Acheron, real name Raiden Bosenmori Mei (Japanese: 雷電忘川守芽衣),^[1] is a playable character in Honkai: Star Rail.

A drifter claiming to be a Galaxy Ranger, though she is later revealed to be a Self-Annihilator. She walks the cosmos alone, carrying with her a long sword.

Though aloof and taciturn, her blade flicks out like lashing lightning. And yet, she always strikes with her scabbard, never drawing the sword free.^[10]

She is also an Emanator of Nihility.^[3]

Rainblade: Deals Lightning DMG equal to 14.4%—25.92% of Acheron's ATK to a single target enemy and removes up to 3 stacks of Crimson Knot from the target. When Crimson Knot is removed, immediately deals Lightning DMG equal to 9%—16.2% of Acheron's ATK to all enemies. For every stack of Crimson Knot removed, this DMG Multiplier is additionally increased, up to a maximum of 36%—64.8%.

Stygian Resurge: Deals Lightning DMG equal to 72%—129.6% of Acheron's ATK to all enemies and remove all Crimson Knots.

Crimson Knot cannot be applied to enemies during the Ultimate.

When Slashed Dream reaches 9 point(s), the Ultimate can be activated. During the Ultimate, reduces enemies' Toughness regardless of Weakness Types and reduces all enemies' All-Type RES by 10%—22%, lasting until the end of the Ultimate.
When any unit inflicts debuffs on an enemy target while using their ability, Acheron gains 1 point of Slashed Dream and inflicts 1 stack of Crimson Knot on a target. If debuffs are inflicted on multiple targets, then the 1 stack of Crimson Knot will be inflicted on the enemy target with the most Crimson Knot stacks. This effect can only trigger once for every ability use.
After an enemy target exits the field or gets defeated by any unit while Acheron is on the field, their Crimson Knot stacks will be transferred to the enemy target with the most Crimson Knot stacks on the whole field.

Acheron's Bonus Ability, Red Oni, grants her 5 points of Slash Dream and inflicts 5 stacks of Crimson Knot to a random enemy when battle starts.
- Red Oni can convert every Slashed Point that exceeds the limit of 9 points into 1 stack of Quadrivalent Ascendance, stacking up to 3 times. After using her Ultimate, Slashed Dream Cries in Red, Quadrivalent Ascendance stack(s) will be converted into the same number of Slashed Dream Point(s) and inflict the same number of Crimson Knot stack(s).
For debuffs that are inflicted on an enemy target by characters when battle starts, if the respective character initiates battle with their overworld attack, Acheron can gain 1 point of Slashed Dream and inflict 1 stack of Crimson Knot.
- As a result, abilities such as Black Swan's Goblet's Dredges and Silver Wolf's Zombie Network can grant Acheron 1 point of Slashed Dream if the respective character initiates battle with their overworld attack.
When a debuff is inflicted on an enemy target during an Action (including Follow-Up Action), she gains 1 point of Slashed Dream and inflicts 1 stack of Crimson Knot.
- This includes the Burn DoT inflicted by Light Cone Trend of the Universal Market during an enemy's action, the Ashen Roast debuff inflicted by Jiaoqiu's Ultimate Pyrograph Arcanum during an enemy's action, debuffs inflicted on an enemy when they are summoned by an enemy's ability, etc.
- If Black Swan uses her Technique From Façade to Vérité, Acheron will gain 1 point of Slashed Dream when battle starts, and 1 point of Slashed Dream during the Follow-Up Action of From Façade to Vérité.
Acheron's Skill, Octobolt Flash, grants her 1 point of Slashed Dream and inflicts 1 stack of Crimson Knot on the main target enemy.
When Crimson Knot stack(s) are transferred and there is no other enemy with Crimson Knot, they will have a higher priority to be transferred to an Elite Enemy or Boss Enemy; if there are both Elite and Boss enemies in this case, Crimson Knot will be transferred to one of them randomly.
The All-Type RES Reduction debuff inflicted when Acheron uses her Ultimate can trigger the 4-Piece effect of Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters: "After the wearer inflicts a debuff on enemy targets, the aforementioned effects increase by 100%, lasting for 1 turn(s)."

Quadrivalent Ascendance: After using the Ultimate, Acheron gains 1 point(s) of Slashed Dream and inflicts 1 stack(s) of Crimson Knot on a single random enemy.
If attacking a normal enemy, immediately defeats them without entering combat. When not hitting enemies, no Technique Points are consumed.

This Technique cannot instantly defeat Trotters or Lordly Trashcans in the overworld or Simulated Universe domains. It can defeat Trotters in the "Trotter Catch" minigame of Simulated Universe, but it still consumes Technique Points.
Acheron's Bonus Ability, Red Oni, increases the maximum stackable count for Quadrivalent Ascendance to 3.
