Homeward, He Who Caught the Wind

Dialogue Set #1

Available after completing Homeward, He Who Caught the Wind (Quest) as one-time dialogue

Hedwig: Still feel like it could've gone a bit further... The Acting Grand Master's sword pressure could've felt more imposing. Ideally, it would've felt as if a single slash could split a mountain in two, then it would truly live up to her name, the Lionfang Knight!
Kaeya: From a morale standpoint, I agree. But in terms of presentation, I'd say the current level of artistic refinement is already more than enough.
Horken: When she agreed to let us put her image into the mini-game, I doubt she expected us to go this over the top.
(Paimon arrives with the Traveler in tow)
Paimon: Hey! What are you two chatting about?
Kaeya: Oh, perfect timing! Honorary Knight, Paimon, want to try out the Cavalry Company's "Knightly Play"?
Icon Dialogue Talk White Why does it have "knightly" in the name?
Icon Dialogue Talk White How's it different from a normal play?
Hedwig: Basically, it's a kind of live combat experience, mixing Mondstadt-style costumes and sets with Fontaine's film tech.
Hedwig: Once you step onto the set, you'll fight powerful enemies and get a taste of that larger-than-life heroism you hear about in stories.
Hedwig: As for the "knightly" part, in battle, once your faith reaches a certain point, you can summon a shadow of the Lionfang Knight.
Hedwig: This will allow you to use "Dandelion Sword Pressure" to send waves of wind sweeping across the battlefield, felling evil foes like leaves scattering before a storm!
Paimon: Huh? The Lionfang Knight... Isn't that Jean...?
Paimon: It sounds like you two really look up to her.
Kaeya: Haha, indeed. This project was originally meant to be a simple opportunity for friendly sparring. Returning knights need a chance to relax, but if they don't practice, they'll soon lose their edge in battle.
Kaeya: But then Hedwig came up with the idea of adding "The Shadow of the Lionfang Knight" to spice things up a little bit. I thought it sounded fun, so I helped put in a few words from the sidelines.
Hedwig: We really owe it to Captain Kaeya... The expedition's been away so long, I just wanted everyone to see how much stronger the Acting Grand Master has become.
Hedwig: Her administrative skills are flawless, and her combat skills have reached heights us regular knights can only dream of.
Paimon: Wow, that's so thoughtful of you, Hedwig!
Paimon: Paimon's super curious to know what "Dandelion Sword Pressure" looks like!
Icon Dialogue Talk White Paimon and I want to try out this play!
Icon Dialogue Talk White Let's witness the "Shadow of the Lionfang Knight" in action!
Horken: I feel relieved knowing you two are here in the audience for our Knightly Play. If you'll just follow me over here...
Kaeya: I hope you enjoy the interactive performance!

Dialogue Set #2

Available after completing Homeward, He Who Caught the Wind (Quest)

Hedwig: Have you experienced the Knightly Play, Honorary Knight? Did you see Commander Gunnhil— sorry, the Acting Grand Master's heroic visage? I'd love to talk more about it with you!
Icon Dialogue Talk White About the Shadow of the Lionfang Knight...
Hedwig: Impressive, isn't it? When it comes to swordsmanship, the Acting Grand Master is, to my mind, completely unmatched.
Hedwig: Captain Kaeya already knows this, but Horken probably doesn't. Before I was transferred away from the Cavalry Company, Commander Gunnhildr saved my life. Twice!
Hedwig: Back then, she wasn't the Acting Grand Master. Even though she was still young, she could already get the better of almost every other knight — even the grizzled veterans.
Hedwig: But she couldn't beat that thrice-damned Inspector... The traitor, Eroch.
Hedwig: ...Ugh, I'll admit it, he really was something else — a real dangerous opponent. He could hold his own against Commander Gunnhildr, going round after round without a backward step.
Hedwig: If it had been me? Two strikes and I'd have been on the floor.
Icon Dialogue Talk White I remember hearing something about this Inspector before...
Hedwig: *sigh* People are complicated — the older knights say he wasn't a bad sort when he was first recruited.
Icon Dialogue Talk White We've never heard of him, but you make him sound pretty dreadful...
Hedwig: A villain wearing a mask of civility, that's my take. If this were an adventure story... He'd be the kind of dangerous, difficult-to-deal-with villain that turns up in the middle chapters.
Hedwig: Driven by a strong desire for wealth and power, he was corrupted and led astray — quietly involving himself in all sorts of unsavory schemes. His intelligence and skill at arms only compounded the danger he posed.
Hedwig: Anyone smart enough to match him in strategy usually had no hope of beating him in one-on-one combat. And those few commanders who could outmatch him blade to blade were often too busy with their official duties... which gave him all the room for maneuver he needed.
Hedwig: Thinking about it now — that sapphire ring he took as a bribe on its own was worth a whole year's wages for fifteen knights! Think of how many defense works or public projects that could've funded...
Hedwig: And that smug, grating voice of his... Ugh, it makes my blood boil just thinking about it!
Icon Dialogue Talk White Get a hold of yourself...
Icon Dialogue Talk White What's done is done...
Hedwig: Right... right. Stay calm, Hedwig...
Hedwig: Thankfully, in their second official duel, Commander Gunnhildr dominated that slimeball!
Hedwig: Ha... No more than expected from Commander Gunnhildr... Acting Grand Master and the most formidable sword fighter of the Knights!
Icon Dialogue Talk White Why do you only ever call Jean by her surname?
Hedwig: Because it's a name steeped in honor! For many knights my age, that name shaped us more than words can express!
Hedwig: We grew up on stories of the Alder Knight. Inspired by her deeds, we strove to become Knights of Favonius, and were lucky enough to one day serve alongside the Lionfang Knight, giving our blood and sweat to Mondstadt's defense...
Hedwig: It makes me feel like I could become part of a legend someday! I've been fortunate in this life — I can die in battle without regrets!
Icon Dialogue Talk White Don't say things like that!
Icon Dialogue Talk White Could you not say something happier?
Hedwig: Haha, don't you worry about me. If this world works anything like a stage play, that sort of talk'll guarantee me a long and peaceful life...
Hedwig: As soon as you make a loud declaration about dying a terrible death, the opposite is sure to happen. You'll see, I'll still be here when my hair's gone white.
Icon Dialogue Talk White Let me give it another go...
Hedwig: Sure, knock yourselves out!

Final Long-Range Sightlines

Dialogue Set #1

Available after completing Sightlines and Camera Tricks, but before completing Flower, Feathers, and Bullets.

Hedwig: Frankly, I never expected the Honorary Knight to come and join this wargame as well. The setup here is quite the production...
Icon Dialogue Talk White Friend, what other work do you do?
Hedwig: ..."Designated scapegoat"...
Hedwig: Joking, joking! Truth is, it's all classic clerical work. Whatever comes up, I'm the one running negotiations between the Knights, the Palais Mermonia, and the Natlanese warriors.
Hedwig: It cuts down on the friction cost of having too many people going back and forth.
Hedwig: Procedural matters during cooperation also fall to me to handle. And I manage the overall travel-and-expenses budget for the exchange team...
Icon Dialogue Talk White That sounds rough.
Icon Dialogue Talk White Best of luck to you, then.
Hedwig: Well, here we are meeting, aren't we? And then there's our legendary marksman, Captain Chevreuse of the Special Patrol — known to put rounds within a one-arc-minute dispersion at a thousand paces...
Hedwig: And then there's the not-evaluable-by-normal-standards Saurian-rider Chasca — her marksmanship is so absurdly precise it's like she's got stabilizer mechanisms built into her hands.
(Hedwig laughs)
Hedwig: No matter how messy or exhausting the work gets, I'm coming out way ahead. They could pay me a negative salary, and it'd still be worth it!
Hedwig: Plus, I've been finding the musket suits me rather well. After my injury, I'd given up hope of fighting with a sword again...
Hedwig: As it turned out, in the wargame I borrowed Koch's musket and had a few goes at the scenarios — the results were pretty respectable. Maybe I'll be able to return to the front lines with this weapon someday!
Icon Dialogue Talk White The crowd doesn't seem all that big, though?
Hedwig: By the standards of the early technical exchange meetings, this is a serious turnout! It's a mixed deployment from the Ranged, Support, and General Affairs Companies!
Hedwig: And if our good Vice Captain of the Fifth Company hadn't begged off with some peculiar excuse, the Knights' presence alone would be enough to wipe out a sizable monster outfit.
Hedwig: To say nothing of the Fontaine Captain and the Natlanese Saurian-riders we've got here as well!
Icon Dialogue Talk White Don't let me keep you. I'll be off.
(Hedwig laughs)
Hedwig: You're the busy one — being so polite to me, I'm flattered!

Dialogue Set #2

Available after completing Flower, Feathers, and Bullets.

Koch: Almost done for the day... fancy a couple of drinks at The Rusty Rudder over there?
Hedwig: Drinks!? You'd be paying out of your own pocket, then? I'm not approving a single Mora for it.
Koch: All good — we'll cover it ourselves, and bring a few good bottles back for Horken, Ursula, and Gunther! Oh, and Captain Kaeya and the Grand Master too!
Hedwig: Count me out, regardless. I've got to organize the records from this wargame properly, and the Ranged Company has to leave someone behind to help me!
Hedwig: And there's the Special Patrol's written documentation for the Grand Master, the study-exchange plan... we've gone and made another fine start to something without even meaning to!
