Item

Items in Genshin Impact are individual objects or units that players can obtain. Most items can be accessed from the Inventory or Archive, while some others can only be seen in Menus.

Inventory Categories

• Weapons - Equipment used by characters to attack. Includes swords, claymores, polearms, catalysts and bows.

• Weapon Enhancement Materials - Items that provide Weapon EXP used to enhance Weapons.

• Artifacts - Equipment used to increase the attributes or stats of characters.

• Artifact Enhancement Materials - Items that provide Artifact EXP used to enhance Artifacts.

• Character Development Items - Items used to upgrade characters and weapons.
• Food - Items that can be consumed to heal, revive and buff characters or the party.

• Potions - Items that can add buffs to the Party.

• Materials - Items found in the world used to upgrade characters or create other items.
• Gadgets - Generally reusable tools used by the player to interact with the world, along with some mementos and special items.
• Quest Items - Items obtained during Quests to keep or submit elsewhere.
• Precious Items - Rare items, which includes keepsakes, special consumables, items that serve special functions, and items that can be exchanged or submitted elsewhere.
• Furnishings - Objects that can be placed in the Serenitea Pot.

• Forging Materials - Materials used in forging.
  • Billets - Materials used to forge certain weapons.
  • Forging Ores - General forging material.
• Local Specialties - Materials that are primarily found in a particular region in Teyvat.
• Cooking Ingredients - Items that can be used to create food through cooking.
• Fishes - Can be processed and cooked, or exchanged.
• Baits - Items used to catch different types of fish.

Gadgets

• Fishing Rods - Tools used for Fishing.
• Music Gadgets - Musical instruments.
• Oculus Resonance Stones - Tools used to locate Oculi in their associated regions.
• Treasure Compasses - Tools used to locate nearby chests.

Precious Items

• Adventure Items - Items found during exploration to be submitted elsewhere.
  • Oculi - Items that can be offered to Statues of The Seven or Statues of the New Moon.
  • Radiant Spincrystals - Items that can be used to unlock Soundtracks to be used as Realm Music in the Serenitea Pot.
  • Shrine of Depths Keys Items used to unlock Shrines of Depths.
• Blueprints
  • Crafting Blueprints
    • Formulas - Items used to learn how to craft the associated gadget and sometimes other items.
    • Instructions - Items used to learn how to make the associated fishing bait and sometimes other items.
  • Forging Blueprints/Diagrams - Items used to learn how to forge the associated weapon or gadget.
  • Furnishing Blueprints - Items used to learn how to craft the associated furnishing.
  • Furnishing Set Blueprints - Items used to learn how to craft the associated furnishing set.
• Bundles - Packs of items bought or earned.
• Recipes - Items used to learn how to cook the associated food.
• Reliquaries - Items used to obtain Artifacts.
• Resin - Consumables used to claim challenge rewards.
  • Condensed Resin

• Sigils - Items found during exploration unique to each region that can be exchanged.
• Very Special Items - Rare items which serve to commemorate an event or perform special actions.
  • Cake for Traveler Commemorative item given to the player on the Traveler's set birthday.
• Vouchers - Currencies used in the Paimon's Bargains shop.
  • Masterless Stardust

• Wishing Items - Currencies used to perform Wishes.

Other Items

• Currencies - Items used to exchange for other items.
  • Mora - The main currency used to purchase various items and upgrades.
• Chests - Objects found in the open world containing items.
• Consumables - Items that can only be used once.
• Original Resin - Item used to obtain rewards from Ley Line Blossoms and Irminsul Trees in Domains.
• Event Items - Items obtained during Events that usually expire at the end of the associated event.
• Minerals - Rocks and Ore.
• Avatars - Portraits used to display in the Player Profile.
• Namecards - Backgrounds used to display in the Player Profile.
• Story Keys - Item used to unlock Hangout Events.
• Constellation Activation Materials - Items used to activate Constellations of characters.
• Components - Objects placed during the Divine Ingenuity events.
