Kresnik Energy is an energy resource unique to the Eye of Graeae gadget. It can be obtained by breaking Kresnik Kristall or interacting with related heat sources and wildlife.

The Eye of Graeae can consume Kresnik Energy to reduce damage from Snezhnaya's cold climate, build Prime Ice Constructs, and activate Mini Kresnik's Torches.

Overview

• Kresnik Energy will not be consumed when standing near a fire, Statue of The Seven, Teleport Waypoint, Domain entrance, Basic Heat Source, or Starlight Prism.
  • However, these will not restore any Kresnik Energy (except for Basic Heat Sources affected by a Polestar Field).
• Kresnik Energy will be consumed more quickly in colder climate zones and when standing near Tsar's White Birch (consumes ×2% per second).

How to Obtain

• Stand near a Mini Kresnik's Torch (×60% every 10s).
• Pick up free-standing Kresnik Energy orbs (×20% each).
  • Some Mini Kresnik's Torches will generate pickup orbs every ~10s in addition to their standard automatically-absorbing orbs.
  • Medium-sized Kresnik's Torches will generate pickup orbs every ~10s. However, some are decorative and will not generate any orbs.
  • Occasionally, Kresnik Energy orbs will spawn in the absence of any torch (e.g., as part of puzzles).
• Stand near a Basic Heat Source affected by a Polestar Field (×40% every 10s).
• Destroy Kresnik Kristall (×60% each).
• Catch Ledobugs or Kristall Bugs (×40%).
• Stand in a Polestar Field ( restored to 30% instantly).

Trivia

• In most cases, Kresnik Energy orbs appear to flow into a character's Vision, Moon Wheel, or Stellar Linchpin. Characters without a visible Vision, etc. will absorb them differently: ‍^{[What about Diluc's Red Dead of Night outfit?]}
