Churin (Russian: Чурин Churin) is a quest-exclusive NPC who appears in the Hidden Exploration Objective Apprentice Sculptor, Martial Master and can be challenged as a Local Legend after.
Profile
Churin is a Domovoy who studied Prime Ice sculpting under Bragin, a Volkodlak master sculptor. Bragin prioritized the completion of works in the shortest possible time, and his training mostly focused on physical conditioning and technique. Naturally, Churin's days of hard work as an apprentice did little to cultivate any artistic sensibility, but he soon discovered he had become the best fighter among all the apprentices.[1]
When the Traveler stumbled upon Bragin's workshop while wandering Snezhnaya, the trio were surprised to see visitors and Bragin decided to commission them to spar with him and his disciples to get some inspiration. After besting both Fadeev and Bragin, Bragin had Churin fight them, much to the Domovoy's surprise. Churin proved to be a far more capable fighter than the two of them, but the Traveler bested him too, leading Churin to proclaim that they "really were an adventurer" and found the experience exhilarating. Bragin asked the Traveler to return from time to time to spar with Churin, stating that it would do him good.
