[Hollow] Aerospace City

[Hollow] Aerospace City, also known as Zenith Aerospace City or just Aerospace City, is an Area in Zenless Zone Zero.

Overview

Unlike other areas, Aerospace City is not a single in-game location, but rather an area that encompasses several Investigation Zones. Investigation Zones give the player access to most system functions available in normal city areas, as well as allowing the use of Agent Combat Skills. These zones can be navigated through Fissure Beacons, which act as teleport points and restore the HP of Agents in close proximity.

History

Aerospace City was originally home to Eridu's early aerospace research facilities. The city had a large employee community where tens of thousands of people lived, as well as a cluster of affordable apartment buildings provided for temporary workers. Aerospace technology would initially be tested at Aerospace Station, and their research results underwent large-scale testing to verify feasibility and optimize details.^[1] Massive facilities were also built in the Timesworn Hills for simulation and data collection to support rocket launch projects.^[2]

At some point in time, the aerospace project was terminated and the city transitioned into a Porcelume production base. Porcelumex also acquired ownership of the area. The facilities in Timesworn Hills were abandoned, while production zones were built to process and refine raw Lumite Ore into Porcelume. The research center changed its focus from aerospace technology to Porcelume materials.^[3]

Aerospace City was swallowed up by Lemnian Hollow during the Fall of the Old Capital,^[3] though the Ether-stable area at its edge is still being used to mine and produce Porcelume today.^[4][5]
