Doddamani is an event-exclusive NPC who appeared in the Tracing Vanishing Trails.
Profile
Doddamani is a ship owner from Sumeru and experienced transporter of goods. He is one of the Dark Financier's subordinates.
Alongside the antique connoisseur Corder, he eavesdropped on Yelan and Edler, an officer from the Maison Gardiennage, who were jointly leading a cross-nation investigation into the Dark Financier. As Doddamani and Corder were among the only subordinates that could meet directly with the Dark Financier, Yelan and Edler had deliberately allowed them to escape in order to further the investigation.
In order to conceal their criminal activities, they plotted to blow up the cargo they had planned to auction off next with the help of a Liyuean Treasure Hoarder, Scamface. Yelan and the Traveler foil this plan by locating and disarming the bombs, forcing them to go ahead with the auction. Sumeru law enforcement authorities later captured him at Bayda Harbor for his role in the Mora-laundering enterprise.
