Sukhrab is an event-exclusive NPC who first appeared in the event Great Expeditionist Challenge.
Profile
Sukhrab is Hajanad's assistant at the Sumeru Akademiya and a member of the Adventurers' Guild. Formerly a hunter living north of Port Ormos, he snagged a commission to escort some researchers, which was how he came to meet Hajanad. She mentions buying a souvenir for him from the Wingalet's aquarium during Sunny Summer Fontinalia.[1]
During Great Expeditionist Challenge, Sukhrab and Lemta travel to Snezhnaya to represent the Sumeru Adventurers' Guild in the meeting.

- Sukhrab: The Shock-Boiling Device is in good condition. Its restraint components should be able to withstand another nineteen days of high-intensity operation... That will be sufficient.
What are you muttering about?
- Sukhrab: Interested? This is an alchemical mechanism known as the Shock-Boiling Device, designed to greatly enhance one's combat capabilities.
- Sukhrab: As long as you possess a certain degree of fighting ability to begin with, it can bring out combat power on par with a seasoned veteran.
- Sukhrab: And if you, like me, have tempered yourself through rigorous training and battle, then once you use it, you'll be able to perform at one hundred and twenty percent in every fight.
- Sukhrab: Sounds good, doesn't it? You can place an order with me now. Once I return to Sumeru, I'll let Professor Hajanad know, and she can arrange for the workshop to fit your order into the schedule.
- That name sounds familiar...
- Sukhrab: That's only natural. The Professor once said the device was created with "the help of the most brilliant person in the world," and that the experience felt "like two of the most wonderful dreams."
- Sukhrab: As the Akademiya gradually comes to recognize her academic achievements, I'm sure her story will reach more and more people.
- I don't know what it is, and I'm not interested.
- Sukhrab: Then you're passing up something valuable. Even the Corps of Thirty has started equipping a small number of its members with the Shock-Boiling Device, you know.
- Sukhrab: I'm sure Professor Hajanad will keep improving it until it's as affordable and reliable as a scimitar — a piece of support equipment that can help protect Sumeru even better.
- Sukhrab: And once her work earns the recognition it deserves, she'll be able to help even more people with that kind heart of hers...
- Sukhrab: ...If only her silly grin weren't so terrifying, she'd be perfect.
- You're from Sumeru?
- Sukhrab: That's right. Didn't think you'd be able to tell at a glance.
- Sukhrab: I used to live north of Port Ormos, making my living as a hunter. Back then, I hadn't seen much of the world...
- Sukhrab: Then I was fortunate enough to take on a temporary commission, escorting some scholars through an area crowded with Fungi while they carried out their research. That was when Professor Hajanad noticed me, and invited me to study under her at the Akademiya.
- Sukhrab: That was how I came to assist with her research and take on all kinds of adventuring commissions.
- Sukhrab: And now, with the Shock-Boiling Device's help, I've completed 137 A-rank commissions.
- Sukhrab: I may not have any extraordinary achievements, like clearing an S-rank commission, but I've always made up for it with diligence. That's how I earned the Guild's recommendation and came here to compete with Captain Lemta's team.
- Sukhrab: I just hope my final results will make the Professor proud...
