Mors

Mors is a Wolf Thiren^[2] and an NPC who first appeared in Phaethon's Story Chapter 4: Tour de Inferno (A) and Tour de Inferno (B).

Profile

Mors is a member of The Vanquishers biker gang in the Outer Ring. He helped Lucius sabotage the Sons of Calydon prior to the Tour de Inferno race, against Overlord Pompey's wishes. Though he was loyal to Lucius, he seemed ignorant to the man's true intentions.

History

Shortly after the fall of the old capital, Mors and Pompey found a young Yidhari Murphy at the edge of the Outer Ring Hollow.^[3]

Mors was first seen in Outer Ring Journey, where he helped Lucius force Phaethon and Billy Kid to drive into a Hollow while on their way to Blazewood. Later, on Lucius's orders, Mors planted listening devices in Kasa's deliveries so he could spy on the Sons of Calydon's operations.^[4] Though he was caught by Pompey due to Caesar and Lucy's intervention, he claimed he acted alone.

Mors joined Pompey and Lucius in the Tour de Inferno race.^[5] He once again helped Lucius sabotage Caesar, Lucy, and Lighter by blowing up their portion of the track. However, the three survived and caught up to him, chasing him away. He then followed Lucius after the latter was defeated by the Sons of Calydon.^[6]

He later took part to the Hollow Champion Competition, where he was hired to ambush contestants and threaten them into breaking their Ethereal cards to forfeit.^[7]

• Mors means "death" in Latin. It is the Roman counterpart of the Greek deity Thanatos.
