Sofya

Sofya Pavlovna Zaitseva (Russian: Софья Павловна Зайцева Sof'ya Pavlovna Zaytseva) is a quest-exclusive NPC who first appears in the World Quest Burn the Storehouses and the Stables in Series Mean Streets of the Despicable. She appears in the open world after completing the World Quest Disputes Without Honor and Humanity in Series Mean Streets of the Despicable.

Profile

Sofya is a member of the Luchkin fae gang that operates in Zolnyy.

While walking around the area, Sofya spotted her fellow member Vseslav attempting to protect a girl named Marfa since her situation fell under Luchkin jurisdiction, while a fae group led by Lindenovich of the Izmaylov gang attempted to confront her. Before she could do anything, she witnessed the Traveler intervene and protect them both and introduced herself to them after the Izmaylovs were driven out. Explaining the situation to the Traveler and Paimon, she brought them to her boss, Zmei, who asked them to investigate the Izmaylov's activities. Intelligence led them to Lorie, where they discovered that they were transporting materials. The Traveler was caught while attempting to steal a sample, and as the train left, Sofya, who was tasked with trailing them, managed to acquire a sled and rescued them in the outskirts of Snezhnograd.^[1]

Returning with the sample, the group then discovered that another member, Gureva, had failed to return at the appointed time, leading them to conclude that she might've been captured by the Izmaylovs. As she respected her capabilities, Sofya wanted to rescue her at all costs. Zmei asked the Traveler to lead the rescue, where they were led to her last location. Sofya and Iryna remained outside in the event that they needed backup. The Traveler successfully rescued Gureva and Sofya was in tears when they reunited, even offering to let the Traveler touch her tail in return. She later assisted the Traveler in fighting a shadow-corroded Vasiliy and handled the aftermath of his death with the other members.^[2]

Sofya shares the same appearance as a Long-Eared Striker.
