[Restricted Area] Retroflux Zone, formerly named [Restricted Area] Backflow Zone, is an Investigation Zone in (Restricted Area) Booastrum. It becomes accessible during The Long Goodbye and is fully explorable after completing the commission.

Overview

The Retroflux Zone is a water treatment facility located under Gear Street. It serves as the primary base of operations for the En-Nah Gang, and while it is primarily accessed through Gear Street, it can also be entered via the Phone Booth at the Spotlight Theater, which teleports the player directly to the En-Nah Gang base. This area is also Remielle's residence.

Trivia

• This area was initially named "[Restricted Area] Backflow Zone" when Version 3.1 released. However, all instances of "Backflow Zone" were later changed to "Retroflux Zone."‍^{[update date unknown]}
  • This change only occurred in the English localization of the game, while all other languages retained their translations of the original name. Therefore, it can be assumed that "Backflow" was an erroneously literal translation of "Retroflux" and was changed to maintain consistency with all other instances of the place being referred to as the "Retroflux Zone" at release.^[1]
