Crown of Insight

Crown of Insight is a Character Talent Material used, along with other materials, to level a Combat Talent from a base level of 9 to 10. Additional talent levels from Constellations or Utility Passives do not affect the base level nor upgrade cost.

How to Obtain

Crowns of Insight can be obtained from Offering Systems, purchased from Paimon's Bargains, or rewarded from Limited Time Events. Additionally, one is obtainable from the debut performance rewards in the Imaginarium Theater.

A total of 110 Crowns of Insight (84 without Paimon's Bargains) have been obtainable since the launch of the game.

1 Crown of Insight can be purchased each month from Paimon's Bargains for Masterless Starglitter ×50.

1 Crown of Insight can be obtained by reaching Act 10 in the Imaginarium Theater for the first time.

28 Crowns of Insight are permanently obtainable through Offerings:

1× from upgrading the Frostbearing Tree's Gratitude to Level 11.
5× from upgrading the Sacred Sakura to Levels 5, 15, 25, 35, and 45.
1× from upgrading the Lumenstone Adjuvant to Level 4.
5× from upgrading the Tree of Dreams to Levels 5, 15, 25, 35, and 45.
5× from upgrading the Fountain of Lucine to Levels 5, 15, 25, 35, and 45.
1× from upgrading the Votive Rainjade to Level 3.
5× from upgrading the Tablet of Tona to Levels 5, 15, 25, 35 and 45.
3× from upgrading the Meeting Points: Final Night Cemetery, The Witch's Garden and Cliffwatch Camp.
1× from upgrading the Temple of Space: Memory Core to Level 3.
1× from upgrading the Ancient Moon's Remnant: "Curtain-Form Blackbody Containment Lab" to Levels 3.

2 Crowns of Insight are currently obtainable from Limited Time Events:

25 Crowns of Insight were obtainable from Paimon's Bargains, one each month, beginning from Version 5.0 in August 2024.

56 Crowns of Insight were obtainable from Limited Time Events, with 1× Crown of Insight available per event:

The Crown of Insight is only needed when leveling a talent from Level 9 to Level 10 (in addition to the usual Character Talent Materials).

Upgrading a Talent to base Level 10 is colloquially referred to as "crowning" a talent.
The symbol on the front of the crown is a triquetra, a recurring icon in Genshin Impact.
