Character sets are NOT strictly unlocked by reaching certain Buzz Levels. Anecdotally, for 2 editors, all 5 sets were available at Buzz Level 2, except for Chenee and Frejus' dialogue variant in Set 1.

Set 1

Chenee's monologue is mutually exclusive with her dialogue with Frejus, which is unlocked after Transcription missing; only one version will be present when Set 1 is used in the aquarium.

(Talk to Chenee, by the aquarium entryway): Chenee: Hey there, (‍Traveler‍)! I heard you're the one managing the aquarium. It's all the rage lately!; Chenee: Well, I won't bother you. I'm just here to have a look... but I'll be back later for real!

(Talk to Potier, in front of Medium Aquarium Tank II): Potier: Ah, sights beneath the sea, shall I sing of thee~; Potier: You fish who swim within, to people joy you bring~

(Talk to Galathee, in front of Medium Aquarium Tank II): Galathee: One of my childhood dreams was to capture and tame a Hunter's Ray or some ferocious aquatic creature of a similar stripe.; Galathee: That was, after all, one of the requirements to become the "Lord of Hydro" in a certain classic adventure story.; Galathee: I never thought that someone could do this...

(Talk to Archenoul, in front of Medium Aquarium Tank III): Archenoul: Hmm... I never knew that these Fontemer creatures could be so cute... Once they've settled down, anyhow.; Archenoul: Word is that they've been especially irritable lately and will attack divers from a distance the instant they see them.; Archenoul: But now I get the sense that what they might need is time and space to rest, recover, and calm down.

(Talk to Chenee or Frejus, by the aquarium entryway): Chenee: What do you think? A quick walk out is just what the doctor ordered for your frustration with mathematical formulas, isn't it?; Frejus: You're right. I do feel like a fog's been lifted over my mind...!; Frejus: Would you like... to ask someone to take a picture for us?; Chenee: Hmm? I mean, sure... That doesn't sound like something you'd say, though.; Frejus: Oh, you know. We don't often come out together like this. Might as well commemorate it, right?

(Talk to Ninette, by the Curio Ledger counter): Ninette: If I could buy some of this underwater salvage and analyze their rate of corrosion over time...; Ninette: I might be able to make some progress on Kameras that can be used underwater for long periods to monitor the environment...; Ninette: Hehe, I'm sure Master will love this idea!

(Talk to Sonny, by the Curio Ledger counter): Sonny: The goods on sale are pretty good...; Sonny: Ah, hello there. A pleasure meeting you here.; Sonny: Don't worry, those regrettably... "dirty things" have become far less common lately. I'm just here to enjoy life a little.

(Talk to Zhunan or Inkanak, in front of Medium Aquarium Tank II): Zhunan: Wowww! Look at that fish... It looks like Grainfruit paste, don't you think? Or like that drink we had yesterday... I think they call it Fonta?; Inkanak: Haha, in what world? Also, keep your mind off food, would ya? The fish here aren't for sale. You can't eat 'em.; Zhunan: I know, I know. They make me happy, though.; Zhunan: I mean, isn't it so cool that we get to see this aquarium open for business on our first trip to Fontaine?

(Talk to Graciette or Trudaine, in front of Medium Aquarium Tank III): Graciette: This aquarium blends elegance and vitality... Ah, just watching the fish makes me feel several years younger.; Graciette: You know what? I'll get my husband to invest in this business the first chance I get.; Trudaine: A capital idea! I'll look into it too.; Trudaine: Still, the owner of this place doesn't appear short on money...

(Talk to Mela or Leuca, in front of Medium Aquarium Tank II): Mela: I feel like we could buy a giant fish tank just like they did here.; Mela: That way, we could raise enough Tidalga to fill the tank...; Leuca: And we could feed them fruit juice to make them change color, right?; Leuca: Hehe, our sisters will be in for a neat surprise next time they swing by!

(Talk to Vermeer, in front of Medium Aquarium Tank III): Vermeer: One cannot perceive the colors visible beneath the water from the surface.; Vermeer: How fascinating... Perhaps I should get a set of diving gear and see it for myself.

(Talk to Tres, located by the left-hand set of sofas when facing the aquarium entryway): Tres: "Let's rest before we train, and have our fill of fun before we work."; Tres: That's what we say, but you know what, this aquarium might be too relaxing. I barely wanna even think about another combat-load run.; Tres: ...Or about performing well in future marksmanship exchanges...

Set 4

(Talk to Jala, by the aquarium entryway): Jala: Ah, so this method can be used to reduce the threat of invasive species and aggressive fish...; Jala: Oh! We meet again, (‍Traveler‍).; Jala: Visiting this aquarium you're running has inspired me plenty in refining my theories on biological disaster prevention.

(Talk to Veta, in front of Medium Aquarium Tank II): Veta: Ooh, these fish are so pretty! They're so different from the ones in Snezhnaya... They feel warm, somehow?; Veta: Anyway, the staff here are amazing! If I had a fish tank as big as this at home, I'd buy pet fish in bulk!

(Talk to Areta, in front of Medium Aquarium Tank II): Areta: When safety is guaranteed, seeing the sights one would while diving brings cheer to both body and soul.; Areta: Perhaps we could use such large water tanks and exquisite landscapes to raise more peaceful fish, which could then serve some psychotherapeutic purposes?

(Talk to Rika, in front of Medium Aquarium Tank III): Rika: Hehe. Ah, dear fishies, I shall hire a master artist to depict you in comics...; Rika: Uh, wait, no. I don't have enough money to travel to Snezhnaya as things stand...; Rika: I don't even know how much I'd have left if I tried staying there for a while after the meeting...; Rika: Hmm. Should I find a place to work here in Fontaine instead?

Set 5

(Talk to Ottnit, by the Curio Ledger counter): Ottnit: Hmmm, the things you fish up from the water sure are shiny and pretty!; Ottnit: Would the others like it if I bought some for them?

(Talk to Semaine, by the Curio Ledger counter): Semaine: Indeed, these are all damaged goods that were once insured, although in 90% of the cases, those who lost the goods no longer bother with their whereabouts, and the last 10% might as well be ancient relics...; Semaine: Some of whom are so old they'll sell for high prices at auctions... Selling them to the citizenry is tantamount to self-inflicted daylight robbery.

(Talk to Lemta, in front of Medium Aquarium Tank II): Lemta: Ophelia was right. This aquarium is simply wonderful...; Lemta: Hmm. Should I do as she recommends and get a new hairdo, then?

(Talk to Joliot or Irimia, in front of Medium Aquarium Tank III): Joliot: Should we have a child who grows up healthy and bright, this might be the perfect place for them to visit once they are three... or perhaps four. Wouldn't you say so?; Irimia: Oh, yes. That would do much to smooth the rough edges off their character...
