The liquid inside Blazing Laurel is likely a reference to Greek Fire, an incendiary weapon used by the Byzatine Empire that is akin to napalm. Both were secret weapons used by old civilizations in naval warfare.
On release, the text on Blazing Laurel's front read "Lighter Lorenz," but was later‍^[when?] changed to "Blazing Laurel."
