The Babylon Labs, also known as the Tower of Babylon, are located in Siberia, Russia, with very huge snowfields.^[1] The Babylon Labs is a Honkai Energy research base that was built by Schicksal,^[1][2] and is managed by Otto Apocalypse himself.^[3] This is also the place where the Second Eruption started.^[4]

The Babylon Laboratory

On Earth, in the Siberian snowfields, stands the second-largest Honkai Energy Research Facility: the Babylon Laboratory.^[5] The Babylon Laboratory has the world's third-largest Honkai-capacity Reactor,^[5] with a power of up to 6,500 HW.^[6] For comparison, the Honkai Welt of the 4th Herrscher was only 2,000 HW.^[7] Such a high-intensity Honkai power can be gathered without Honkai, thanks to extremely tight isolation facilities.^{[citation needed]}

There are three departments in Babylon's laboratory, the only one which is mentioned is the Advanced System Lab, which disguises itself as a medical institution for the treatment of Honkai energy diseases.^[8] However, in reality, it studies the technology that combines Honkai energy with the human body.^[9] It experiments on orphaned children and is said by Sirin to have abused them.^{[citation needed]}

Babylon Laboratory Design

The inside of Babylon Labs is said to look like a prison.^[3] The tower has an elevator that goes to the top floor and a two-story room with holding cells on the first floor and guards' rooms on the second,^[10] however, the elevator is only accessible with a digital key.^[11] In the tower, there is also a safe house.^[12] Floors underneath the safe house are mentioned to be a prison, factory, and lab.^[13] Deeper in the lab is where incubation pods for Honkai-experimented-on children reside,^[14] and at the end of the corridor is a terminal that unlocks a door to the top of the tower.^[15] While the exact location is unknown, a door leading to the Advanced System Lab is also present in the corridor.^[16]

The tower has 50 floors in total, with Honkai reactors being located at the bottom 20 floors while the three research divisions are located in the other 30.^[5]

Research Divisions

The three research divisions have a total of 322 staff, which are compiled of doctors^[17] and researchers.^[1]

1. Advanced System Lab:
   • Mainly researches the way to integrates the Honkai energy with human body. One of important achievement is the Stigmata technology.^[8]
2. Weapons Division:
   • Responsible for using theories from Energy Division to craft weapons for field operations by using Honkai Energy. Currently assists the HQ in the research of Pantheon-Series weapons.^[8]
3. Energy Division:
   • Focuses on theoretical research related to the Honkai and gives support to the other two divisions as required.^[8]
