Hidimbi is a quest-exclusive NPC who appears in the Hidden Exploration Objective The Flagship Bounty Board.
Profile
Hidimbi is a scam artist from Sumeru who was active in Nod-Krai for at least a few months before the present. She is listed as a fortune teller on the Flagship Bounty Board, and is suspected of "laying curses" and high-value fraud.
Her victims include Netochka, to whom she sold a toolkit at a "heartbreaking discount,"[1] the Frostmoon Scions, some of whom she fooled as a fake priestess,[2] and Ehrnrooth, who she scammed out of hundreds of thousands of Mora.[3] She also met Maite at some point and fed her dubious stories about the Frostmoon Scions,[4] and spread rumors about recent sightings of the supposedly-sunken Atlas out at sea.[5]
When the Traveler meets her, she is in the middle of convincing Vieri to invest 1,500,000 Mora on a "secret" tip about a Proof of the Cognoscenti. She then tries to sell a "special strength tonic" to Paimon for the "discounted" price of 1,000,000 Mora. When Vieri blabs about the plan to the Traveler, Hidimbi becomes enraged and attacks them. After her defeat, she implies that she turned to a life of crime after past experiences with unsavory people in Sumeru, then contemplates changing careers. As she departs, she tells the Traveler and Paimon to come find her if they ever need a similar "wake-up call,” and leaves behind a piece of her red satin.
Appearance
She takes the appearance of an Eremite Floral Ring-Dancer.

Etymology
- Hiḍimbī, also known as Hiḍimbā (Sanskrit: हिडिम्बा), is a character in the Mahabharata, one of the two great Sanskrit epics of ancient India. She is introduced as a man-eating Rakshasi (demoness) and the sister of Hidimba, a powerful demon who ruled a forested region. In the narrative, Hidimbi is tasked by her brother to deceive the exiled Pandava brothers—the main characters of the epic—but instead falls in love with Bhima, second of the five Pandava brothers.
