She is a mysterious person who claims to work for the Ministry of Civil Affairs, but comes out as a non-entity on their list. She also claims to work for the Yanshang Teahouse, but only uses it for her true job, an intelligence agent collaborating with Ningguang.

Normal Attack
Performs up to 4 consecutive shots with a bow.

Charged Attack
Perform a more precise Aimed Shot with increased DMG.
While aiming, flowing water will accumulate on the arrowhead. A fully charged torrential arrow will deal Hydro DMG.

Breakthrough
Yelan will enter a "Breakthrough" state after spending 5s out of combat, which will cause her next Charged Aimed Shot to have 80% decreased charge time, and once charged, she can fire a "Breakthrough Barb" that will deal AoE Hydro DMG based on Yelan's Max HP.

Plunging Attack
Fires off a shower of arrows in mid-air before falling and striking the ground, dealing AoE DMG upon impact.

When Breakthrough is ready, the bracelet on Yelan's right hand will glow.

Fires off a Lifeline that allows her to move rapidly, entangling and marking opponents along its path.
When this rapid movement ends, the Lifeline will explode, dealing Hydro DMG to the marked opponents based on Yelan's Max HP.

Tap
Moves a certain distance forward swiftly.

Hold
Engages in continuous, swift movement, during which Yelan's resistance to interruption is increased.
During this time, Yelan can control this rapid movement and end it by using this Skill again.

Additionally, each opponent marked by the Lifeline when it explodes grants Yelan a 34% chance to reset her Breakthrough state.

If this skill is held, the cooldown does not start until Yelan's rapid movement ends.
When this skill hits at least one enemy, it generates 4 Elemental Particles.
The skill key/button does not need to remain pressed once the hold version of this skill triggers (takes about 1 second).
The Lifeline pulls opponents towards Yelan when it explodes.
When Yelan's Breakthrough state is reset by this talent, a visual indicator will appear above her head.
When Lingering Lifeline is held, the Elemental Skill icon changes.
Yelan is still affected by Movement Speed when this skill is held.
When Yelan's Lifeline marks an opponent, being staggered, jumping, sprinting, using a Normal Attack, or pressing the Elemental Skill button again will cause it to explode.
Voice-overs for Lingering Lifeline will only play if at least one target is successfully marked.

Constellation Effects

Constellation Level 1, Enter the Plotters: "Lingering Lifeline gains 1 additional charge."
Constellation Level 4, Bait-and-Switch: "Increases all party members' Max HP by 10% for 25s for every opponent marked by Lifeline when the Lifeline explodes. A maximum increase of 40% Max HP can be attained in this manner."

Exquisite Throw
Follows the character around and will initiate a coordinated attack under the following circumstances, dealing Hydro DMG based on Yelan's Max HP:

Can occur once every second when your active character uses a Normal Attack.
Will occur each time Yelan's Lifeline explodes and hits opponents.

Coordinated Attack DMG follows an Internal Cooldown of 2 seconds/3 hits.
Exquisite Throw DMG does not snapshot and will be affected by changes in Yelan's stats after Depth-Clarion Dice is cast.
If Lingering Lifeline is used the maximum amount of times during Exquisite Throw, Exquisite Throw can fire up to 17 times at Constellation Level 0, and 18 times at Constellation Level 1.

Passive Effects

Passive Talent 2, Adapt With Ease: "So long as an Exquisite Throw is in play, your own active character deals 1% more DMG. This increases by a further 3.5% DMG every second. The maximum increase to DMG dealt is 50%. The pre-existing effect will be dispelled if Depth-Clarion Dice is recast during its duration."

Constellation Effects

Constellation Level 2, Taking All Comers: "When Exquisite Throw conducts a coordinated attack, it will fire an additional water arrow that will deal 14% of Yelan's Max HP as Hydro DMG. This effect can trigger once every 1.8s."
Constellation Level 3, Beware the Trickster's Dice: Increases this talent's level by 3, up to a maximum of 15.
Constellation Level 6, Winner Takes All: "After using Depth-Clarion Dice, Yelan will enter the Mastermind state. In this state, all of Yelan's Normal Attacks will be special Breakthrough Barbs. These Breakthrough Barbs will have similar abilities to normal ones and the DMG dealt will be considered Charged Attack DMG, dealing 156% of a normal Breakthrough Barb's DMG. The Mastermind state lasts 20s and will be cleared after Yelan fires 5 arrows."

So long as an Exquisite Throw is in play, your own active character deals 1% more DMG. This increases by a further 3.5% DMG every second. The maximum increase to DMG dealt is 50%.
The pre-existing effect will be dispelled if Depth-Clarion Dice is recast during its duration.

Damage bonus gained by this passive has the following attributes:
- Is calculated based on the duration of Depth-Clarion Dice and will remain at its stacked value even when swapping active characters.
- Is additive with other DMG% bonuses.
- Is a direct buff, therefore cannot be snapshotted, but also will apply to abilities that have already snapshotted.

Character Description

Yelan's Elemental Skill allows her to move rapidly using her Lifeline, latching onto and marking opponents along the path. When her rapid move ends, she will deal Hydro DMG to marked targets. Hold this skill to freely control her movement direction.
When the Lifeline explodes, Yelan has a fixed chance to reset her Breakthrough state, which will buff her next Charged Shot, based on the number of opponents marked.
Yelan's Elemental Burst deals AoE Hydro DMG and will create the Exquisite Throw to assist your active character in combat.
