Dialogue
Columbina seems to have something she wants to do in the Silvermoon Hall...
- (Enter Silvermoon Hall)
- Columbina: Haha... Ah, that tickles.
- Columbina: Ah! Shh...
- (Approach the large moon-like structure)
- Paimon: Columbina?
- Paimon: Huh. That's odd. Paimon's positive she heard Columbina's voice...
- Columbina: ...Hyah!
- Paimon: Aaaah!
- Columbina: Greetings.
- Paimon: Another jumpscare? Not cool! If you were here, you should've just said so!
- Columbina: I thought that since you were already so familiar with this game, I should increase the difficulty this round...
- Paimon: Hmph! Paimon's gonna get you next time, just you wait!
- Columbina: Great! I look forward to it.
What happened to your eye mask, Columbina?- Columbina: Oh. I guess the kuuhenki must've swiped it when we were playing earlier.
- (The camera shows two kuuhenki flying past them)
- Columbina: I don't usually need to use my eyes, so the mask makes little difference. Let them play with it if they like.
- Paimon: Oh! On that note, don't you want to go out more often?
You no longer need to hide from anyone, right?- Columbina: Yes... I have plenty of time now. I can go where I wish, when I wish.
- Columbina: However, I was concerned that you might worry if you came looking for me but found that I had left without saying goodbye.
In this kind of situation...
You can just leave a note.- Paimon: Yeah! After all, we only need to know that you're okay.
- Columbina: I see. I will consider it, then.
- Paimon: You'll only "consider" it...?
Or maybe this is just where you want to be.- Columbina: Everything that has happened here... I find them to be happy memories.
- Columbina: That said, I do have another reason for waiting for you here.
- Paimon: And what's that?
- Columbina: To give you a pleasant surprise.
- Paimon: Wow! This must be the place you were talking about, right? Paimon wasn't there last time, so she didn't get to see it.
It truly is lovely.- Paimon: Can Paimon fly around and check it out?
- Columbina: Of course.
- Columbina: If it pleases you, I could bring you back again someday.
- Paimon: So, this is the "pleasant surprise," then?
- Columbina: Oh? So this is enough to pass as a "pleasant surprise" in your eyes? No, the real surprise is yet to come.
There's more?- Columbina: Come. Let us paint.
- Paimon: Wait. Here? But Paimon doesn't see canvas, brushes, or paints anywhere.
- Columbina: Oh. That's simple.
- Columbina: The water's surface is our canvas, the moonlight our brushes, and the paths we take shall serve as the brushstrokes.
- Columbina: With the moon's reflection to guide us, pure thought shall flow beneath our feet.
When an event is triggered while painting, the following voiceover lines associated with that event will be played.
- (Columbina begins painting on her side)
- Columbina: Yes, good. That's the way.
- Columbina: Come, let us walk together awhile.
- (Condition missing)
- Columbina: Take your time to prepare. I'll be waiting.
- (If the player walks over to Columbina's side of the painting)
- Columbina: The lines I'd like you to draw are on the other side. Hmm. Is my moon leading you wrong?
- (After the player catches up to Columbina on their side)
- Columbina: When the traveler advances, the moon walks by (his/
her) side.
- (If the player stops moving)
- Columbina: Where the traveler stops, the moon, too, rests its feet.
- (Condition missing)
- Columbina: Looking at me, perhaps?
- (As Columbina completes her side of the painting)
- Columbina: There. It is finished.
- (After completing the painting)
- Luonnotar: ...!
- Paimon: Luonnotar! It's really you! You're back! In the silvery flesh! Paimon thought she'd never see you again!
The painting we drew...- Columbina: We used moonlight to trace this child's form, and I poured new power and new blessings therein, causing her to be reborn.
- Columbina: She no longer needs to bear my spirit. Her will is hers alone.
- (Luonnotar spots the three of them)
- Luonnotar: !!!
- (She flies over to both Paimon and the Traveler; then the Traveler starts petting her)
- Paimon: Ah, she's flying over!
- Columbina: Yes. I have awakened all the memories of the time you spent together.
- Luonnotar: ...! ...!
- Paimon: *sniff* Paimon's so glad to have you back, Luonnotar. She promises to be nicer to you from now on...
- Paimon: Paimon wasn't expecting the surprise to be this pleasant... Paimon loves it!
Thank you, Columbina.- Columbina: It wasn't much. I, too, am glad to see her again.
- (Luonnotar nods, then flies over to Columbina)
- [sic] Luonnotar: ...!
- (Columbina hugs Luonnotar)
- Columbina: ...
- (Traveler): (She's still very attached to Luonnotar, but her expression is different from before.)
- (Traveler): (She looks at Luonnotar not as merely a created familiar, but as a familiar friend.)
- Columbina: Go. You must miss them, surely.
- (Luonnotar flies back over to Paimon and the Traveler)
- Luonnotar: ...!
- Columbina: You're welcome to come back any time.
- (They return back to Silvermoon Hall)
- (Quest completes)
- (Talk to Columbina or Luonnotar, optional)
- Columbina: Now, I know how fond you are of them, but let's not cause them any trouble now, alright?
- Columbina: Come back here to rest, should you find yourself tired from playing outside.
- Luonnotar: ...!
