before?
- (Trailblazer): Oh, I remember now! Someone posted on Furbobo Weekly saying they spotted "a hand" over at the Synwish Syndicate building!
- Tingyun: Hmm... If the sighting record was at the Synwish Syndicate building, then the "Invisible Hand" could very well be referring to it.
- Silver Wolf: Great, our investigation has progressed from trashy entertainment to internet ghost stories. I hope I won't play a deduction game like this.
- Tingyun: Anyway, this is the only clue we have. Let's go take a look.
Find "The Invisible Hand"
Step DescriptionαWolf's Investigation Diary:
Looks like Skott might be a bit... weird, but he gets things done. He actually left a backup plan, truly an elite of the IPC.
But seriously, couldn't he have left a note at some point saying, "The killer's name is XXX"? Having to investigate it ourselves in the end really ticked me off.
Whatever, let's just treat it as him trying to make us feel more involved.
- (Enter the Synwish Syndicate building)
- (Trailblazer): I remember a post from Furbobo Weekly saying that the hand appeared on the first floor. Let's search the area.
- (Talk to "The Invisible Hand")
- Tingyun: Hello there, may I ask...
- "The Invisible Hand": Ahhhhh, they finally found me! I'm done for! Boss, guys, and Mr. Skott! I'm sorry! Looks like I couldn't escape fate after all. I'll be joining you soon!
- Silver Wolf: Calm down...
- "The Invisible Hand": How can I calm down!? I've seen what you're capable of! I'm just a weak little imagenated ghost with barely any Wishpower. There's no way I can stand up to you guys! The only reason I escaped the Daybreak Squadron is because I'm so insignificant, nobody even noticed me.
- "The Invisible Hand": Who would have thought that, in the end, I still couldn't escape the fate of being murdered! Woe is me!
- Tingyun: Hey, my little... hand friend. No need to be scared, just relax. See that person with the gray hair? That's (Trailblazer) from the Astral Express. They're definitely not here to hurt you. In fact, they're the one who defeated the Daybreak Squadron.
That's right. I've already avenged you.
Don't worry. We won't hurt you.- "The Invisible Hand": If... if you're from the Astral Express... I can trust you. Please... just give me a moment to collect myself...
- Hayek: ...My name is Hayek. I'm a receptionist of the Synwish Syndicate, and the sole survivor of that bloodbath not long ago.
- Silver Wolf: Never thought I'd say this, but—
- Silver Wolf: Not bad, Skott. You've got some skills!
- Tingyun: If you don't mind, could you tell us what happened from your perspective?
- Hayek: Of course. In fact... I've been waiting for you all along.
- Hayek: I'm just a receptionist at the Synwish Syndicate building. I don't know much about gangs and mobs.
- Hayek: Lately, Mr. Skott has been visiting the Synwish Syndicate quite frequently, always to discuss those masks. My guess is it's about the mask for the Phantasmoon Games, but I don't know the specifics.
- Hayek: Maybe it's precisely because I'm completely clueless about all this internal stuff that Mr. Skott actually enjoys chatting with me, giving me little lessons, venting his frustrations, that sort of thing.
- Hayek: According to him: "My dad taught me from a young age that the only thing worth trusting is the 'Invisible Hand.' You're semi-transparent, so I can trust you halfway."
- Hayek: Later on, the gang leader apparently kept the "mask" for himself and refused to return it to Mr. Skott. Every time he left a meeting with the leader, he'd be absolutely fuming, coming to me to vent nonstop. All I could do was smile and nod, providing some... emotional support.
- Hayek: And then, out of nowhere, he just turned to me and said—
- Skott: Listen up, little one. If anything goes down here, you need to stay hidden. You're pretty much invisible anyway; no one should notice you.
- Skott: Then, no matter who comes looking for you, you shall not show yourself. The second you pop up, you're dead.
- Hayek: Mr. Skott, what do you mean by this...?
- Skott: Shush! Don't interrupt me when I'm talking. Just listen!
- Skott: I've gotten myself into some serious trouble with your cursed gang. With that pea-sized brain of yours, there's no way you can tell who's been bought off, so no matter who comes looking for you, you stay hidden.
- Skott: Don't trust anyone, except the crew of the Astral Express.
- Skott: Because those guys on the Astral Express are stubborn like rocks on a sinking ship, and nobody can buy them off.
- Hayek: I don't understand...
- Skott: You don't need to understand. Just remember one thing—
- Skott: That bunch of buffoons on the Astral Express? They're your only way out now.
- Hayek: What happened next... you probably know better than I do. Three members of the Daybreak Squadron stormed the Synwish Syndicate and just started slaughtering everyone. I followed Mr. Skott's orders and went into hiding. I haven't shown my face since...
- Hayek: But before that... I did one more thing. Before I went completely dark, I backed up the surveillance footage from that day onto my personal device.
- Hayek: Please, take it. I don't know if it'll help you, but...
- Tingyun: It helps more than you know. You did well. The mastermind deleted the original footage, but they had no idea you'd already saved a copy.
Wait... Skott actually thought that highly of me?
- Silver Wolf: He hates you. That doesn't mean he doesn't respect you. Kind of like how I hate Herta... actually, bad example. That came out wrong.
We can't let Skott's trust go to waste.
- Silver Wolf: Fine, fine. Guess we're getting that guy some justice after all.
- Tingyun: One more thing, have you watched this footage yourself?
- Hayek: Of course not! Just holding this thing is enough to get me killed ten times over. You think I'd actually dare to watch it!?
- Silver Wolf: Hey. Relax. Once we sort this mess out, you'll be safe.
- Tingyun: But until then, stay hidden. Don't let anyone find you. When it's all over, (Trailblazer) will come find you and let you know.
- Hayek: Got it! I'll stay put. Thank you. All of you.
- Silver Wolf: Let's head back to the teahouse. Time for that movie.
Witness Skott's final moment
Step DescriptionαWolf's Investigation Diary:
Uncle used to mutter a line of Xianzhou military strategy to me that makes a lot of sense: "Always leave a surrounded army an out." It basically means you should never back someone into a corner and force a desperate move.
Our mastermind behind the scenes obviously didn't understand this principle. An egoist like Skott will bend over backward with zero baseline as long as there's a profit to be made. But conversely, the moment he realizes he's ultimately doomed, he won't hesitate to flip the table entirely.
The mastermind clearly underestimated Skott's grasp of the situation, as well as the guy's resolve.
- (Investigate the computer)
- Skott: Polwave. You've got some nerve, you know that? Handing out that mask like it's nothing. You think that's yours to give away?
- Boss Polwave: Hahaha! Mr. Skott, you flatter me. We're businessmen. To you, that mask might be some priceless treasure. To us? A slot in the Phantasmoon Games is just another item. Goes to the highest bidder.
- Skott: You idiot. You have no idea what you're doing. You're inviting disaster on yourself. And on me.
- Caustide: Who are you people? Who let you in... who... ugh...
- Caustide: Boss... Boss... run...
- Polwave: What's going on here!? What do you want!? Mr. Skott, what is this!?
- Skott: What else? Trouble's here.
- Skott: Hello? We're kinda busy right now. Call back later. Go on, shoo, scram.
- ???: Mr. Skott... I have to hand it to you. Cool as a cucumber, even now.
- Skott: ...Was all this really necessary? We're both spies planted in the Strategic Investment Department. If we can't watch each other's backs, fine. But turning on each other?
- ???: You misunderstand, Mr. Skott. I'm not here to kill you. I don't plan to. The ones who need to go are these clueless ploos who don't know when to quit. You're not involved.
- ???: You warned them. Multiple times. They didn't listen. What can you do?
- ???: The boss entrusted them with that mask. Not so they could run wild with it.
- Skott: I get it. But... how about you ask the boss if we can just give them a good beating and call it a day?
- ???: Aww. Never knew the Lone Wolf Skott had such a soft spot.
- ???: Look. I'm not gonna waste time on this. Let's talk cooperation. After this is done, you and me? We're on the same boat, for good.
- ???: From here on out, our trust is going to reach a whole new level. That's a good thing, trust me. You and me, we're gonna pull off some incredible stuff in this Phantasmoon Games.
- Skott: Ha. I believe you. But... nah, I'll pass. I've done my fair share of shady stuff, stole some goods, made some bribes. But straight-up murder for profit? That's... a bit too far, don't you think?
- ???: Listen up, Skott. I don't want to kill you. But if you refuse to cooperate... Then you leave me with no choice.
- Skott: Hahahahaha! Cooperate with you? And what then? You think I won't get killed after we work together? You think you're safe? We all knew the deal the day we joined: one day, they'll come for us too.
- Skott: I am Lyndon Skott. My house sigil is the Lone Wolf. My family creed is: "No friends, no enemies, just prey."
- Skott: And yet, for decades, this so-called lone wolf has done nothing but play the loyal lapdog and lick their boots.
- Skott: Right now? If I'm going to die anyway... I'd rather die as a wolf. You want a dog? Try a dog shelter.
- ???: Is that so? What a shame... Do it.
- Skott: Heh, we'll meet again soon. In the hell for fools.
- Tingyun: ...I can't believe that mask would lead to such a murder case.
Skott really had a spine, huh.
- Tingyun: When it came down to life or dignity, he chose dignity. That man... he was something else.
At least he didn't choose to go along with it.
- Tingyun: Mr. Skott seemed to follow the principles more than most.
- Tingyun: A person's true measure shows when they're faced with life and death.
- Tingyun: At the very least... in that moment, he was someone worthy of respect.
- Tingyun: Ugh... The mastermind disguised their voice. We can't identify them from that. How are we supposed to find them now?
- Tingyun: Mr. Skott... if only you'd screamed the killer's name before you died...
- Tingyun: Maybe we could check the Synwish Syndicate's call logs? Shouldn't be hard for Miss Silver Wolf, right?
- Tingyun: Miss Silver Wolf? You've been quiet for a while... Was the footage too gruesome for you?
- Silver Wolf: Ah, yeah, hold on. Almost done...
- Silver Wolf: There... done. No, wait. Miss Terror in Fog, who do you think you're talking to? Go ahead. Tell people "a Stellaron Hunter can't handle a little blood." Let's see who they laugh at. You or me.
- Tingyun: Then... what were you doing just now?
- Silver Wolf: Just put the video up for auction on the dark web.
- Tingyun: ...What? Miss Silver Wolf, what are you doing!?
If you need money, I can lend you some!
- Silver Wolf: What are you even saying? If I needed money, I'd just claim my own bounty.
So... you're fishing for a lead?
- Silver Wolf: See? This is why you're my best friend. Sharp as always.
- Silver Wolf: The mastermind's out there silencing everyone. The second they see my auction listing pop up online? Won't take them half a system hour to track us down and finish the job.
- Silver Wolf: Detectives of old went out looking for the killer. Modern detectives? We let the killer come to us. It's like fishing without a hook. Well, that's not quite the right term, but you get the point.
- Tingyun: Won't that mastermind see through it?
- Silver Wolf: That's the second time today you've underestimated me. I'm gonna get angry, y'know?
- Silver Wolf: Who do you think I am? Relax. Their hacking skills are basically nonexistent. There's no way they'll figure out we're baiting them. They'll probably think some crooked security officer is trying to make some quick cash.
- Silver Wolf: I almost envy them. Getting the Stellaron Hunter Silver Wolf to personally bait the trap?
- Tingyun: Well... it is a decent plan.
- Silver Wolf: Glad you recognize my brilliance.
- Silver Wolf: So now we just... wait for the killer to show up? Since we've got time to kill, why not guess who they really are before they get here?
- Silver Wolf: And I, the super-genius αWolf, have already cracked the case! We've got every clue we need. This mastermind is someone who's already crossed our path in our trailblazing expedition in Planarcadia.
- Silver Wolf: All clues are in motion, happy hunting!
Are you actually Sparkle in disguise?
- Silver Wolf: Tch! She own the copyright on that line?
That line felt... weirdly familiar.
- Silver Wolf: But, I mean... kinda cool, right? I've been waiting for an excuse to say that.
- Tingyun: Even I can vaguely feel it... all the clues point to the same person. What stood out to me most was that last bit of dialogue in the surveillance footage.
The killer's original intent wasn't to kill Skott.
- Tingyun: That part is interesting. But probably not the clue we're after.
The killer is a mole inside the Strategic Investment Department.
- Tingyun: Exactly. Which means the mastermind must be an official within the Strategic Investment Department back in Planarcadia.
- (Move on to next dialogue)
The killer sent the Daybreak Squadron to kill a lot of people.
- Silver Wolf: Tell us something we don't know.
- (After choosing 'The killer is a mole inside the Strategic Investment Department.')
- Tingyun: Another detail that caught my attention is the one Miss Silver Wolf uncovered—
- Tingyun: Scholar Quenmier sent multiple encrypted messages to Madam Pearl's office channel before she died.
- Silver Wolf: Right. And that's actually terrifying the more you think about it. Any guesses why?
Pearl was running the whole show herself.
- Tingyun: Madam Pearl has no motive for that. If she were pulling the strings, why hire a Stellaron Hunter to investigate herself? That's just asking for trouble.
Pearl was afraid the killer would silence her.
- Silver Wolf: Oh, sure! A mastermind who can casually off one of the Ten Stonehearts whenever they want. Totally plausible... NOT! Use your brain!
The killer can intercept messages at will.
- Tingyun: Exactly. The mastermind is probably someone inside the Strategic Investment Department who can intercept messages sent to Pearl's office whenever they want.
- (After choosing 'The killer can intercept messages at will.')
- Tingyun: Alright. With those two clues, the killer's identity is pretty much out in the open. Gotta admit, it's a total blind spot why Quenmier kept sending encrypted messages to Pearl.
- (Trailblazer): Yeah. Those messages were never meant for Pearl at all. They were meant for someone else on that office channel. Another Strategic Investment Department official.
- (Trailblazer): Someone who reads every message before Pearl does, and decides whether she ever gets to see them at all.
- (Trailblazer): And that someone is—
- (Trailblazer): The CEO's Secretary, Ms. Mia.
- Mia: Ugh... so it was a setup. Didn't see that coming. Guess I fell for it after all.
- Silver Wolf: Looks like you're desperate. Silencing witnesses yourself? Times must be tough.
- Mia: Can't be helped. The boss didn't give us much of a budget.
- Tingyun: This "boss" you speak of... is the Marketing Development Department, right?
- Mia: Stop trying to get information out of me. I don't have time for this. Right now, it's do or die.
- Mia: Go! Tear them apart!
- (Begin battle against

Magical Girl Troupe (Enemy) ×2,
Assistant Graffiti: Slacker ×1,
Assistant Graffiti: Demander ×1)
- (After winning the battle)
- Mia: While you were waiting for me, you three did not contact the security officers, did you? Clearly, you have other plans for me.
- Tingyun: Actually... that's exactly what we need to discuss right now.
- Tingyun: Miss Silver Wolf, it looks like we are both after the same target. But if I'm not mistaken, you're supposed to deliver her to Madam Pearl in secret.
- Silver Wolf: And you're supposed to take her to Xianzhou.
- Tingyun: It appears we've reached a bit of an impasse.
- Silver Wolf: To be honest, I'm just here for the money. I couldn't care less who she ends up with. And you're just here on the Luofu's behalf to help Yao Guang. This has nothing to do with us, so there's no reason to fight over it.
- Silver Wolf: Let's just give our bosses a call to explain the situation and let them fight it out themselves.
- Tingyun: Miss Silver Wolf, you certainly have a way of seeing right through things. Your suggestion is... quite reasonable.
- Silver Wolf and Tingyun explain the situation to their respective bosses. Before long, both sides seem to have reached an agreement.
- Silver Wolf: They've reached an agreement. And the verdict is...
- Tingyun: "Let the neutral party from the Astral Express make the call."
So I have to call the shot now?
All four of you sure are experts at passing the buck.- Silver Wolf: Don't worry. Just make a choice. Hand her to Yao Guang or Pearl. Make your call and that's it.
- Mia: Simple enough. Either way, I'm finished. I guess even Skott could talk sense every now and then.
- Mia: Since I am already at death's door, let me at least set the record straight on one thing...
- Mia: I did not bring Shuhu's flesh in, and I certainly did not order anyone else to do so either.
- Mia: My boss's original orders for me were just to bring in biological weapons. That was all.
- Silver Wolf: "That was all"???
- Mia: Compared to Shuhu's flesh, that's practically nothing.
- Mia: But that item was swapped with Shuhu's flesh at Planarcadia, and everything just went completely south from there.
- Tingyun: So who swapped it out? Was it Asat Pramad?
- Mia: I don't know and I don't care. Neither does the boss. Our goal was simply to throw Planarcadia into chaos. How that was done is irrelevant.
- Tingyun: That's quite the confession. But unfortunately, you're not going to die anytime soon.
- Tingyun: The information you have is too valuable. Whether it's the Xianzhou Alliance or the Strategic Investment Department, they will surely take very good care of you until we have everything.
- Mia: Oh, even better. The choice is yours, (Trailblazer). Pick a nice place for me to retire, will you?
Hand her over to Yao Guang.- (Unlocks Achievement Hunt to the Ends)
-
- Silver Wolf: Alright, if that's your choice. Let's go, Tingyun. I'll tag along and help you escort her.
- Tingyun: Benefactor, thank you very much for your help. We couldn't have done it without you.
- Silver Wolf: Oh, right, (Trailblazer). Let's meet up at the TV tower in a bit. We haven't seen that Fulwish's acrobatics recording yet.
Hand her over to Pearl.- (Unlocks Achievement Territorial Principle)
-
- Tingyun: Understood. General Yao Guang respects your decision. I'll join Miss Silver Wolf to hand Mia over to Madam Pearl.
- Silver Wolf: Okay then. Let's go. (Trailblazer), thank you so much. Let's meet up at the TV tower in a bit. We haven't seen that Fulwish's acrobatics recording yet.
As long as she's alive, there is no justice.- (Unlocks Achievement Tangled Web of Enmity)
-
- (Trailblazer): Whatever happens, she gets to walk away alive, right?
- (Trailblazer): I came here to get justice for Skott. And as long as she's still breathing, justice hasn't been served.
- Mia: Heh. What, are you going to kill me right here, Nameless?
- (Trailblazer): No. Quite the opposite. I'm letting you go. You're free, now get out of my sight.
- Silver Wolf: Wait, what? Are you out of your mind?
- Mia: ...I don't follow. What are you up to?
- (Trailblazer): Soon as you're gone, I'm messaging my furbos. I'll have them leak a rumor: "Mia, a spy for the Marketing Development Department, has fled to evade justice for her crimes."
- Mia: You are out of your mind. You can't do that.
- (Trailblazer): It's my call. Now, are you leaving, or not?
- Looking utterly bewildered and terrified, Mia practically crawls out of the teahouse.
- Tingyun: Benefactor, you do realize that what you just did is... no different from killing her, right?
- Silver Wolf: So? Everyone's so obsessed with justice for the good guys. Who says villains don't deserve their own kind of "justice" too?
- Tingyun: *sigh* I have no wish to argue, but I shall remain unconvinced.
- Silver Wolf: Hmm, the atmosphere's getting a bit heavy. Well, what's done is done. Let's just head back to the TV Tower together.
- Tingyun: The TV Tower? What for?
- Silver Wolf: To see that Fulwish's acrobatics recording, of course! We haven't seen it yet. Aren't you curious?
- Later that day.
- Fulwish: Higher on the left! Whoa whoa whoa, easy now! Keep the right side steady, would you?
- Fulwish: Add two chairs behind so the sides match. Ugh, I said hold it steady, will you?
- Silver Wolf: I thought she climbed up there. Turns out she was carried up like she was in a sedan chair.
- Tingyun: Would it be a bit twisted if I said I wanted to see her fall flat on her face?
- Silver Wolf: Hahaha. You know what, Tingyun, you and I might actually get along pretty well.
- Silver Wolf: So, now that the Phantasmoon Games is back on track, what do you say we team up and smash (Trailblazer)'s raccoon head?
I thought we were besties, Wolfie.
- Silver Wolf: Only the best of friends deserve to be totally wrecked, no holds barred! That's just how we gamers show respect.
Calling for backup 'cause you can't handle me one-on-one?
- Silver Wolf: Yeah, yeah, keep yapping. Just watch, I'll trash you like the raccoon you are!
- Tingyun: What a pity. I am afraid I can't partner with Miss Silver Wolf to oppose my benefactor.
- Tingyun: General Yao Guang has ordered me to leave Planarcadia right after Skott's investigation ends. There are Alliance matters that require my assistance.
- Silver Wolf: Huh? What a shame. I was just starting to vibe with you. So are you ever coming back?
- Tingyun: That's hard to say. But I shall keep a close eye on the Phantasmoon Games. I hope you both put on a truly spectacular performance.
See you next time.
- Tingyun: Indeed. I look forward to our next meeting when things are a bit more peaceful~
I'll miss you.
- Tingyun: I'll miss you too, benefactor!
- Silver Wolf: Shhh, hold on! Save the sappy goodbyes for later. The real show is starting.
- Fulwish: Heeeeeeey! Hey! Ouch!
- Fulwish: Ouch... I told you to keep the right side steady! What are you standing there for? Hurry and help me up!
- Silver Wolf: Whoa, she really fell! The Terror in Fog is a prophet of doom. Spooky.
- Tingyun: Please, don't make me sound like a jinx. It was clearly her own lack of balance.
- Fulwish: You butterfingered fools! They are going to be here any second!
- TV Station Staff: Director, they are already here...
- Fulwish: Forget about it. Don't bother lifting me. Just help me fix my makeup.
- All three of you stare intently at the surveillance footage. For an acrobatics act, this clip sure is some top-tier entertainment.
- (Unlock Achievement Hunt to the Ends, Territorial Principle, or Tangled Web of Enmity, depending on player choice)
- (Mission complete)
- (Post mission dialogues)
- Tingyun: I must take my leave from Planarcadia now. May your travels be safe and may our paths cross again soon.
- Silver Wolf: You are starting to sound more and more like Madam Yao. I guess her personality has finally soaked in.
