Head to the pit garage and speak with Robin and Aventurine

UI Adventure Mission Mission Description

The opening race of Starflux has everyone's engines revving a racing fever in Astropolis. The race organizers are also planning a brand-new grand prix.
Robin and Aventurine are still enjoying their vacation, and they have agreed to meet you at the pit garage. Discuss matters with them first.
(Idle text)
Robin: (Trailblazer), I've got news!
(Interact with Robin • Summeretto and Aventurine • Waveflair)
Robin: You remember I mentioned that new grand prix before?
Robin: Looks like the organizers are planning something "with more entertainment flair and more eye-catching action" remedy the regret of "Starflux" missing out on a true showdown. That phrasing's got me a little curious.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Anyone wanna fill me in on what that means?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Guess they really run out of ideas, huh...
Aventurine: Actually, I heard an old acquaintance of ours got invited to join the competition committee. Might be able to dig up some info.
Aventurine: He should be in Astropolis right now. Hang on, let me reach out...
Some time later, said old friend arrives as invited.
Argenti: Thank Idrila for a reunion long overdue, and for a summer in Astropolis that never seemed to end.
Argenti: The lovely Miss Robin, the dashing Mr. Aventurine, in such radiant summer attire of yours, even the tides would linger for one more look.
Argenti: And as for you, my dearest companion... perhaps a change into summer's colors would suit you well. Still, just as you are, you are still a vision of beauty!
Icon Dialogue Arrow I heard you joined the competition committee.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Well, aren't you burning up in that outfit?
Argenti: I am.
Argenti: For wherever I am, whenever it may be, and whatever I may wear, my yearning for Beauty remains ever ablaze!
Aventurine: ...We actually wanted to ask about the race.
Argenti: As the Knight of "One and Only" and champion of multiple space racing competitions, I've been invited to serve as a special judge for the "Astropolis Cup." Ask me anything!
Robin: What's differentiates the "Astropolis Cup" from "Starflux"?
Argenti: "Starflux"? That's just conventional racing you're talking about, and the crowd is bored to death of it.
Argenti: I suggested to the organizers that we change it from "racing" to "knight jousting": high-speed clashes, thrilling offense and defense, grand spectacles... Every bout would be a heroic story of courage and glory!
Aventurine: And they went with it...?
Argenti: Sadly, no. But they did combine "racing" with "jousting." And it turned out to be a perfect match, if you ask me.
Robin: Actually, (Trailblazer) does have a racing team too, but we barely know anything about the new format. Mr. Argenti, could you fill us in?
Argenti: No problem! Here's my thought: You can take the "Astropolis Cup" prototype for a run, and I'll follow in your wake. One simulated lap, and everything will click into place.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Let's do it, right now!
Icon Dialogue Arrow Ugh, time to warm up again.
(Open tutorial race)

Robin: If the official race has more contestants, it'll definitely be even more exciting than Starflux.
Icon Dialogue Arrow If the other guy's out, then I win.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Would be nice if there was a plumber among the opponents...[Note 1]
Argenti: Speaking of which... let me properly introduce the "Astropolis Cup" league.
Argenti: This time, the Astropolis Cup event committee will be recruiting six teams to compete in the full season. The only requirement for invited teams to join the league is: maximum Elation.
Aventurine: ...Elation?
Argenti: Yes, the Astropolis Cup will follow in the footsteps of the Phantasmoon Games, welcoming only the teams that capture the crowd's heart and set the rumor mill ablaze!
Icon Dialogue Arrow A car-racing version of Phantasmoon Games?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Hopping on the bandwagon, huh?
Icon Dialogue Arrow We don't have enough space for that...
Argenti: That said... there will be no Phantasmoon in the sky, no Supplicants vying for Wishpower. Only teams testing their mettle, and a champion's prize that promises to "ascend"—
Aventurine: So winning a race is all it takes to become an Aeon for a minute?
Argenti: A whole day, actually! Though it's not becoming an actual Aeon, it's more like a god in a very specific field.
Argenti: The winning team shall be crowned the God of Traffic (Laws) of Astropolis!
Argenti: Whether it's chaining every single vehicle in the city together with iron chains, turning Astropolis into one giant bumper car rink, or making it mandatory for all vehicles to wear clothes before they're allowed on the road...
Argenti: All of it is possible!
Argenti: The winner gets to rewrite Astropolis's traffic rules for an entire day!
Icon Dialogue Arrow Are you really Argenti? Take off that mask!
Argenti: I'm simply delighted that the organizers are carrying out the Path of Elation so thoroughly!
Icon Dialogue Arrow A whole day? ANY rule!?
Aventurine: Wow, Arita sure knows how to have fun. Traditional Project Department isn't all that traditional after all.
Icon Dialogue Arrow But I still want the prize money more...
Aventurine: Think of it this way: You're the god of traffic rules now. Anyone you don't like? Ticket.
Argenti: And another thing, I've discovered a reason why you simply must claim victory. Cast your eyes upon this—
(Open Furbobocom menu)
Robin: The Astral Express, converted into a Ratite fan support vehicle!? Does the Astral Express even fall under Astropolis traffic rules?
Argenti: The Astral Express is a vehicle, and it's docked within the bounds of Astropolis... So technically, yes.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Oh no. I actually kind of want to see that.
Argenti: If there truly were an Astral Express fan parade marching through the streets, I would pray for Idrila to turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to it.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Neither I nor the conductor would ever agree to that.
Argenti: I imagine that, much to their chagrin, that adorable conductor would have no choice but to comply with the rules, reluctantly, of course.
Aventurine: Looks like Ratite's still stewing over his loss, even while stuck doing time in the footage review room...
Robin: If we don't join the race and he ends up winning, doesn't that mean the Astral Express would just have to accept whatever rules he cooks up?
Icon Dialogue Arrow I will NEVER allow that!
(Trailblazer): The theme for the Astral Express custom wrap can only be decided by me, well, me and the conductor.
Icon Dialogue Arrow We'll just have to leave this place...
(Trailblazer): I'll pack my things, hop on the Express, and get out of Astropolis before dawn. No way I'm sticking around for that.
Robin: In that case, why not take up his challenge? After the show, I've got a proper vacation coming anyway...
Robin: I picked up some mechanical modding skills from Miss Serval in Belobog. I can be your "Technical Director"!
Aventurine: Haha, I'm in too. Let's see... I can find you drivers, work out tactics. I'll be your "team lead."
Icon Dialogue Talk The finest associates Astropolis has ever seen, together again!
Robin: Haha! Here's to making Ratite eat dust again, cheers to a great partnership!
Icon Dialogue Talk I haven't figured out what rule I'd change if I win yet.
Aventurine: Haha, why not race first and think later? We've got all the time in the world.
Icon Dialogue Arrow I'll step up as team principal and go for the win.
Robin: With the three of us working together, we'll definitely run this team well.
Argenti: This is just beautiful! Oh, and I can register you all for the race. What's your team called?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Team Raccoon Blitz
(Trailblazer): The cosmos-famous IP, "Baseball Raccoon" has now switched to its agility-based blue mode.
Aventurine: Very much the Planarcadia vibe. You sure about this?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Lock it in.
Icon Dialogue Return Give me another minute...
Robin: Mm-hmm, take your time.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Team Blazing Wolves[Note 2]
(Trailblazer): Just thinking of that name fills me with courage and confidence to win.
Aventurine: Lesson one for you: "Don't pin any fancy hopes on a team name."
Icon Dialogue Arrow Lock it in.
Icon Dialogue Return Give me another minute...
Robin: Mm-hmm, take your time.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Team Fanwork Creation
(Trailblazer): Same crew, recreating the same Ratite party crash. That makes this time a derivative fanwork!
Aventurine: Love fanworks. Keep 'em coming.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Lock it in.
Icon Dialogue Return Give me another minute...
Robin: Mm-hmm, take your time.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Team Yep-Yep-Yep-Yep
(Trailblazer): It's all about that chill, hands-off vibe.
Aventurine: We're yepping too?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Yep.
Icon Dialogue Return Give me another minute...
Robin: Mm-hmm, take your time.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Custom Name 5
(Trailblazer): The simpler the name, the better the chances, right?
Aventurine: Haha, "simple"? More like "whatever."
Icon Dialogue Arrow Lock it in.
Icon Dialogue Return Give me another minute...
Robin: Mm-hmm, take your time.
Argenti: Noted. I'll handle the team logo design for (Team Raccoon BlitzTeam Raccoon Blitz). You won't be disappointed.
Robin: Alright, decision made. Time to head to the pit garage and build our Astropolis Cup rides. Let's go!

Get ready to challenge the Astropolis Cup

UI Adventure Mission Mission Description

Now, get the team's cars ready and recruit some drivers. Prepare to take the Astropolis Cup by storm!
(After car customization is completed)
Robin: Race day's just around the corner. Think your "most buzz-worthy driver" will make it in time, Mr. Aventurine?
Aventurine: Don't worry, I just got word. He's almost here.
Aventurine: ...By the way, what makes a champion driver in the Astropolis Cup, in your book?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Unpredictable?
Robin: Taking a page from the Phantasmoon Games playbook, run-of-the-mill drivers just won't cut it for the Astropolis Cup.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Excellent driving skills?
Robin: One way or another, a driver needs elite racing skills.
(After selecting both options)
Aventurine: He checks every box you just listed.
Aventurine: Last night, I lost to a sedan. The guy drifted around every turn on inertia alone. His car was so fast, all I could make out was a "Flaming Chili Sauce" sign on the side. Turns out, he can drive down that mountain even with his eyes closed.
Aventurine: Now, allow me to introduce you to our (Team Raccoon BlitzTeam Raccoon Blitz)'s newest signing: Jiaoqiu, the Verdantia Hill Driving Legend.[Note 3]
Jiaoqiu: Well, well, long time no see, (Trailblazer).
Icon Dialogue Talk Can you actually drive with those eyes?
Jiaoqiu: Since we last parted on the Luofu, my eye condition has improved a little. Not fully healed, but I should be fine behind the wheel.
(Trailblazer): Then it's not fine!
Icon Dialogue Talk You've definitely got the "buzz-worthy" part covered...
Jiaoqiu: Surprising, isn't it? Most foxians are natural-born drivers. General Feixiao and Helm Master Yukong, for instance, both are excellent at it.
(Trailblazer): It's not the foxian driver that surprises me... it's you behind the wheel of a racecar!
Icon Dialogue Arrow Maybe, we should go with Feixiao or Moze instead?
Jiaoqiu: I had a feeling you'd say that, but they're both always with me. Take a look at this jade abacus in my hand...
Jiaoqiu: Inside the jade abacus are AI digital avatarsAgent of the General and Moze: "Fei" and "Moz," who put their high-speed driving experience to good use by providing me with voice navigation.
Jiaoqiu: Two ears are better than one, right? "Fei" uses speed to break the calm, while "Moz" uses calm to counter the rush. So I guess that makes both of them my ride-or-dies.
Icon Dialogue Arrow That just went from iffy to even iffier.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Best Yaoqing crew ever. Now I can rest easy.
Aventurine: The opening race is right around the corner, and there's no time to find a new driver now. Why not trust my eye for talent?
Robin: Then I'll go set up the repair bots to mount the jade abacus onto the car... hopefully both driver and ride come out in one piece.
Some time later... The Astropolis Cup Begins.

Owlbert: First up, we have the Baby Sharks![Note 4]
Argenti: Boothill is the team principal, and Miss Rappa, the Dazzling Ninja will be their opening driver. I heard the two Rangers came to Astropolis looking for someone. Could it be... Dr. Primitive?
Owlbert: Well, they came to the wrong place! Next, walking in is the Slumbernana Monkey Squad—
Argenti: The team principal for Slumbernana Monkey Squad is M.S. Primitive, who, compared to the vile Dr. Primitive, is sadly just one degree short.
Argenti: And here's their driver, who was born to hit the road, the Roadape.
Owlbert: Next up is the Lone Victor—[Note 5]
Owlbert: Same person's both driver and principal. Their big claim to fame is "no sense of direction," and somehow people love 'em for it... So where are they?
Argenti: Miss Acheron exudes the aura of a true powerhouse from head to toe... but I can't shake the feeling she's still lost right now. Is that just me?
Owlbert: Probably not.
Owlbert: Next up, it's Cry Me A River—
Owlbert: From principal to driver, everything is run by Silver Wolf's AI, Prometheus... Huh? The IPC registration system has been hacked, AGAIN!?
Argenti: Here's hoping that Silver Wolf, our elusive phantom, brings victory home for the "Silver Family."
Owlbert: And now entering the arena is the Ratite Empire—[Note 6]
Argenti: Word has it that this driver is the man behind the famous "Stunt Guy" persona...[Note 7] but his profile is surprisingly ordinary.
Argenti: Kira Yoshikestrel, age 33, residing in the villa district northeast of Astropolis, unmarried, employed at "Ratite Cultural Media Co., Ltd." Drives for seven hours a day, doesn't smoke, doesn't drink, guarantees a full eight hours of sleep...[Note 8]
Owlbert: Isn't this obviously fake?
Owlbert: And finally, walking in... it's (Team Raccoon BlitzTeam Raccoon Blitz)!
Argenti: Never expected the driver to be the Yaoqing's very own Verdantia Hill Driving Legend! Now that's what I call a race worth watching...
Owlbert: Is the Verdantia Hill Driving Legend really that famous? And isn't he supposed to be a healer for the Yaoqing?
Argenti: The opening race of the Astropolis Cup begins now—
Icon Dialogue Arrow Stick to the plan. Get ready to rumble.

Continue the Astropolis Cup season journey

UI Adventure Mission Mission Description

Keep advancing through the season, keep leveling up your car, keep climbing the ranks... and then, win the Astropolis Cup.
(After winning Day 5 race)
Jiaoqiu: Ah, you're here. I was just talking to Team Lead Aventurine about taking some sick leave... Lately when I drive, I swear I can see another me. He's not a bad driver, but I still overtook him.
Aventurine: This is clearly a visual hallucination. For health and safety reasons, Jiaoqiu will temporarily return to the Xianzhou Yaoqing for regular checkups.
Jiaoqiu: So, I came to say hello. Once the examination is over, I'll be back...
(Trailblazer): Go inside and get some rest. We'll be waiting for you.
Jiaoqiu: You make it sound like I'm going to prison... I'll be taking my leave, then.
Aventurine: To fill his spot, I've found a second driver for the team.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Jiaoqiu doesn't need to go back for his check-up now...
Icon Dialogue Arrow ...Are you just going after Xianzhou healers now?
Bailu: Guess what? I'm the Baby Racing GodBaby Driver you've been looking for.
Lingsha: And I'm here on vacation as her guardian for the holidays.
Robin: ...I'm curious, does Miss Bailu actually fit your criteria for a driver, Mr. Aventurine?
Aventurine: Of course. First, she's unpredictable.
Robin: The high elder behind the wheel... yeah, that definitely caught me off guard. And her driving skills...?
Lingsha: Oh, don't even worry about her driving. Miss Bailu took first place in the Sky-Faring Commission's starskiff racing junior league.
Icon Dialogue Arrow What? Starskiffs have a junior league now?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Lady Bailu, I choose you!
Bailu: Soon as I get behind the wheel, everything just slows down. Turns out I was the one getting faster. Maybe I was some ace pilot in a past life, and now it's all coming back!
Aventurine: I thought the high elder's special status meant inviting her as a driver was out of the question, but...
Lingsha: I pushed back against all the naysayers, and even General Jing Yuan said, "What's the harm?" Miss Bailu's been held back by the Preceptors for years. If you ask me, she's more than earned a break and some real fun.
Bailu: General Jing Yuan and Lingsha are way too good to me!
Robin: I'm sure Miss Bailu's gonna be a great driver! I'd love to start tweaking the car to fit her style...
Robin: Seat height, steering wheel size... Oh, and Miss Bailu, anything else you want tweaked?
Bailu: I want... in-car music.
Robin: Haha, now that's my territory. What kind of music do you like?
Bailu: The music on kiddie rides...
Lingsha: Truth is, I first spotted Miss Bailu's gift on a kiddie ride. Get her behind the wheel with some nursery rhymes playing, and her driving improves by at least 400%.
Robin: ...Kiddie ride music?
Bailu: *A powerful beat kicks in* Daddy finger, daddy finger, where are you? ♪
Icon Dialogue Arrow ...You're an expert at this too, Robin?
Robin: I've performed plenty of nursery rhymes for kids, but... you know what? I think this one's better if Miss Bailu sings it herself!
Icon Dialogue Arrow I have no idea what that's even improving...
Aventurine: Every driver's got their own thing. All we can do is trust her.
Icon Dialogue Arrow *Tries to sing along* Mommy finger, mommy finger, where are you?
Bailu: Here I am, here I am. How do you do!?
Robin: Leave the modifications to me. I'll make sure Miss Bailu wins this race her way.

(After winning Day 9 race)
Acheron: What are you doing in my pit garage?
Aventurine: Your... pit garage?
Aventurine: Pretty sure you're the one who got lost this time. This is (Team Raccoon BlitzTeam Raccoon Blitz)'s pit. Check again.
Acheron: Oh yeah, you're right. I saw the safety car come out earlier. Glad everyone's okay. I should probably get back to my own garage now.
Gepard: I've finally found you, ma'am.
Acheron: ...
Acheron: Can I ask you a question? You may think it somewhat strange, perhaps even rude, but I wish to know...
Acheron: ...Have we met somewhere before?
Gepard: I'm the safety car driver. Every time you've gotten lost on the track, I was there. So yes, I'd say we've met.
Icon Dialogue Talk Gepard? What are you doing here?
Gepard: The Astropolis Cup organizers said the race is gonna be messy, and they wanted an experienced person who can take hits and stay steady to be the safety car driver. I was on vacation anyway, so I said yes.
Gepard: Thanks to the Astral Express's trailblazing, our connection to the cosmos has never been stronger.
Icon Dialogue Talk Just curious, what brings you to the race, Acheron?
Acheron: I'm just an ordinary traveler passing through the Consternation Starzone... But I've somehow ended up in Astropolis. Since fate has brought me here, I decided to take a brief rest and join the race while I'm at it.
Acheron: Everything happens as fate would have it. Just like now. I wandered into the wrong pit and ended up meeting you.
Icon Dialogue Arrow So, the one driving in reverse on the track...
Acheron: That wasn't me.
Gepard: Miss Acheron, I was hoping to find a chance to show you around the track. Would now be a good time?
Acheron: I see. Please lead the way.

Boothill: Forkin' hell, I just saw the safety car driver right here... How'd they up and vanish in the blink of an eye?
Boothill: Well, (Trailblazer), you're just in time. Settle this for me!
Boothill: This monkey's been driving in reverse since the race started and knocked Rappa clean off the track. Something's definitely off!
Rappa: Silvergun Shura and I suspect he's Profnana sent by Evil Ninja Osaru.
Robin: How did you reach that conclusion?
Boothill: Now, everyone knows Dr. Primitive's favorite fudgin' pastime is drivin' the evolution theory in reverse.
Roadape: I've been wronged!
Icon Dialogue Talk You two are here looking for Dr. Primitive?
Rappa: Nah, Silvergun Shura and I have come in search of the "Narrator." He had a falling-out with the boss and ran away from home.
Rappa: Without our boss, the agency just loses a detective. But without the "Narrator," the agency ceases to exist.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Is your boss really that unimportant?
Boothill: When it comes to detective work, the boss's deduction skills are pretty much on par with a Wubbaboo.
Rappa: The "Narrator" is the last shred of dignity allowing our boss to call himself a detective with a straight face.
Icon Dialogue Arrow So you found the Slumbernana Monkey Squad?
Boothill: These Slumbernana Monkeys all look alike. I could've sworn this fudgin' Roadape was the "Narrator."
Icon Dialogue Arrow Alright, let's hear your excuse for driving in reverse.
Roadape: Someone pulled a nasty trick on me and swapped out my windshield with one-way glass. You'd never notice a thing from the outside, but from the inside? I've basically got one giant rearview mirror staring back at me!
Roadape: *sob* To rack up points for the "Astropolis Cup," I had no choice but to keep racing in reverse, eyes glued to the rearview mirror.
Robin: Looks like Roadape was just another victim of a prank.
Roadape: You bet, I'm just a cute little monkey who loves honey water.[Note 9]
Boothill: Sweet-talker. Your team principal goes by "M.S. Primitive." You sure that ain't Dr. Primitive walkin' back his credentials?
Roadape: That's not true! I entered the "Astropolis Cup" to make my dreams come true. There's no room for any ulterior motives in that...
Roadape: If I ever became the God of Traffic, I'd set humanity's entire transit system back to when they were still swinging from trees!
Boothill: ...Son of a bench, and you're tellin' me you ain't sent by Dr. Primitive!? I'll put a bullet in your fudgin' head!
After a brief hiccup, the race carries on as normal. As a side note, Jiaoqiu has finished his checkup and is now cleared to return to the racing competition.

(After winning Day 12 race)
Ratite: (Trailblazer), I'm sorry to say this, but we've filed a report with the organizers. Your team is gonna need to go through a doping test!
Kenneth Arita: I'm sure you don't need any substances to win... but per regulations, I'll still need to run a routine inspection.
Icon Dialogue Talk How did Ratite get released?
Ratite: I didn't pull any tricks! I finished editing every single reel in the footage review room, and this is me released after serving my punishment fair and square.
Ratite: Besides, if I hadn't come out of there, I never would've gotten to see the Astral Express: Ratite Special~!
Icon Dialogue Talk Filing a report isn't exactly free, is it?
Kenneth Arita: Rest assured, everyone. I already gave Ratite a heads-up beforehand. If no violations are found, we'll dismiss the charges and issue a formal warning to the "Ratite Empire."
Ratite: Don't worry, there's no smoke without fire. I've got solid evidence before coming to you with this.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Then go ahead and check. We've got nothing to hide.
Ratite: Kira Yoshikestrel saw it too! Your racers have been sneaking sips of something suspicious out of a thermos!
Kenneth Arita: Then I'll have to trouble the two racers from (Team Raccoon BlitzTeam Raccoon Blitz) to cooperate with a formal inquiry in person.
Kenneth Arita: Since both the racers and their guardian are here, I'll cut straight to the chase. Did you take any substances?
Bailu: Well, I did.
Jiaoqiu: That depends. I did take some medications... but it's more of a personal habit of mine.
Ratite: That's a confession if I ever heard one. Violating stimulant regulations means a suspension of eight years or more!
Kenneth Arita: (Trailblazer), care to explain yourself?
Icon Dialogue Arrow They're both healers, so this stuff is prescription only!
Icon Dialogue Arrow Please, you two, just explain your medications properly, alright?
Lingsha: You've got it all wrong. There's no stimulant in the thermos. What's inside is... the medical showdown between the Luofu and the Yaoqing—
Jiaoqiu: Medical showdown? Hardly. Even Miss Bailu had to admit that my Blazing Vitality Broth puts her Refreshing Lemongrass Tea to shame in the "wake-you-up" department.
Bailu: It's true. The way you torment the bowels is rather... invigorating. But what would you do if I pulled out my Yellow Milkvetch Puffergoat Divine Broth?
Jiaoqiu: In that case, I'll have no choice but to serve up my Devil Jumps Over the Wall, which is loaded with fish mint, naturally.
Two Healers' Bellies: *A series of pitiful rumblings from the stomach caused by indigestion*
Lingsha: Looks like these two have been mixing their meds... I'll take them to get their stomachs checked out. You needed a doping test result anyway, right?
Quick doping test in progress...
Kenneth Arita: Neither racer tested positive for any prohibited substances. The organizing committee has decided to dismiss Mr. Ratite's accusation!
Ratite: Tsk...
Kenneth Arita: Sorry, I misjudged you. (Trailblazer), you must be... pretty upset right now, aren't you?
Icon Dialogue Arrow I'm so mad, I'll bring you destruction![Note 10]
Icon Dialogue Arrow Relax, I'm a gracious person. No hard feelings.
Kenneth Arita: To help you and the racers let out some anger, we've specially placed "Arita Cutouts" on the track this time.
Kenneth Arita: They represent the outdated traffic order, the rigid rules and regulations... See? Absolutely despicable!
(Trailblazer): ...I wouldn't have gone that far.
Kenneth Arita: Contestants, I urge you to break the outdated rules, hit me with everything you've got, and spare no cost! Go on, give it a shot!
Icon Dialogue Arrow We're all doing our best just to get by! Take this!
Icon Dialogue Arrow Oops, thought it was a speed bump! Take this!
Icon Dialogue Arrow Then take it up with my insurance! Take this!
Ratite: Huh!?
Kenneth Arita: Yeah, that's what I'm talking about! The more you hit me on the track, the more motivation you get!
Kenneth Arita: Hahaha! I can't wait to see you give it everything you've got! Full speed ahead, and I'll see you on the race track!
Lingsha: ...I've got good news and bad news for you.
Lingsha: The bad news is, both your racers have upset their stomachs. And the good news is, their pain may become the driving force that carries them to the finish line.
Lingsha: Anyway, (Trailblazer), it's time for you to decide who'll be competing next.

Complete the Astropolis Cup and win the championship

UI Adventure Mission Mission Description

We've finally reached the season finals. The team has enough points to guarantee your shot at the championship trophy.
Are you ready to become the "God of Traffic (Laws)" of Astropolis and bring a new order to the traffic here?
(After winning Day 14 race)
(If Jiaoqiu was chosen as the driver)
A message comes with the sea breeze.
At the "Astropolis Cup," (Team Raccoon BlitzTeam Raccoon Blitz) spent a day as the "God of Traffic (Laws)."
Under the rule of "Traffic God (Trailblazer)" and "Jiaoqiu the Champion," people would surely describe the experience as...
It was a "numbingly spicy day."
On that day, "Flaming Chili Sauce" replaced driver's licenses, and traffic lights were changed to "Extra Spicy," "Mildly Spicy," and "Slightly Spicy."
Traffic police conducted spice sobriety checks, meaning any driver with a blood capsaicin level below 80mg/100mL would be prohibited from hitting the road.
Things were getting real spicy in Astropolis!

A message comes with the sea breeze.
At the "Astropolis Cup," (Team Raccoon BlitzTeam Raccoon Blitz) spent a day as the "God of Traffic (Laws)."
Under the rule of "Traffic God (Trailblazer)" and "Bailu the Champion," people would surely describe the experience as...
It was an "naively innocent day."
On that day, every traffic light in the city transformed into a rock-paper-scissors machine, and only the drivers who beat them were allowed through.
As for the vehicles that were stuck waiting for the traffic signal, they'd automatically transform into kiddie rides, rocking back and forth to the tune of a children's song.
Should you fail to beat the traffic lights, you'd be sent to the Astropolis Arena, where you'd transform into a bumper car and compete for the right of way.
Astropolis, seriously?
Adventure Mission Astropolis Speeder Rush 2
Bailu: Lingsha, I've been thinking about this for some time... Maybe I'm more cut out to be a racer than a healer.
Lingsha: You really think so?
Bailu: Yeah. Just look at Jiaoqiu, he's way better at being General Feixiao's advisor, her personal cook, even a racer, than he ever was as a healer.
Jiaoqiu: Now, now, little Bailu, those words sting a little.
Lingsha: If you're not a registered healer with the Alchemy Commission, Miss Bailu, then as Cauldron Master, I'm afraid I would no longer be your superior.
Lingsha: So then I'm off to Taikiyan to catch the Roboball championship, grabbing some Tai-rrific fries, a Tai-tanic burger, washing it down with a Tai-licious soda... and this whole "Tai-mazing" trip? It's got nothing to do with you.
Bailu: ...!?
Bailu: Lingsha, I hereby discard my racing career right here and now. Let's go! To Taikiyan, at once!
Aventurine: And what about you, Mr. Jiaoqiu? What's on your mind?
Jiaoqiu: Now that the championship is claimed, my vacation is over. I need to return on schedule for medication and follow-up checks for my eyes, and the General has been pressing me to head back as well...
Robin: General Feixiao really does look out for her people.
Jiaoqiu: She picked up a stack of traffic safety presentations from the Sky-Faring Commission, and she's been counting on me to head back and write the scripts for her.
Robin: ...Looks like when a vacation ends, work is always waiting.
Lingsha & Bailu & Jiaoqiu: Here's wishing (Team Raccoon BlitzTeam Raccoon Blitz) all the best in your future endeavors. Until next time~
Icon Dialogue Arrow Safe travels, everyone~
Icon Dialogue Arrow Come back and visit the pit anytime, everyone~
Argenti: Congratulations to (Team Raccoon BlitzTeam Raccoon Blitz) for claiming the top spot at the "Astropolis Cup"! Your performance was simply breathtaking~
Robin: Thank you, Mr. Argenti. None of this would have been possible without your help.
Argenti: The organizers let me in on some exciting news: In light of the audience's unprecedented enthusiasm, the overwhelming pressure from sponsors, and the surge in enrollment at the Astropolis Driving School... they've decided to host an all-new grand prix.
Argenti: The "Astropolis Cup" will officially be elevated to... the "Cosmic Cup."
Aventurine: ...So you're saying the scale has expanded from Astropolis to the entire cosmos?
Argenti: Absolutely right. The winning team shall become the God of Traffic (Laws) across the entire cosmos!
Argenti: Within every segmentum, every planet, and every region under the Interastral Peace Corporation's jurisdiction, the rules of the road are set by whoever wins.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Sounds way too chaotic! But I kinda like it.
Robin: The bigwigs with all the power turned this into their own little "game for the throne." Can't believe they'd do whatever they want in the name of entertainment...
Icon Dialogue Arrow Did Arita get hit by a car or something? What is wrong with him?
Aventurine: What got knocked over was a life-size cutout of Kenneth Arita. But you make a fair point. Arita's lost it, and it doesn't look like an act.
Argenti: Oh, and one more thing, I've got good news and bad news for you—
Argenti: The good news is, as the champion team, (Team Raccoon BlitzTeam Raccoon Blitz) has already secured a spot in the "Cosmic Cup."
Argenti: The bad news is, however, the Ratite Empire has also announced they're staying in the race... So if they win, the Astral Express fan support vehicle will be an inevitability.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Perfect, we still haven't had enough.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Oh no, this is not good. Our racers just hung up their hats.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Ugh, I'm exhausted... Why is this Ratite still after me!?
Aventurine: Astropolis never runs short on surprises~ Don't worry, leave the matter of recruiting racers to me.
Robin: A new race, a new car... I've already got some ideas brewing. (Trailblazer), don't forget to come find me at the pit~
Argenti: I'm looking forward to seeing you in the "Cosmic Cup"! See you on the track!

(If the race was lost)
A message comes with Ratite.
At the "Astropolis Cup," the Ratite Empire spent a day as the "God of Traffic (Laws)."
Under the rule of "Ratite, God of Traffic," people would surely describe the experience as...
It was "the most shameful day in Astral Express history."
On this day, the Astral Express was converted into a Ratite fan support vehicle, cruising the main thoroughfares of Astropolis on loop, blasting Ratite's fan chants for all to hear!
Adventure Mission Astropolis Speeder Rush 3
Astral Express: Ratite Special: "Step aside and make way, Ratite is here to win today!"
Astral Express: Ratite Special: "How badly I wanna lean against Ratite's big, beastly chest~"
Astral Express: Ratite Special: "Failure is the mother of success! Don't ever give up, Rattie!"
Astral Express: Ratite Special: "The Astral Express has been a part of the Ratite family since the day it first set off~"
The Astral Express's reputation is utterly ruined!

Aventurine: The new racer has already been recruited, and getting her on board wasn't easy. It's all thanks to your reputation pulling through, (Trailblazer).
Nihilux: Surprise, little raccoon~ Bet you didn't see me coming~
(Trailblazer): ...Can you seriously just show up anywhere there's fun to be had?
Nihilux: I'm being so serious. I actually used to be a racer, you know? Here's my name card... Wait, I mean, my driver's license.

(Trailblazer): Is this even you on the driver's license?
Nihilux: Of course it's me!
(Trailblazer): Is that so?
Nihilux: Yes! I was a lot stronger back then.
(Trailblazer): This can't be you.
Nihilux: Alright, fine. This isn't mine. It's Yingxing's license, not mine at all.[Note 11]
Icon Dialogue Arrow Found the reason Bladie can't find his driver's license...
Icon Dialogue Arrow Hey, Nihilux, do you even have a driver's license?
(Trailblazer): Give Bladie's license back and use your own to enter the race. And by the way, now I really have to believe Bladie does have a license of his own. The proof is right there in your hands.
Aventurine: Allow me to explain, the racer we recruited is indeed Miss Nihilux, but... she has conditions of her own.
Nihilux: My registered racer name has to be "Mummicat," so I borrowed Blade's license...
Icon Dialogue Talk Who's "Mummicat"?
Nihilux: Mummicat is one of the most popular characters in The Fluffy! It's a kitty inspired by the Stellaron Hunter Blade, whose appeal is that it never speaks and always looks like it knows everything. Ring any bells?
(Trailblazer): I think so...?
Nihilux: Even though its whole appeal is that it doesn't talk, a ton of fans still complain that Mummicat doesn't have enough lines. Then it hit me, flipping that stereotype on its head could be a blast!
Nihilux: ...So in the latest chapter, I had Mummicat recite 20 pages of Dreamless Coffee advertisement lines in the background. Now that's a massive line-count boost that shot my numbers through the roof. Just like that, it became the character with the most dialogue in The Fluffy.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Are you taking on ads everywhere again?
Nihilux: What do you want me to do then? Being a writer is hard, okay?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Is it really okay for Nihilux to pad the word count like this...?
Nihilux: Don't worry about that. Quantity over quality is the law here.
Icon Dialogue Talk How did you get Bladie's license?
Nihilux: I ran into him on the streets just the other day. He was stressing over what to do with his old driver's license now that he'd gotten a new one.
Nihilux: Bladie grabbed my hand in tears and said, "Blurry, this is my last driver's license. Please take it!"
Nihilux: Yeah, I know, that was a bit contradictory, but... do you believe my words?
Icon Dialogue Arrow I believe you.
Nihilux: You believe that? Because I sure don't.
Icon Dialogue Arrow I don't believe you.
Nihilux: Uno reverse! I don't believe that you don't believe me.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Alright, spill it. What is it this time?
Nihilux: Truth is, I signed a Valuation-Adjustment Mechanism with Pearluxe Entertainment... You know how it goes.
Nihilux: Skip the details and long story short: I'm using the "Cosmic Cup" to put Mummicat on the map in a big way! That's the deal I struck with Mr. Aventurine: You need a top-tier racer, and I need maximum exposure—
Icon Dialogue Talk Have you fallen out of love with Baseball Raccoon?
Nihilux: No, no, not at all. My love neither fades nor transfers. I love the little raccoon. It's just that I love Mummicat even more at the moment.
Icon Dialogue Arrow If you want to advertise, you'll have to take the first place...
Aventurine: Miss Nihilux has claimed first place thirteen consecutive times in the "Outrun Your Comics Editor" Escape Competition. Her driving skills are absolutely something else.
Robin: ...Mr. Aventurine has always had an eye for talent when it comes to the racers he recruits, that much goes without saying. But this angle he's working still caught me off-guard.
Robin: So then, Ms. Nihilux, how would you like to customize your car?
Nihilux: My registered racer name is "Mummicat," so everything has to be full-on Mummicat themed!
Robin: I see. You can leave it to me.
Aventurine: All the groundwork for the "Cosmic Cup" is in place. Now then, ladies and gentlemen, are you ready to take it all?
Icon Dialogue Arrow (Team Raccoon BlitzTeam Raccoon Blitz), ready to rumble.

Continue the Cosmic Cup season

UI Adventure Mission Mission Description

Now, get the team's cars ready and recruit drivers. Prepare to make a run for the Cosmic Cup!
A familiar yet strange feeling... This is racing, where one is always speeding toward the next race.
(After winning Day 4 race)
Gepard: Pardon the interruption, (Team Raccoon BlitzTeam Raccoon Blitz). I'm looking for someone called Mummicat. Would you happen to know who that is?
Nihilux: Uh... Mummicat has already headed back. I'm Mummicat's manager. Is there something I can help you with?
Gepard: Alright then. I'm Gepard, the safety car driver. The organizers have sent me to inform you that...
Gepard: Mummicat's driver's license was issued in Star Calendar Year 73██, or eight Amber Eras ago, and has never been renewed since.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Oh boy, this can't be good...
Icon Dialogue Arrow Now that's a relic from the ancient past!
Nihilux: Don't tell me it's expired...
Gepard: The good news is, under the Intergalactic Traffic Code Historical Version Compatibility Clause, the system recognizes this antique license.
Nihilux: Whew, looks like we just dodged a bullet...
Gepard: The bad news is, however, Mummicat got caught up in traffic violations from eight Amber Eras ago.
Robin: Xianzhou traffic regulations from Star Calendar Year 73██? What's so special about those?
Icon Dialogue Arrow You have to signal when changing lanes.
Icon Dialogue Arrow You must keep a safe following distance on highways.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Only 12 points can be deducted from your license.
(Trailblazer): (Why do I even know that? Looks like there's a Path of "the Wheels" that hasn't been unlocked yet...)
Gepard: The "cumulative points system" enforced under the traffic laws of that period has also been incorporated, meaning if a driver accumulates 12 points within a single scoring cycle, the traffic authority reserves the right to confiscate their license, and the driver will be required to retake the relevant courses and examinations.[Note 12]
Gepard: Unfortunately, Mummicat has committed multiple traffic violations, including unnecessarily crossing a solid line and changing lanes without signaling.
Gepard: We've also received a report from the "Ratite Empire" alleging a violation on your end. Something about... the Mummicat having a serious case of road rage.
Icon Dialogue Talk Racecars don't have turn signals!
Gepard: ...I understand your frustration, but that's the price of using an antique license. It's not exactly flexible.
Icon Dialogue Talk Mummicat does NOT have road rage!
Gepard: The organizers picked up plenty of choice phrases over the racing radio. Things like "You're in my way" and "Time to send you on your way,"[Note 13] you know what I mean.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Well, I guess that's it. Just deduct the points already.
Gepard: All 12 points have been deducted. Your license has been suspended, and you are barred from the race.
Nihilux: We're so done for...
Gepard: My advice to Mummicat is to get a proper, up-to-date license and restore their eligibility to compete. That's all I have to say. Good day.
Aventurine: So then, Ms. Nihilux... What about your own license?
Nihilux: I'm off to get one right now. Gotta run. Good luck, everyone...
Robin: Does this mean... we have no racers left? Are we going to forfeit the race?
Aventurine: ...I admit, I didn't see this one coming.
Icon Dialogue Arrow I guess I'll have to start warming up...
Aventurine: Managing a racing team and getting behind the wheel both require maximum attention... Don't worry, just leave the racer issue to me.
Icon Dialogue Arrow I know a pretty solid driver...
Aventurine: From what I know, your conductor hardly ever leaves the Astral Express. Don't worry, leave the racer issue to me.
Aventurine: Give me a second to make a call. I happen to know someone who's vacationing in Astropolis right now.
Topaz: Long time no see, and look at you, fallen on hard times, Director Aventurine?
Topaz: So you're sitting in the team lead's seat, but your drivers have all bolted. Resources that tight, huh? Need some of my connections?
Aventurine: Sign on as our driver, and the latest Epsilon stock market report is all yours.
Topaz: You're bringing that up? Have you already forgotten when Epsilon Index went below 28 million points last time?
Aventurine: Hmph... I have long since forgotten such a statistically non-significant fluke.
Topaz: Your standards are way too flexible. Don't try to pull one over on me. The price you're offering at this stage isn't nearly enough.
Robin: Miss Topaz, I can put together a custom racing entry, one made just for you and Numby. This is the kind of opportunity money can't buy!
Topaz: R—Really? That's a very tempting offer.
Icon Dialogue Talk The registered driver's name is gonna be "Topaz & Numby"...
Topaz: That would be interesting...
Icon Dialogue Talk Just picture Numby taking that Gutter Run...
Numby: *porcine lunge* Oink oink...
Topaz: ...Feeling a little antsy yourself, Numby?
Icon Dialogue Arrow We let Numby take charge of cosmic transportation for a whole day.
Topaz & Numby: Deal / Oink.
Aventurine: What a yes-bot for Numby. I totally got her.
Topaz: Hmph. Numby, let's go! Show the entire cosmos what you're truly capable of.

(After winning Day 8 race)
Boothill: Well butter my fudge and call me a biscuit, someone better tell me which son of a fork decided to stick those flyers to faces everywhere?
Argenti: Easy there, Boothill...
Boothill: I simply can't! Even if the photo's only a partial match, it's still a fudgin' threat! Someone's out there spreadin' pictures of our boss, wait, I mean, of some total stranger!
Icon Dialogue Talk So... are we still playing the "total stranger" bit?
Boothill: You know we can't go blowing his cover. He wants to keep his identity hidden, so we'd better fudgin' play along.
Argenti: In the name of the Knights, I swear I shall never reveal the true identity of Mr. Ashveil.
Icon Dialogue Arrow And I'll never breathe a word about La Mancha's information.
Boothill: ...You two aren't even gonna pretend anymore, huh?
Icon Dialogue Arrow That's an ad for the "Ashen Detective Agency"...
Rappa: We came to Astropolis specifically to track down the "Narrator," and these agency flyers are exactly the lead we needed.
Boothill: Lead? Fair point, lemme think... these flyers oughta be...
Boothill: Association threat!
Boothill: Someone's definitely got their eye on the boss and trying to quill him!
(Trailblazer) & Argenti: ...
Rappa: ...You two look confused. Need me to translate what Silvergun Shura actually meant?
Icon Dialogue Arrow I think he's probably talking about a death threat...
Argenti: When the clues are too obvious and the conclusion too absurd, humans can't help but look utterly baffled.
Icon Dialogue Arrow We're confused, not because we don't understand...
Argenti: We were all blown away by the mental acrobatics needed for Boothill's deductive reasoning.
Rappa: Actually, I have a hypothesis of my own: These little flyers were left behind on the spot by the "Narrator" himself...
Rappa: An alibi!
Icon Dialogue Arrow An alibi... left on the spot!?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Now I know three Rangers who can't do deduction at all!
Icon Dialogue Arrow Exactly. It all just spawned out of thin air.
Boothill: Tch, an alibi!? There goes another fudgin' lead straight down the drain...!
"Narrator": Mr. Argenti, I'm turning myself in. I'm the one who pasted all those flyers! I'll take whatever punishment is coming to me, alone.
Boothill: So the Narrator has an alibi, and the Slumbernana Monkey Squad's got an M.S. Primitive in it... Did boss... turn into a monkey... and is out here handing out flyers?
Boothill: Boss, you aren't born to paste flyers!!!
Icon Dialogue Arrow This is the fudgin' boss!?
Icon Dialogue Arrow ...Please, just stop with the deductions!
Boothill: Will you quit acting like you don't care!? This monkey is... our boss, he got turned into this against his will!
"Narrator": Mr. Boothill, did you get your head stuck in a racecar door or something?
"Narrator": I'm the Narrator. The Narrator, okay!? A highly educated monkey with a side gig in ad placement.
Boothill & Rappa: Huh!?
"Narrator": Your boss is in the double-door refrigerator catching some Z's, while I'm out here grinding away on this "high view count, high-exposure" promotion mission all by myself.
"Narrator": *sigh* This agency would absolutely fall apart without me.
And just like that, the little sideshow was over. The "Cosmic Cup" rolled on.
Chances are, nobody cares, but the Narrator will say it anyway: Nihilux scored a passing mark at the driving school, successfully obtained the Mummicat driver's license, and can now finally return to racing competitions.

(After winning Day 12 race)
Aventurine: Word has it that you've competed in the "Speed Cup" Spheroid Racing Tournament before, (Trailblazer)?
Icon Dialogue Arrow I don't really remember anymore...
Aventurine: Don't worry if you can't remember. That's not important.
Icon Dialogue Arrow That's right. I was the champion.
Aventurine: No wonder you're so confident.
Aventurine: The final championship bout will be brought to you in its entirety by SoulGlad™. Track decorations and props will be swapped out accordingly. Perhaps that'll give (Team Raccoon BlitzTeam Raccoon Blitz) a little taste of home-court advantage.
Robin: Now that's what I'm talking about. This is exactly what the "Cosmic Cup" is all about!
Ratite: ...Sorry to interrupt, everyone. I'm afraid the next race won't be so easy. Kira—
Kira Yoshikestrel: To give the "Cosmic Cup" an explosive surge in popularity, I tampered with the SoulGlad™ venue props. I call it the "Remote Detonation: Contact Bomb."[Note 14]
Kira Yoshikestrel: The only trigger device for the bomb has been installed on the racing cars of (Team Raccoon BlitzTeam Raccoon Blitz).
Kira Yoshikestrel: It's a speed detection device. If you take the lead and win, every car explodes. If you drop out or fall behind, all the bombs go dead.
Ratite: The entire cosmos will bear witness to your agonizing decision: Blow it all up, or go down in failure?
Ratite: I've already got a title for the video: (Team Raccoon BlitzTeam Raccoon Blitz), Don't You Dare Ruin the Race for Everyone.
Icon Dialogue Talk This kind of backstory is usually saved for after the race starts...
Ratite: You make a fair point! But... if I tell you now, I can catch your reaction on camera.
Icon Dialogue Talk Ratite, what a stereotypical villain.
Aventurine: This is what peak desperation looks like. Scraping the bottom of the barrel and calling it gold.
Ratite: Y—You don't know anything about me!
Icon Dialogue Arrow Aren't you worried we'd just rip out the trigger?
Ratite: You think I'm an idiot? You think I don't plan ahead? You think I haven't already thought of everything you just came up with?
Ratite: Kira, kill any last bit of hope they have—
Kira Yoshikestrel: The race's about to start. There's no time left! What you lack is not the skill to defuse the bomb, but time!
Kira Yoshikestrel: ...Unless you can defuse a bomb while street racing at the same time.
Topaz: Easy. Numby drives, I defuse.
Numby: Oink~
Ratite: ...
Icon Dialogue Arrow Was this part of your plan too, Ratite?
Icon Dialogue Arrow All that big talk, and it's over just like that?
Icon Dialogue Arrow "Race Against Death,"[Note 15] fin!
The silence is deafening.
Ratite: Come on, Kira, you must have some other ace up your sleeve, right? Don't just keep quiet!
Kira Yoshikestrel: Quietude is not indicative of my mistake, sadness is not the only outcome, I just have not figured out yet what I should say...
Ratite: ...Shut up! Why are you still standing around!? Let's head back and beat them fair and square. What was the point of that whole bomb stunt anyway...!
Icon Dialogue Arrow Beat us fair and square? That's an even worse bet for you.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Go wait for your suspension notice.
Ratite slunk away with his tail between his legs. On the way back, his mind wandered: his childhood dreams, the fumbling chaos of filming his very first video. He was better suited to being an internet celebrity, not a glamorous villain.
Ratite: Hey, narrator, quit acting like I'm already destined to lose!
Nihilux: Actually... I can defuse bombs too, so...
Nihilux: Could we... could we maybe save this high-exposure viral video opportunity for our little Mummicat? Poor Mummicat barely gets any screen time as it is, and it never speaks up for itself, so someone's gotta look out for it, and I guess that someone is me...
(Trailblazer): ...You're unbelievable. All you ever think about is Mummicat sales figures.
Nihilux: Please, please, please.
(Trailblazer): Okay, let me think about it...
Robin: Now that you've made up your mind, (Trailblazer), it's time to carefully decide who'll be competing next.

Topaz and Numby don't seem to have any intention of using the "God of Traffic (Laws)" to push through some outrageous changes to traffic regulations.
Maybe that's what it means to be a big shot at the Interastral Peace Corporation, knowing what power can do, and knowing when to say no to it.
A few obscure companies mentioned in the Epsilon stock report suddenly received notices of lifted transport bans and reduced tariffs, sending their share prices soaring. One can only wonder how much Director Topaz pocketed from all this.
It's just another day in the cosmos.

Speak with Robin and Aventurine

UI Adventure Mission Mission Description

You've claimed back-to-back championships in the Astropolis Cup and the Cosmic Cup, becoming the first legendary racing team of this new tournament.
As your vacation in Astropolis draws to a close, you and your old friends look back on the journey. From building a team from scratch to sharing a whole summer's worth of laughs and sweat...
Make a few more memories to cap off this holiday.
(Talk to Robin or Aventurine)
Aventurine: The organizers want all the competing teams to take a group photo together, and they're just waiting on you. But before that...
Robin: We do have one small request, though.
Icon Dialogue Arrow One small request?
Icon Dialogue Arrow So mysterious...
Aventurine: Teaming up to overcome the Ratite's challenge, then building a team to nab the championship. Looking back, this vacation turned out to be quite the adventure.
Robin: But vacations never last long enough.
Robin: When it's about to end, I always find myself wanting to hold on just a little longer.
Robin: So, this one small request of mine is... I was hoping we could get a photo, just the three of us, the original founding team. What do you say?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Strike a pose, best associates on Astropolis.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Say cheese! I look forward to every single event!
Aventurine: Behind us is our pit garage, we've cooked up quite a few tactics in there.
Robin: These two cars carried us, (Team Raccoon BlitzTeam Raccoon Blitz), across the finish line together, and got drenched in champagne with us.
(Trailblazer): Now, let's capture every thrilling, heart-fluttering memory from our Astropolis vacation and freeze it all in a photograph...
Icon Dialogue Arrow (Capture memories of the vacation. Camera ready.)

Speak with Argenti

Argenti: (Trailblazer), do you have a moment?
(Talk to Argenti)
Argenti: What a beautiful scene, it makes me want to join you all in offering gratitude to the Goddess of Victory for her favor.
Argenti: That said, that moment was meant to be shared exclusively between the three of you.
Picture missing
Argenti: The organizers have commissioned me to design a customized champion's trophy for you and your team, and so I come to you with an inquiry...
Icon Dialogue Talk Customized trophy?
Argenti: Unlike Starflux, this race has no established tradition, so a brand-new trophy will need to be made from scratch.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Inquiry about what?
Argenti: This tournament is destined to carry on from this very edition, unbroken, unending, until it becomes a new legend of the racing world.
Argenti: This trophy will also record the champion teams of each generation, becoming history together in the future. The organizer hopes to engrave a motto on the trophy base, and as the starting point of a legend, there is truly no one better suited than you all.
Argenti: Dear friend, what motto will you choose to leave behind?
Icon Dialogue Arrow Let's make sure this trophy runs out of room for any more champions~
Argenti: Oh, my! What a most beautiful aspiration.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Lock it in.
Icon Dialogue Return Give me another minute...
Argenti: No rush, dear friend. Take all the time you need.
Icon Dialogue Arrow We've had our victories. Now it's your turn.
Argenti: Only a champion can carry that kind of swagger. I love it.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Lock it in.
Icon Dialogue Return Give me another minute...
Argenti: No rush, dear friend. Take all the time you need.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Being the Traffic God for only a day is really useless...
Argenti: Sounds like a warning. A little late for that, though.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Lock it in.
Icon Dialogue Return Give me another minute...
Argenti: No rush, dear friend. Take all the time you need.
Icon Dialogue Arrow If you're reading this: You're looking at the bottom of a trophy.
Argenti: It sounds so nonsensical, but so characteristic of you, friend.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Lock it in.
Icon Dialogue Return Give me another minute...
Argenti: No rush, dear friend. Take all the time you need.
Icon Dialogue Arrow So you have this super-speedy mechanical units in here too?[Note 16]
Argenti: That's a completely raw, unfiltered thought.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Lock it in.
Icon Dialogue Return Give me another minute...
Argenti: No rush, dear friend. Take all the time you need.
Argenti: Wonderful, then it's settled! By the way, the trophy will eventually need to be returned to the organizer, but you all will keep a permanent one-to-one replica as a memento.

Gepard: Rest assured, the organizers have already received the report. We'll be launching an investigation shortly.

Kira Yoshikestrel: Ugh, all I wanted was a quiet life... Can't we just go back to the way things were?
Boothill: Go back to your wubbaboo!
Rappa: So what Silvergun Shura means is, we worked so hard to find the "Narrator," there's no turning back now.
"Narrator": Does that mean that I'm that hard to find?
Acheron: Where is this place? Why am I still here?
Numby: Oink, oink oink.
Acheron: I see...
Nihilux: Meow meow, meow meow meow meow.
Acheron: Very well. I'll consider making a purchase.
Topaz: I still can't quite believe you three actually understand each other.
