Eurypon is an NPC on Amphoreus, located in "Bloodbathed Battlefront" Castrum Kremnos's and "Dragonbone City" Styxia's Fragments of Recollections and Beyond Time: An Eternal Page.
He was the king of Castrum Kremnos before it fell to ruins, as well as the father of Mydei and husband of Queen Gorgo.
Profile
Eurypon was a proud warrior who, like his predecessors, was crowned king of Castrum Kremnos by slaying his own father. According to Gorgo, he had once wished to end the tradition of patricide in Castrum Kremnos, but along the way, his greed and malice consumed him. After hearing a prophecy that his son would one day bring an end to the Kremnoan Dynasty, Eurypon grew paranoid and cast Mydei into the River of Souls as a sacrifice in an attempt to prevent the prophecy.

After Gorgo sent Mydeimos to the Grove of Epiphany, Eurypon restarted the Kremnos Festival to search for a King's Aegis champion that would satisfy him. A long time passed and Mydei eventually learned that Eurypon attempted to reignite the Chrysos War, raising arms against former allies and rallying an army to attack the Grove. When Mydei arrived to greet the incoming attackers, he was shocked to see the King's Aegis was Anaxa. It is implied that Eurypon was impressed by Anaxa's unconventional use of alchemy and appointed him as his Aegis for the war.[6]

King Eurypon was king during the time before Castrum Kremnos fell to ruins. He proposed to Gorgo at the Kremnos Festival and made Krateros the Master Primus of the Watchers. According to Krateros, Eurypon was eventually "bewitched by traitors," leading him to "wish his own flesh and blood dead."[7] Because of Castrum Kremnos' tradition of every new king killing the reigning king to ascend to the throne, along with a prophecy foretelling Mydei's eventual ascension, King Eurypon cast Mydei into the River of Souls shortly after his birth, attempting to kill him before he could grow up.[8] However, Mydei survived due to his curse of immortality, and years later, killed Eurypon during the Kremnoan Detachment's battle against Castrum Kremnos.
Eurypon was also the one who split Nikador's divinity into four fragments in an effort to immortalize their body and turn their blade against Okhema and Kephale.[9]

In Light Calendar Year 3959, the fifty-year peace treaty between Okhema and Castrum Kremnos came to an end. That same year, Eurypon was crowned king of Castrum Kremnos. Together with his wife, Gorgo, he led his forces against Okhema near the Dolos Riverbed, claiming they had come at the request of Janusopolis to protect the Titan of Law, Talanton, and to halt the march of the Flame-Chase Army. Both Eurypon and Gorgo personally entered the battlefield, where they fought Labienus and Seneca to a standstill. The four leaders later withdrew to their tents for a private discussion, though the content of their talks remains unknown. Not long afterward, Castrum Kremnos withdrew its forces, allowing the Flame-Chase Army to resume its advance.[2]
In Light Calendar Year 4123, Eurypon and his son, Mydei, joined forces with Okhema to help defend it against the advances of Lygus.[10]
He was also a Chrysos Heir in this eternal recurrence.[2]

- Gorgo: King Eurypon, do not underestimate this frail-looking warrior who stands before you. My name is Gorgo. I have come to claim the one wreath. Even if it is you who stands against me, my spear will not hesitate.
- Eurypon: Your name is Gorgo? Haha! Your parents have some arrogance! Do they not know that was the name of the one that built Kremnos?
- Gorgo: It was not my parents who named me this. I once killed a lion with my bare hands, achieving a feat similar to that of Gorgo: "Conqueror of Lions."
- Gorgo: From that moment on, I changed my name to Gorgo. I will follow the example of that previous ruler and carve out a glorious new future for Castrum Kremnos with my own blood!
- Eurypon: Very well... Then raise your spear, Gorgo!
- The spear of Gorgo and the blade of Eurypon clashed, and they struggled against each other on the battlefield like two clones of Nikador, as blood and dust streaked through the air.
- After a few rounds of battle, both warriors came to a halt. Eurypon's thigh had been pierced by Gorgo's spear, and the wound on Gorgo's throat threatened to take her life if it grew an inch deeper.

- Gorgo: Just what I would expect of a king... Now that you cannot move, and my weapon is out of my hands, I fear that we must call this a draw. Though I'm certain that I have earned myself that wreath, have I not?
- Eurypon: ...No.
- Gorgo: My king, if you are not yet satisfied... Then take my head as the king... However, this has nothing to do with victory or defeat. The battle is over, and I just simply do not wish to shed meaningless blood.
- Eurypon: ...You misunderstand me. Just now, if you had managed to last ten rounds against me, the crown would be rightfully yours.
- Eurypon: If your spear had pierced my throat or my heart, you could have taken the crown and been bathed in the blood of Kremnos as the new ruler.

- Gorgo: Mydeimos, the prince that I carry in my body, will be born to this world in a number of months. He has inherited the iron bones of myself and King Eurypon and been bathed in the divine light of Nikador day and night. He must become the new King of Kremnos.
- Gorgo: When that time comes, would you become his mentor? Teach him martial arts, protect him from malicious plots, and give your life to protect his throne when he becomes king, as you have with King Eurypon?

- Eurypon: I know what you are thinking... A determined and talented warrior like Gorgo will not simply sit back and watch as we take Mydeimos' life.
