Honkai Welt (HW)

Honkai Welt (HW) is an unit of measurement in the game's lore which measures Honkai Energy output from Honkai Beasts or Catastrophes. When an ordinary human is exposed to 10 HW or larger, their bodily functions slowly cease and their body gets corrupted into a zombie of sorts.[citation needed]
The higher the Honkai Energy, the larger the catastrophe will be. At the point of 100 HW, a Honkai Beast can emerge or be formed. This amount of Honkai Energy will attract local Honkai Beasts towards the source of said energy. An example of a place with this much HW is the Will of Honkai kept within the temple at Sakura's Village.[citation needed]
When 1,000 HW is present in an area, there is a high chance turn a human in that area into a Herrscher.[1]
