Photo Mode, or simply the Camera, is a game system that lets the player take and save photographs during their journey through New Eridu. It can be accessed by pressing the Camera button during gameplay or accessing the Shortcut Wheel.
The camera is inaccessible during HDD Commissions and some story segments, as well as most combat encounters (excluding certain Photography Events).
Settings
Three camera modes are available:
While taking a photo, the player can move their viewpoint around, adjust zoom, modify photo style, reset camera, and hide UI. Additionally, the player character can move around while in Scenic mode.

Exclusive Showcase
By participating in Deadly Assault: Adversity Mode and reaching certain scores, Investigation Certificates can be earned. These can be used to purchase exclusive camera actions and cosmetics from the Logistics Shop.

- Certain frames and stickers are references to pop culture:
- The Classics Never Die frame is based on Kodachrome slides produced by the Kodak photography company.
- The Game On frame is an homage to the PlayStation's (PS1) game case design.
- The Bizarre frame is a reference to Stranger Things.
- Style Icon is based on Time Magazine.
- The Cursed Mirror sticker is a visual nod to Harry Potter.
- The K.O. and Fight!! stickers are inspired by Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, respectively.
