Okikuni is an open-world NPC located in Mahavaipulya Chamber: Library, Mahavaipulya Chamber, Temple of Space after completing World Quest Counterfeit Classics in Series A Long Day in the Mountains: Chapter 1 - Paradise.

Okikuni is one of the "Uplifted," people chosen to be preserved as living memories in the Temple of Space.
He hails from a time before the Archon War, when the archipelago now known as Inazuma had not yet been unified by Ei and Makoto, and when the youkai still roamed the land. After being uplifted to the Temple of Space, he wrote and shared stories with Calcerius and Yu Huangyi. They based their novels on true events, altering storylines to create bizarre results. When Melanta learned of these stories, he deemed their work a pollutant and imprisoned them as paper within pages at the Mahavaipulya Chamber.[1]
During the World Quest Counterfeit Classics in Series A Long Day in the Mountains: Chapter 1 - Paradise, the Traveler and Paimon arrive at Mahavaipulya Chamber and find Calcerius, Okikuni, and Yu Huangyi trapped inside the pages. They free them and Yu Huangyi volunteers to accompany them on their quest to free the whole Mahavaipulya Chamber and its residents from Melanta's curse. They ultimately succeed and Calcerius, Okikuni, and Yu Huangyi go back to writing their stories.
