Velimiru is a quest-exclusive NPC who appears in the Archon Quest Song of the Welkin Moon: Prelude - The Journey Home.
Profile
Velimiru was an artificial Fatuus created by the Fatui Harbinger Sandrone.[1]
Velimiru and his fellow Fatui members Fajeyi and Gulebu were a special ops team assigned by Sandrone to search for secret knowledge about all kinds of ancient civilizations to make some sort of unrevealed "inference." At some point, Velimiru's group took it upon themselves to impress Sandrone by going on a reconnaissance mission to Natlan in order to extract the vast knowledge possessed by the dragons. Upon trying to gain approval from Sandrone for this mission, Sandrone warned them that their plan could be dangerous, especially as they might encounter the Traveler, who she called an unpredictable variable, but she also didn't completely disapprove should they choose to go ahead with it.[4][1][5]
Velimiru and his group was able to infiltrate the Temple of Cascading Colors and take control of various Secret Source Automatons. Later, Velimiru and his group blackmailed Zhuoxin multiple times to lure Ineffa from Nod-Krai to Natlan, so that they could capture Ineffa in order to gain further access to Secret Source technology and the dragons' knowledge hidden somewhere in the temple.[1]
Eventually, Ix Raq'lapuj Chue'q Buluk crushed Velimiru and his fellow Fatui members between energy barriers, instantly killing Velimiru's comrades while heavily injuring him, the latter barely surviving due to being an artificial Fatuus. Once Ix Raq'lapuj Chue'q Buluk is damaged and deactivated by the Traveler and Ineffa, Velimiru uses his last remaining vitality to use his Secret Source controller that uses Sandrone's technology to reactivate Ix Raq'lapuj Chue'q Buluk, commenting that the outcome of their mission is otherwise underwhelming and will not get Sandrone's recommendation. To try to stop Velimiru from reactivating Ix Raq'lapuj Chue'q Buluk, the Traveler finishes Velimiru off with a fatal blow.[1]
Appearance
He looks like an ordinary person in a Fatui uniform; his hair falls over his right eye, and his eyes are blue.
