Description

If we were to compose a list of the most famous mortals in the entire cosmos, then Louis Fleming — the man famous for seven hundred and so Amber Eras — must have his name there. He is the founder of the Interastral Peace Corporation, a bona fide life-time member of the Board of Directors, and the only person who had attended all 14,600 board meetings. He is also the most powerful person in the universe after the Aeons. As the IPC's biggest stakeholder, Louis Fleming's wealth is now literally beyond count. Many even joked that this mysterious tycoon is the Aeon of "Wealth."

Some are convinced that Louis Fleming is only a legend. No mortal body can possibly endure such an eternity. Some surmised that "Louis" is a name inherited by generations of the same family. Some believed Director Fleming is a myth deliberately maintained by the IPC. Some believed the man used his wealth to obtain immortality. Some claimed Louis had turned himself into data and discarded his mortal shell. Some even said Director Fleming had already ascended and became a god... The official line from the Interastral Peace Corporation is that Louis Fleming had definitely existed and still exists. Apart from that, all other information about the man remains top-class secrets.

History

Nearly 800 Amber Eras ago, Louis Fleming and Dongfang Qixing were part of a support team dedicated to supplying Qlipoth with building materials for THEIR wall. Using their cunning, they were able to expand the support team from a group that only purchased construction materials to a large business that bought all sorts of items to trade with other planets that have the resources they want. About 30 Amber Eras later, the two of them announce the reform of the support team into the Interastral Peace Corporation.^[2] Louis Fleming made a passionate speech in front of the support team about his aspirations to unite the universe and supporting Qlipoth's wishes to protect the universe. As soon as he finished his speech, the distant and loud sound of a cosmic impact sounded, injecting a lofty calling into this solemn moment. This speech became a historical practice that still remains a part of the IPC recruit training methods to this day.^[3]

As the IPC's biggest stakeholder, his wealth is beyond count, and many jokingly refer to him as the Aeon of "Wealth."^[1] He initiated Operation Cuckoo Clock, explaining in a speech that the IPC needed to protect its presence and remain vigilant against the threat of Finality. To that end, a series of cuckoo clocks were created to collect information regarding Terminus.^[4] He also created Faith Bonds, which can be purchased by IPC staff once they are promoted to level P40 and represents his affirmation of that individual.^[5]

Near the end of the Borderstar Trade War, Louis Fleming decided to permanently retire from all official and unofficial events and gave a speech announcing his intentions. Just as he was finishing his speech, Fuli suddenly appeared before him and the two locked eyes. It was unknown if they exchanged words. After Fuli disappeared, Fleming walked off the stage and was never seen again.^[6] Herta believes that Dongfang Qixing and Polka Kakamond had something to do with his retirement.^[7]

Due to his advanced age of over 700 Amber Eras, some believed that he was only a legend created by the IPC, or that Louis Fleming was a name inherited by generations of the same family. Some theorized that he used his wealth to obtain immortality, that he turned himself into data and discarded his body, or that he ascended and became a god. The IPC maintains that he has definitely existed and still exists, but other information on Louis Fleming remains top-secret.^[1]
