Netochka

Netochka (Russian: Неточка Netochka) is a quest-exclusive NPC who features in the World Quest The Shoemaker's Children Go Barefoot in Series East of the Moon, West of the Sun. She hails from the Snezhnayan city of Novokitezhgrad, where her father Stalanov is the Police Chief.
After completing the quest, she can be found in Speranza, Nasha Town, Lempo Isle, Nod-Krai. She disappears shortly after the player talks to her there.

Netochka is introduced as a thief who snuck into the Kuuvahki Experimental Design Bureau to steal the Proof of the Cognoscenti that the Fatui uncovered. Rather than having extensive practical experience as an outlaw, however, Netochka merely idolizes Reed Miller — or rather, the fictionalized accounts of his life — and wants to gain a sense of accomplishment by stealing something from the unpopular Fatui.
As it so happens, the Poruchik overseeing the Design Bureau is an old acquaintance of hers — Raskolnikov, who was her father's best student back in Novokitezhgrad. Back then, while Netochka admired Raskolnikov's abilities, she also resented that her father preferred training Raskolnikov and his other trainees over raising her. Raskolnikov, however, sees her as Stalanov's "precious daughter" and criticizes her for never realizing how lucky she is. His unexpected voluntary surrender of the Proof, as well as the discovery that the Traveler has had many dealings with the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, causes Netochka to reflect on her desire to become a "main character."[1]
