Empousa is an NPC on Amphoreus, located in "Bloodbathed Battlefront" Castrum Kremnos and Beyond Time: An Eternal Page.

She appears after completing the "Time for a decisive battle with Nikador!" step during Kremnos, Cleanse Thy Rusted Blood (II).

Empousa: *hic*... Such a momentous day, of course we must have a drink with... *hic* sanguine honey brew. Praise King Eurypon and his warriors!

Why are you hiccupping?

Empousa: Don't mind me... *hic* I just drank too quickly. The sanguine honey brew at the celebration is sweet as nectar itself. It may just be pomegranate juice, but it surely evokes a different flavor when drank at a feast.

Sanguine honey brew?

Empousa: Yes... *hic* The designated beverage of Kremnos warriors. It may just be pomegranate juice, but drinking it at a feast brings out an extraordinarily sweet flavor within.

Empousa: True Kremnos guardians should slake their thirst in blood! ...But for someone like me who'd never get a chance to step foot on the battlefield, I'll have to make do with this honey brew.

Empousa: This stuff invigorates both body and mind, enriches your blood and improves its circulation. Wounds or no, you can't go wrong with a cup a day. When you're done with the trial, I'll help you prep a cup too — if you make it out alive, that is. Haha!

Why do you call pomegranate juice fresh blood?

Empousa: You mean this sanguine honey brew? Haha... *hic* ...Lemme tell you a horrifying secret — this stuff didn't use to be made from pomegranates, though I wouldn't know if this was true.

Empousa: The honey brew we're drinking now is a creation of Phagousa's disciples. Back when Nikador was humiliated by Phagousa, the former ordered the latter to offer their citizens' blood as an apology, or they'd personally drain the blood from the people...

Empousa: Phagousa's nature isn't so brutal. In replacement, they gave Nikador pomegranate juice which looked a lot like blood, and had their disciples distribute them into the hands of everyone in Castrum Kremnos... *hic* This sure is tasty. When you think about it, actual blood probably tastes all fishy and salty, no...?

Empousa: Anyway, Nikador had a sip of this fine brew imbued with divinity, expressed utter satisfaction, and rescinded the punishment on Phagousa's city, with knowledge of the honey brew's production as a condition.

Empousa: The Kremnoans later improved upon this recipe, turning it into what we drink today. Even Phagousa's disciples can't get its flavor down completely!

Empousa: ...*sigh* Back then, Nikador was so valiant and mighty, able to subdue entire armies with just their spear tip. But now...

You sure you're fine drinking so much?

Empousa: I'm awright... Even if this honey brew was blessed by Phagousa, it'll only keep one heartily indulged without any of the drunkenness...

Empousa: And to a Kremnos Guardian, a belly's capacity is also part of battle ability — heroes must be good at both fighting and drinking! How else would we last through the victory banquet!

Empousa: I'll tell you another little secret: Our crown prince loves pomegranate juice, too. He usually prefers adding milk to it to get it all pinky. It's hilarious! Don't tell anyone else about this, though...

Georgious: Well, that was unexpected. I thought it would take way longer.

Empousa: *hic* Talanton is so unfair, and Oronyx is even more biased. Fate threw us into the midst of strife, yet denied us the chance to join that final battle.

Empousa: I wish I could've seen that— *hic* —winning moment with my own eyes!

The special effects are maxed out, and the spectacle is absolutely mind-blowing.

Everyone was fighting back and forth. It was total chaos.

Aulus: Haha, at least we did our duty. Time to treat ourselves to a celebration feast!

Aulus: I've heard about all the amazing food outside Castrum Kremnos from others. There's such a mouthwatering variety. I'm practically drooling just thinking about it!

Aulus: Listen up, warriors! Our victory feast lacks one final ingredient. Who dares to follow in the Kremnoan king's footsteps and slay the overlord of the Sea of Souls? Let's turn those ship-crushing tentacles into tonight's delicacy!

Erinys: Time for me to step up! There's no battle to rush to, no glory to defend, and nowhere to show off the skills I've honed since childhood. I'm getting pretty bored here.

Herklas: Heh, you? You don't even have the strength to arm wrestle with it. Better train for a few more years. The merit of conquering it will be mine alone.

Erinys: Don't fight me over this, buddy!
