Eye of Graeae (Gadget)

The Eye of Graeae is a multi-purpose gadget that can be used in Snezhnaya to manipulate Prime Ice, prevent damage from the region's cold climate, call the player's personal train, adjust equipment for operations in the Shadow Realm, and receive messages from the entity within the device.
It is obtained during the Archon Quest Into the Wind, Into the Frigid North in Chapter VII: Act I - Everwinter Without Mercy.
Overview
Fab-Vision
The Fab-Vision feature can be used to harvest Prime Ice and build/destroy Prime Ice Constructs in the open world. It can be activated by tapping the Fab-Vision button, which appears when the player is within Snezhnaya. Fab-Vision can be used while running, falling, and in combat, but not while gliding or swimming.
Prime Ice Resource & Kresnik Energy
The Eye of Graeae stores two types of physical resources: ![]()
Kresnik Energy and ![]()
Prime Ice Resource. Both are consumed when building Prime Ice Constructs, and Kresnik Energy is also consumed to prevent damage from Snezhnaya's climate.

×400. Kresnik Energy level is indicated by an orange bar above the active character's HP bar, while the amount of stored Prime Ice Resource can be viewed by activating Fab-Vision or opening the Prime Ice Construct Archive.
Messages from the Eye of Graeae
The Eye of Graeae will provide information about exploration features and quests in the form of text messages. Most messages will only appear after certain conditions are met.
Prime Ice Construct Archive
The archive lists information about Prime Ice Constructs that have been unlocked via blueprints.
Call Train
The train can be called from the Eye of Graeae's gadget interface when near any railway track. The target destination can be set by interacting with the Eye of Graeae on its pedestal at the front of the train.
Firearms & Tactical Gear Loadout
The Eye of Graeae's gadget interface displays the player's character stats and current firearm loadout for the Shadow Realm (third-person shooter) gameplay mode. The player can use it to adjust their weapon configuration, as well as the control and gyroscope settings for the third-person POV.
