Mission Unthinkable (A) is the first part of the Chapter 2 Interlude of Phaethon's Story.

Episodes

The name of the chapter is probably a reference to the Mission: Impossible film series.
The Chinese name is most likely a reference to the 1997 Taiwanese drama series of the same name, known in English as Super Mission, although 非常任務 is also the translated title of the 1995 film Johnny Mnemonic.
In-game, the name of the chapter comes from the in-game movie of the same name about Public Security officers, "Mission Unthinkable"/"非常任务", which the sibling suggests giving Zhu Yuan and Qingyi a collector's edition of as a gift.
- In it, the main character goes against his superior and chooses to protect the citizens, just like what Zhu Yuan and Qingyi did. Though because accepting gifts is against PubSec regulations, Zhu Yuan expresses interest in buying the video instead.
