A compass that guides lost ships.
Turn the compass to align the inner and outer rings' Celestial Axis in the same direction to complete the navigation.

Navigation Compasses are a type of puzzle found on the Xianzhou Luofu. They are used to guide freight starskiffs into the jetty by aligning all three arrows to the left marker, bringing with it certain treasures.

Tutorial

Turn the compass to align the inner and outer rings' Celestial Axis to the same direction.

The Bright Astral Marks on the compass indicate the degree its Compass ring can rotate. For instance, one Bright Astral Mark would signify a 60° rotation per turn.

Two types of rotations exist: Clockwise and counterclockwise.

Lucky Compass Challenge

Navigation Compass can also be found within Adventure Domains in the Simulated Universe: Gold and Gears and the Divergent Universe as a Lucky Compass Challenge. These challenges differ from the standard puzzle, as the player must attempt to align the arrows by timing the stopping point with the different rotation speeds. Rewards vary depending on the number of arrows that are successfully aligned.

Interact with the compass to start the challenge. Press the Stop button and the currently marked ring will gradually stop spinning based on its rotation speed. When all the rings have stopped, the more hands pointed toward the same straight line, the better the rewards.

There is no time limit. The rotation speed of each ring is indicated by the number of dots on it.

Goals:

If no hand is pointed toward the same straight line: Tier 1 rewards
If 2 hands are pointed toward the same straight line: Tier 1+2 rewards
If 3 hands are pointed toward the same straight line: Tier 1+2+3 rewards

There is a chance‍^{[verification needed]} of different encounters in place of the chests:

Having 3 hands pointed toward the same straight line rewards the Achievement Wheel of Destiny in Simulated Universe: Gold and Gears.
