Huo Zhaohui

Huo Zhaohui, also known as Master Huo, is Lan's missing older brother. He and Talalikhin's uncle disappeared due to a freak accident with a Shadow Realm, although this did not become known until shortly before the Event Great Expeditionist Challenge.[1]
Profile
Huo Zhaohui and his younger sister Huo Lanling, better known now as Lan, were prominent martial artists in Liyue. Zhaohui owned a sword known as the Unseen Razor, and it was so iconic that when he allegedly died without it,[Note 1] Lan decided to search for its whereabouts.[2] Her search led her all the way to taking up S-rank commissions and becoming Liyue's Adventurers' Guild Branch Leader, but she still found no trace of the Unseen Razor. It was not until the Traveler took up her commission, the Liyue Commission Where Is the Unseen Razor?, that they were finally able to recover its hilt.[3] Since then, Lan has sought to reforge the sword, but its blueprint and records of the materials used to forge it have been lost.
Unbeknownst to Lan until shortly before the events of Great Expeditionist Challenge, Zhaohui had actually traveled to Snezhnaya and teamed up with Talalikhin's uncle in search of an "adamant material" which would forge the "perfect blade." The incident which caused them to disappear involved the Shadow Realm and was so complex that the Special Assignments Battalion only recently finished reviewing the report and divulged its contents to the Adventurers' Guild, which Talalikhin passed on to Lan.[1]

- ↑ In Where Is the Unseen Razor?, Lan states that the Unseen Razor "was not found on his person when he passed away," hence her search for it. The phrasing implies that she either saw his corpse, or someone identified his corpse and told her his sword was missing, which does not mesh with the assertion in Great Expeditionist Challenge that he went missing in Snezhnaya all along.
