Observe the starting point, finish point, the direction of the arrow on the compass, and the distribution of red obstacles. Rotate the rings on the compass to reach the finish point without running into obstacles by following the arrow's directions upon leaving the starting point.

In "Cloudedge Bastion Ruins" Eye of Twilight, after the compass connects to the platform in the center, you need to select a route that passes through the surroundings to complete the setup. There may also be treasures along this route that passes through the surroundings.
