Investigate! Crime Scene is a sub-mission of Trailblaze Continuance The Opening Battle in the chapter Imagenae: Holy Grail War.

- This sub-mission is considered a challenge, and pressing Esc offers the option to "Pause and Save" or "Quit Completely" to exit.
- If "Quit Completely" is selected, the sub-mission may be restarted through the Mission menu.
- This mission requires the use of the Trailblazer, and provides them for use as a Story character.

Mission DescriptionBefore officially introducing the Imagenae Holy Grail War, I must first introduce you all to the protagonist of this Holy Grail War, I mean the protagonist of this galaxy aside from myself, (Trailblazer)...

- The display case is completely empty.
- The display label reads: "Pseudo 'Holy Grail.' A treasure claimed by (Trailblazer) during the Penacony Holy Grail War. It has since lost its ability to grant wishes and summon Heroic Spirits within a memoria environment."
Is something as valuable as the Holy Grail even insured?
- If you don't remember it, then it didn't happen.
- What I mean by "no guarantees" is: If it can't be recovered, nobody's paying you back.
- Who in their right mind would go out of their way to steal a Holy Grail?
- You have a long list in your mind of "who exactly the thief is"...
- But after considering some grown-up realities, you quickly narrowed it down: no one.
- Could this be... a clever little detail to trigger a collaboration?

- Sadly, this universe plays by strict rules — certain exceptions aside — and a little creative thinking is hardly enough to kick off a Holy Grail War.
- The security officers are overwhelmed and run off their feet, but their investigative prowess doesn't hold a candle to yours.
- If you want a job done right, you have to do it yourself... Better start the investigation immediately and track down the thief's whereabouts.

- It seems to possess a certain magic, capturing your gaze and gnawing at your curiosity.
- It said: "I am inextricably linked to the thief of the Holy Grail."
- Pick it up for a closer look.
- Maybe we'll turn up some clues.
- It's a trap!
- Your internal alarms are blaring, yet your hands, seasoned from years of scavenging, act of their own accord [sic]
