Bane of Evil is an event-exclusive Baddieboo NPC who first appeared during the "Spirit" Artist's Notebook event.
Profile
Bane of Evil is a Baddieboo with a slight deviation in its internal structure, granting it far greater observation skills than a typical Bangboo. It operates as a self-made detective, and has a strong sense of justice, but is also inexperienced and cowardly. It also has basic art skills, creating wanted posters for those it wished to investigate.
History
Wanting to investigate various villainous characters, Bane of Evil sought out an assistant for its detective work, and after asking around Sixth Street, was directed towards who everyone agreed was the most capable Bangboo around: Eous.
Eous and Phaethon agreed to help Bane of Evil in its endeavours, but its investigations ended up being more misunderstandings, leading to it creating wanted posters for Rina, Grace, Soukaku and Vivian, all of whom then explained their situation to Bane of Evil, who realized the problem and took down its wanted posters. Grace noted there was something unique about the Bangboo, identifying an odd frequency in it, but it refused to allow her to dismantle it and find out the cause.
After this, it ran in to Jane, who was dealing with some criminals on behalf of Public Security. Having managed to get by her without her noticing, the Baddieboo drew Jane's eye, though it ultimately ran off to ask Eous and Phaethon for help, believing her to be another criminal. After meeting up with her and explaining the situation, she examined Bane of Evil herself, and noted the slight deviation in it had granted it much greater observation skills than a typical Bangboo, and even offered it a chance to cooperate with PubSec.
This was a dream come true for Bane of Evil, who then went with Jane to begin a new chapter in its life.
