It is said that a free-for-all fighting tournament is held in an unknown guild hall near Inazuma City, and that mortals and monsters alike who enjoy combat can take part in it. This tournament is known as Hyakunin Ikki. Form tag teams of two characters and elegantly show off your prowess as a warrior. Get ready to turn the heat up!
Hyakunin Ikki (Japanese: 百人一揆 "Hundred-Man Riot") is an Event in Version 2.1.
During the event, take part in the free-for-all fighting tournament "Hyakunin Ikki" and show off your elegant combat skills by defeating opponents in tag teams of two characters. By reaching the target scores, Travelers can obtain rewards such as the event-exclusive namecard style "Celebration: Ikki," Primogems, and more.
There are a total of six challenges in "Hyakunin Ikki," and a new challenge will be unlocked each day for the first six days of the event.
During these challenges, you can use either the trial characters provided or your own characters to form 6 tag teams of two characters, and give each tag team an event-exclusive Garyuu Art.
Garyuu Arts can provide buffs to the team on the field. Each team can be equipped with up to 2 Garyuu Arts.
The challenge requires you to defeat opponents to score points within a limited time. Reach a specified high score in each challenge stage to obtain Primogems, Talent Level-Up Materials, Hero's Wit, Mystic Enhancement Ore, Mora, and other rewards. Accumulate the highest score in all stages and reach the specified value to obtain the namecard style "Celebration: Ikki."
Cannot start the challenge while in Co-Op Mode.
Elemental Resonances will not take effect during Hyakunin Ikki challenges, nor will you be able to use food or other items.
Although there are no rewards for completing a given challenge with over 2000 points, a platinum medal () will be obtained instead of a gold medal () if you score at least 3000 points.
Tutorial
The Hyakunin Ikki follows special combat rules. Characters must be divided into 6 teams, and each team can have a maximum of 2 characters and 2 Garyuu Arts. Additionally, you can not only switch characters during this challenge, but also switch teams. Switching teams will cycle through teams in order of when they were formed.
Every 10s, you can use the Relay skill to switch to the next team. If one team stays on the field for too long, their combat ability will decrease drastically. Switching teams will clear most of the effects that the previous team left behind. Moreover, if all members of any one team fall, the challenge will fail.
When you switch teams and defeat opponents, you will accumulate Fervor. When Fervor builds up to a specific extent, you will increase the level of your Ferocious Fervor, which will provide bonuses in battle. But if you fail to perform spectacularly in combat and continuously build up Fervor, the Ferocious Fervor you have obtained will also dissipate...
During this challenge, you must defeat opponents that constantly emerge to obtain points within the allotted time. Of those opponents, Nemeses will provide more points. Once the challenge ends, you will gain different insignias based on the number of points you gained.
All Trial Characters are at Level 80 with fixed weapons and artifacts.
