Haniyyah is an an open-world NPC located in Bayda Harbor, Lokapala Jungle, Dharma Forest, Sumeru. She first appeared in Fabulous Fungus Frenzy.
Profile
Haniyyah is a famous professional beast tamer in Sumeru, currently on a long-term endeavor with Souka to aid in the research of fungi behavior and traits, along with their capacity to form bonds with humans.
Appearance
Haniyyah has brown eyes, pink hair and medium skin. In her first appearance of Fabulous Fungus Frenzy, she wears the outfit of an Eremite Axe Vanguard with her hair braided.
In the Lil' Fungi's Fun-Tastic Fiesta and Sightseeing With Friends Events, Haniyyah wears a purple ball gown with a color matching feathered hat topped with a blue rose. Her hair has grown longer and more wavey.
Story
In her youth, Haniyyah grew to despise fungi due to regularly hearing stories about her ancestors nearly getting killed by a group of berserk fungi. She used to work for the Eremites training Sumpter Beasts as beasts of burden. Due to her expertise, she was hired by the organizers of the Nilotpala Cup Beast Tamers Tournament to test the capabilities of the Wisdom Orb, where she acquired a Whirling Pyro Fungus and initially called it "Pyro-1" for simplicity. She then fought the Traveler in the finals but ultimately lost to them.
After Paimon and the Traveler took over as hosts of the tournament, following Elchingen's arrest, Haniyyah took the domesticated fungi and the competitors' Wisdom Orbs for safekeeping until the next tournament, even renaming her Whirling Pyro Fungus to "Kindlejoy" from her new found compassion for them.
Haniyyah would later head to Fontaine with Souka in order to find investors for an official tournament and increase awareness of the positive aspects of fungi.
Currently, Haniyyah has been mentioned as a "beast tamer" by Nusta[3] and by Eija[4] as an author of "An Introduction to the Principles of Beast Taming".
