Tecuhtli can be found in the open-world after completing the World Quest Strange Encounter of the Tete Isle Kind.
Profile
Tecuhtli is a member of Captain Radius Bone Jack's crew. He was sent to the Easybreeze Holiday Resort to intercept Rekis's Asha trafficking operation.[1] During his time at the resort, he impersonates one of Me & Dew's greeters,[2] presumably to blend in and solicit information.
Captain Radius warns Tecuhtli about Icahua, a marksman working for Rekis,[3] but Icahua still manages to shoot out Tecuhtli's left eye. Tecuhtli has been hunting him ever since, intent on killing him in revenge.[4] At some point, Tecuhtli successfully doses Icahua with a poison that, according to him, would weaken his eyesight and eventually render him completely blind.[1]
Appearance
Tecuhtli is a burly man with pale skin, blue eyes, and dark brown hair in a middle-part. He dons a salmon-colored drapey shirt, white cropped pants with flower decals, and blue sandals, and accessorizes with cuff bracelets and a string necklace. A vine tattoo wraps around his right bicep, and a distinctive black eyepatch covers his left eye.

- Tecuhtli: Ahead, you'll find two of our bars, Me & Dew and The Dewdrop. I'm Tecuhtli, and it's my job to welcome guests!
- Tecuhtli: Oh? You're asking about my eyes? Hehe, well, there are three things every man has to cultivate in his life.
- Tecuhtli: First! A weathered body must bear at least one scar. Otherwise, there's no way to tell what trials and tribulations a man has faced, and he would appear to lack substance.
- Tecuhtli: Second! Scars must be covered with clothes or accessories, but only partially... Otherwise, no one would see that this man is special.
- Tecuhtli: And third...
Wait a second. I never even asked about your eyes...- Tecuhtli: Exactly! If others don't notice how special he is, the man must MAKE them notice by bringing it up!
- Thanks for the advice. What happened to your eyes?
- Tecuhtli: Hmph, this was the work of a hairless heathen. He left me with this mark, but I know he's somewhere on the island... and I'll be damned if I don't "thank" him for it later.
- Tecuhtli: After hearing my story, you're sure to want to take revenge on my behalf. But that's quite alright — though I should thank you for your kindness!
- Tecuhtli: Dear friend, in a summer this beautiful, nobody should be feeling sad!
- Tecuhtli: Please enjoy the welcome juice I've prepared for each and every guest, then enjoy your relaxing vacation.
