Elegy is an NPC on Penacony, located in Dreamflux Reef.
Profile
Elegy is a large humanoid puppet who is dressed to resemble a mourner. She claims to be a member of the Creed Exequy — followers of Finality. Her aim is to gather traces of Finality within memories of destroyed worlds, but recently she struck a deal with Dr. Edward to operate the Apocalyptic Shadow game mode in Dreamflux Reef on Penacony, wishing to seek traces of Terminus in the experiences of the Trailblazer's deadly struggles.[1] She also keeps the Memory Bubbles detailing the destruction of Zaum, Neese, and The Xianzhou Cangcheng in her collection. Whether she chronicled these events herself or simply has the Memory Bubbles in her possession is unknown.
She also resembles the puppets of The Past, Present, and Eternal Show, especially "Past Confined and Caged", as both stand on their headlands and have similar feet.

- Elegy: Zaum was once a border star system on an IPC logistic route.
- Elegy: Blessed by luck, a prophet emerged, bringing knowledge ahead of the star system's time to Zaum. Starting from then, they had been equipped with cutting-edge technology that put them on the negotiation table with the IPC.
- Elegy: Unbeknownst to the prophet, he had opened a Pandora's box.
- Elegy: The IPC wouldn't give any star system in their logistics chain any room for horse-trading. By way of assassination, sowing discord, and inciting division, the IPC turned the people of Zaum against each other.
- Elegy: Yet, war wasn't the only bane Zaum was facing. A gray tide that emerged out of nowhere started spreading like a plague. Two opposing political forces suspected each other of using forbidden supernatural weapons.
- Elegy: After some time, it came to the people's realization that the gray tide that left everything lifeless was a disease that afflicted all indiscriminately.
- Elegy: The truth is, the gray tide was a calamity caused by human folly. After the prophet altered history, the disappeared timelines condensed into a tsunami-like muddled memoria. Yet, no one was bold enough to directly address the underlying issue.
- Elegy: Even the assassination of the prophet wasn't enough to quell the chaos. A cavity filled with chaotic memoria appeared out of nowhere at the border between the two opposing forces.
- Elegy: There was no way to verify who first fired the missile. People only remember that the missile, originally intended to subdue the disaster of the memoria, became what started the prolonged war thereafter.
- Elegy: The war lasted for two Amber Eras. Eventually, the established nation was reduced to a mere geographical concept.
- Elegy: The world had overdrawn its fortune. It wasn't destroyed by the war but was drowned in the gray tsunami waves.
- Elegy: With obliteration looming large, people couldn't care less to point fingers. The only thing they were certain was that the beautiful world would be gone forever.

- Elegy: I'm a Creed Exequy — the chronicler of the dying world, as well as the seeker of the traces of Finality.

- Elegy: To welcome my fated encounter. Then, I'll ask the shapeless prince some questions.
- Elegy: "Why send warnings to the past if THEY want to end everything? Why bring about the apocalypse if THEY want to salvage everything? What is the meaning of our existence if everything is bound to be reduced to nothingness in the end?"

- Elegy: THEY are the god of Finality, traveling against time from the future. THEY appear at every moment of Finality, bringing prophecies of the future.

- Elegy: No. Finality causes amber to rupture, immortality to wither, music to mute, light arrows to dim, the Dark Sun to be reduced to ashes, and the Tavern to be covered in dust. Even Destruction itself cannot be spared from destruction.
- Elegy: Yet, Finality isn't the end of everything. All things will originate from there and move on to the next Finality.
