- If the player stops indwelling the Iktomisaur during step 3, quest progress will go back to step 2. Talking to Mualani will resume the quest from "You return, having indwelt an Iktomisaurus..."

- Mualani: You're here! Looks like the staff had to step out for a bit, but I've pretty much figured out how to take it for a spin... ahem, yeah, for testing purposes!
- Paimon: Great, then show us the ropes!
- Mualani: Basically, one person rides the boat while the other sends signals to the saurian staff. Working as a team, the aim is to safely guide the boat to its destination.
- Mualani: So I'm pretty confident — 'cause when it comes to teamwork, (Traveler) and I have it down to a T!
- Paimon: Oh really? Well, don't get too confident, or you might end up capsizing...
- Mualani: Whoa, Paimon, don't go around jinxing people!
- Paimon: Okay, okay... Then Paimon wishes you... smooth sailing?
- Mualani: Hehe, that goes without saying.
- Mualani: I'm actually kind of in the mood to ride the boat. I'm used to tough surfing challenges, so it'll be fun to switch it up!
I'm kinda tired of the Waverider too.- I'll take care of the signals.
- Mualani: See, we're in perfect sync already! That's gotta be proof of our bond, huh?

- Saurian Staff Test Run: Cruise Ship
When the saurian staff have finished preparing, you can ring the bell to instruct them to activate the wave machine. The Chompy Chompy Shark will rise to the surface at intervals. Carefully time the waves to guide the cruise ship through the shark's mouth and increase compatibility with the playtesters.
When the cruise ship reaches its destination, if the testers' compatibility is sufficiently high, the facility's trial run will be viewed as a success!

Drag the camera to face the preparing saurian staff and, when they're ready, ring the bell to instruct them to start operating the equipment.

Use the Spiritspeaking powers of the Iktomisaurus staff to create a Chompy Chompy Shark and wave machine at the designated locations to complete the cruise ship's sightseeing route.
