Dialogue
The giant of ice and snow seems to want to light up the lighthouse appearing in the Shadow Realm with the flame in his breast. It seems that you'll have to melt the snow around the lighthouse first...
- (Continues from previous quest)
- Paimon: Ah... Is that big guy trying to light the lighthouse? But it's completely covered in ice...
- (Arrive at the top of the lighthouse)
- Paimon: Hmm... If only we could melt all the ice off it!
- (Melt the ice around the lamp)
- (A cutscene plays)
-
- The glowing energy inside the giant's breast forms and orb and travels to the lighthouse lamp)
- (The lamp is ignited shining a spotlight on the island)
- (The ghost from before appears inside the spotlight and ascends the lighthouse)
- (The giant stands up facing the ghost)
- (As the ghost forms a prayer pose with their hands, the giant stares into space)
- (The giant turns and walks off into the distant sea)
- (The blizzard stills and the ghost becomes an ice statue)
- (Cutscene ends)
- Paimon: ...That big guy was chained up back there... In the end, this lighthouse is where he always wanted to be, huh?
- Paimon: But that young lady, that shadow... She was only human, so she shouldn't have been able to live this long...
- Paimon: So what was that shadow, really?
The wishes of that young lady herself gave it form, perhaps...
- Paimon: Hmm, maybe this is one of those cases where you think about something hard enough and your body actually moves in the direction you're thinking about without you noticing.
- Paimon: Right. Maybe that shadow... was also able to remain here to this day because she held on to her desire to see this big guy...
Perhaps it was comprised of the Snegovik's wishes...
- Paimon: The big guy's? You mean... That the girl never managed to wait for him, and he never did meet her...
- Paimon: And that the shadow was just a figment of his imagination?
- Paimon: Well... But even so, at least he did gain the world in the end, if only in his imagination... Right?
- Paimon: The big guy... He's walking beneath the waves... Paimon has a feeling we'll never see him again.
- Paimon: Seeya, Big Guy!
- Paimon: ...Well, not that Paimon knows if he can hear us.
He'll hear you.- Paimon: Paimon hopes so!
