The Race From Which a Hero Was Born is a Combat Story commission. It is unlocked during Chapter 4 of Phaethon's Story.

Gameplay Notes
- In Trial Mode, the squad is limited to
Caesar King, Lighter, Luciana de Montefio and Red Moccus.
- Upon starting the commission, the squad will be limited to Caesar. After Rendezvous, Lighter and Lucy will join the squad.
- During the race at the start of the commission, 2 achievements can be awarded:
- Crashing into less than 5 obstacles awards the Hollow Exploration Guide achievement Perfect Drift.
- Finishing the race within 150 seconds awards the Hollow Exploration Guide achievement Outer Ring Speed Legend.
