Trianne is an NPC on Amphoreus who sometimes appears in "Eternal Holy City" Okhema and Beyond Time: An Eternal Page. She is one of the three remaining fragments of Tribios, the first demigod of the Chrysos Heirs, along with Tribbie and Trinnon.

Profile

Trianne is one of a thousand fragments of Tribios after she took the Coreflame of Janus. She, along with Tribbie and Trinnon, survived over the years while their "siblings" disappeared.

History

Trianne served as the main gatekeeper for the Century Gate when the Trailblazer first arrived on Amphoreus, though each use would expend her life and weaken her. According to Aglaea and Tribbie, they believed that Trianne would only have enough power to use two more Century Gates.[6]

When the Grove failed to respond to Okhema, Trianne was sent alongside the Trailblazer and Castorice to investigate, only to discover that the Black Tide had reached it. They navigated their way to the top, where they encountered a mysterious entity that sought the Coreflames. The entity told them to leave, as they were not demigods, but they fought to prevent them from acquiring Anaxa's Coreflame. The Flame Reaver was too strong for the three to handle, so Trianne was forced to use the Century Gate in order to displace him. The act resulted in Trianne having short-term amnesia and not being able to telepathically communicate with her "siblings."[7]

After recovering, the trio headed to the Abyss of Fate to get an audience with Oronyx. They attempted to search for some "saffron" to no avail, so they ended up going straight to the Titan instead. To their surprise, the Titan was no longer there, and Trinnon sensed someone was approaching. The Flame Reaver appeared and ambushed them, realizing that they were demigods, separating Trianne from Tribbie and Trinnon. To protect them, Trianne used the Century Gate once more to bring them to Okhema, aware that it would result in her demise. Shortly afterwards, Krateros arrived and confronted the Flame Reaver, who had lost all interest in Trianne. Krateros fought the Flame Reaver valiantly, preventing them from taking Trianne. Her body was reverted to a doll when Tribbie returned with Hyacine, and she was given a memorial service following the Flame Reaver's defeat.[8]

Trianne's soul would later be encountered by the Trailblazer and Castorice while exploring "Dragonbone City" Styxia, finding her at the top of Styxia's tower. Trianne was surprised to see them, Mem and Mydei, though she had been waiting for Castorice to return. She handed Castorice a drawing of the Chrysos Heirs and the "visitors" from the sky. Castorice appreciated it and smiled, delighting Trianne before she disappeared.[9]

Location

After completing Trailblaze Mission Hero, Bear Thy Coreflame, Trianne may randomly appear in "Eternal Holy City" Okhema. After completing Trailblaze Mission Passages, Knocking Echoes in Dreams, she will no longer appear:

Hyacine: Welcome, Grayie! But I need to attend to the two patients first, so you'll have to take care of yourself for a while.

Trianne: Trianne, it was just an accident...
Cipher: Ahem. Gray Mystery, you know the drill, if you see through something, keep it to yourself, got it?
Hyacine: Heh... This should be a peaceful haven, free of illness, with no Cleaners prying and no Black Tide Creatures lurking.
Hyacine: But some people just can't sit still and are always looking for something fun to do. Isn't that right, Trianne, Ciphie?
Cipher: Wh—What!? Ciphie?
Cipher: I was just taking the chance to test your medical skills. Don't get too full of yourself, Grove girl.
Trianne: Mind your manners, Little Ciphy. Show some respect to the doctor!

Hyacine: Such a practiced response, looks like Grayie is well-versed in the examination routine too.
Icon Dialogue Arrow What kind of formidable enemy could hurt you all?
Trianne: No one else is to blame, it was Trianne!
Trianne: Well... here's what happened. Trianne wanted a rocket to soar higher and farther!
Trianne: But the firepower was too strong. Trianne lost control of her aim, and the rocket went whoosh as it fell, landing right on her head...
Hyacine: Trianne, make sure to dodge next time!
Hyacine: And you, Ciphie? A doctor needs the full story to make an accurate diagnosis.
Cipher: Uh... well, I was just sitting around, so I thought I'd tweak the Hand of Zagreus on a whim.
Cipher: Turns out, the little toy's aim was decent, but the firepower was lacking. Just when I was getting into it, it fizzled out midair.
Trianne: Little Ciphy, did you hit your head too?
Cipher: Not exactly, it landed right in the middle of a group of elders. They were gossiping away when it happened, and it caused an uproar! They chased me halfway down the street, and I ended up stepping on my tail in the chaos.
Icon Dialogue Arrow Hard to believe it wasn't on purpose.
Cipher: I swear, it was totally an accident! At least this time. But I just thought of something...

Cipher: Combine the two, you mean...
Cipher: If we use the Hand of Zagreus to guide big sis Trianne's rockets—
Trianne: Then use Trianne's rockets to give the Hand some firepower! That way, the rockets will fly faster and more accurately!
Trianne: Little Ciphy, let's try it right away! And thanks to you too, Cinny!
Cipher: Thanks, Grove girl!
Hyacine: Haha... Even a dromas couldn't stop them. There's just no dealing with them.
Hyacine: But Grayie, Trianne, and Ciphie look so full of energy, there's no need to worry!
