Closed Gate - Corruption is a Device Hollow Event. If the player is suffering from at least 1 Corruption, the gate can be opened by removing 1 of said Corruptions, however if the player is not suffering from any Corruption, the gate will need to be forced open, which will cause a penalty of receiving 1 Corruption.
Dialogue
- You come across a massive quarantine door covered in tiny crystallines, with a long decontamination tunnel attached. This gate seems abandoned and emits an eerie vibe of corruption.
- Looks like this gate was once used to eliminate Corruption risks... Will you dare to go through it?
- (If the player is suffering from at least 1 Corruption:)
Accept the quarantine scan.Removes a Corruption effect and opens the valve.- As the squad members enter the quarantine gate in order, the dim red light flickers, and a distorted voice echoes from the decontamination tunnel. "De... con... tami... nation..."
- Suddenly, a pungent spray gushes out from both sides of the tunnel, engulfing the squad instantly.
- The corruption from the Ether matter has amplified the potency and side effects of the decontamination spray, and your squad could really use some strong medicine!
- (Other options:)
- Break into the tunnel.Gains a Corruption effect and opens the valve.
- The squad members forcefully break into the tunnel, triggering a distorted and ear-piercing alarm in the decontamination tunnel. A stream of foul and pungent mist sprays towards them!
- The highly concentrated decontamination solution, affected by long-term Ether corruption, has turned into a noxious substance...
Leave for now.- ...Entering an abandoned quarantine tunnel seems a bit too risky. You decide to leave the gate alone.

Use the Accomplice's KeychainUnlock instantly at no cost- Jane seems to have forgotten to give you the manual alongside the keychain, but using your base intuition, you still manage to slot the keychain into a groove on the door — regardless of whether or not it belongs there. The door opens, as though you're the owner.
