History

Prehistory

• Unknown period
  • The Cocoon of Finality visited Mercury, though it ignored it as it was impossible to support life as it had no atmosphere, no seasons, and the dark soil constantly burnt under the hot sun.^[4]
  • The Cocoon visited Jupiter and noted that it was a planet where complex patterns filled the sky and that one of its satellites, likely Io, was damaged by tidal force and lava constantly spewed on its surface, covering the planet in sulfur.^[4]
  • The Cocoon visited Saturn, and noted that it was a gas giant with beautiful light, and that one of its satellites, likely Titan, remained dormant in its cradle, waiting for the light and warmth to bestow life upon it.^[4]
  • The Cocoon visited two ice giants with unending blizzards, Uranus and Neptune, noting that the former was an enchanting pastel blue and the latter a captivating cerulean blue, both cruel in its beauty, just like the galaxy.^[4]

• 1 billion years ago
  • Mars faces the threat of Finality and is on the edge of total destruction.^[5] The Cocoon of Finality attempted to foster a civilization on Mars, but failed as the cycles came to a standstill. The Cocoon left the planet dead, the only remains of its past glory residing in its remaining Bubble Worlds.^[6]

• 250 million years ago
  • The civilization of planet Venus faced Honkai and lost.^[5] In an attempt to defend themselves, the Venusians triggered a Sea of Quanta tsunami, sweeping away the Cocoon, but nearly all life on the planet was destroyed, along with Sa's civilization, homeland, and culture, leaving her as the sole survivor.^{[citation needed]}

• 65 million years ago
  • Extinction of Dinosaurs on Earth.^[5]

Previous Era

• 50,000 years ago
  • During the battle against the Final Herrscher on the Moon, PROMETHEUS hacked the Cocoon and created the Will of Honkai, forcing the Cocoon to repeat its last cycle and become predictable.^{[citation needed]}

Current Era

• 2018
  • Earth transcended Finality and Kiana Kaslana became the Herrscher of Finality.^[5]
• September 22, 2023
  • Two people from Earth, Erdős Helia and Coralie 6626 Planck, landed on Mars for scientific explorations.^[5]
• 2029
  • Welt Yang and Void Archives leave Earth and infiltrate a Sky People spacecraft. There, Welt discovers records of the Sky People targeting a variant of Himeko.^[7] They both decide to leave the Solar System.^[8][9]
